I suppose it is possible, if not very likely, that elevator guy just has a stupendous lack of self awareness, but that is beside the point which is this: The crowd that immediately jumped to the 'defense' of Watson claiming that EG was a 'potential rapist' are arguing from the basic premise that male sexuality is bad because it threatens women. And then, MRA's come along and say 'EG was totally innocent, he probably just wanted coffee!" which agrees with the basic premise of the 'potential rapis…

Nobody knows his name, who he is, or even what he looks like, so no.

Who fucking cares about the sexual innuendo? Sexual innuendo is not bad and treating it like it is, like this guy is some how 'more innocent' if he didn't actually mean anything sexual by his comment is just pandering to the 'all men are potential rapists' crowd. To 'get some coffee' is a well known and relatively straight-forward code for sex, especially in the context of late night (/very early morning) when you're just leaving a place that serves coffee. This is also supported by the 'I find you fascinating'. 'Please don't take this the wrong way' is one of those funny phrases like 'no offense' or, as other commentators have said 'I'm not racist but...' It's an escape clause. Given the context, there isn't much room for alternative interpretations.

She just said it was a creepy and uncomfortable. Which is totally understandable, being alone with a stranger in an elevator at night is uncomfortable enough without an unsolicited proposition for sex. It was the commentators that made the thing out as 'potential sexual assault' and the other bullshit.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
