Newborn Circumcision pros/consWith the STD/STI one, my main argument would be. Is a newborn baby going to be having sex? if not then its a pointless argument for a newborn. If your son wants to have it done around the time he would be having sex then that's his decision, if he is old enough to decide to have sex then he is old enough to decide on circumcision. Hygiene one is kinda moot if you have access to clean running water. kids will pick on kids for anything, if its not one thing it will be something else, weight, glass… | /r/MensRights | 11/12/14 02:33 PM
My first son was born over the weekend! I was given one day of paternity leave. My wife gets 8 months.same in the uk | /r/MensRights | 05/12/14 02:02 AM
Just got this e-mail from a professor at my university. My thoughts on the issue are that you should either allow exclusive clubs/spaces for both men and women or you should disallow them for everyone. I don't mind either way. I really dislike the idea of removing one groups while keeping the others. However I find this situation different. I don't thing education should ever be segregated like this. | /r/MensRights | 04/12/14 12:01 AM
"Michelle Obama told a joke about men they didn't find funny. That's hilarious"i don't know whether its a good thing or not that i assumed in advance that this article would be from Jessica Valenti. | /r/MensRights | 10/08/14 03:05 AM
it's not okay to rape or decide for women, but if you are a man, you should agree to marriage...oh definitely this is a hard situation on both of them. Him backing off and telling her things such as wait a few months until after his sisters wedding has got to lead her to think that he is fine with it and its just not the right time for it, when its now clear that he really wasn't. personally i think they should have the ceremony without the legal stuff but that obviously isn't enough for her. its sad that what appears to be a good relationship otherwise might be broken up over one differen… | /r/MensRights | 07/08/14 12:49 AM
it's not okay to rape or decide for women, but if you are a man, you should agree to marriage...I feel sorry for the guy, he is happy with going forward with a wedding cerimony but doesn't like the legal side so people are telling her to break up with him. They appear to be happy together outside of this one issue. | /r/MensRights | 06/08/14 11:16 AM
I'm curious as to the party identification on this sub...I'm a libertarian on the left, although being from the UK I have no idea who to vote for anymore. All of the big parties have major flaws and the others don't have nearly enough sway for it to matter. | /r/MensRights | 21/07/14 12:33 AM
Male to female trans peopleGender Dysphoria is a real condition. Its not something a few people made up to feel better about themselves. | /r/MensRights | 20/07/14 02:26 PM
[X-Post from /r/Feminism] "The average prison sentence for men that kill their female partners is 2-6 years. The average sentence for women that kill their male partners is 15 years." Your thoughts?i think its ok when you use /r/Subreddit, np is really for specific discussions rather than the whole subreddit in question. | /r/MensRights | 20/07/14 02:08 PM
10 Things I Wish I'd Been Told About Porn.Porn is like that. It inevitably leads to marriage, divorce, alimony and child support. Apart from that i agree with you, some people can get addicted to porn to the point that it ruins their lives but that is definitely the slim minority. Most people are fine with that and can easily separate what they see in entertainment from real life. Some couples enjoy watching porn together. | /r/MensRights | 19/07/14 02:21 PM
Female Teacher jailed for 2 year relationship with studentI thought it was going to be one of these stories with an 18 year old but he was 14 when it began, fuck that woman. Two years is too lenient. | /r/MensRights | 18/07/14 08:51 PM

Google will pay for coding lessons for thousands of female tech workers but not for male workersI have no problem when its private businesses doing this kind of stuff. if Google found that they were not getting many women applying to be tech workers then I'm fine with them encouraging that. I would like to see similar programs for males in childcare, education, psychology etc. It's a different matter when schools and such do this kind of stuff exclusively to one gender. | /r/MensRights | 11/07/14 01:24 AM

4Chani didn't realize that there was a new video in the series out, just watched it and this one is really bad, pretty much all of the arguments in this video could be applied to men in the same games. including things like the ability to kill women in games such as GTA or Hitman as violence against women. | /r/MensRights | 25/06/14 02:24 PM
During an argument about the MRM, someone posts stats from the SPLC. Can you guys help me debunk it?you can use the same study for the first claim. the yearly stats show 1,270,000 women were estimated to be raped and 1,267,000 men were estimated to have been forced to penetrate, definitions mean a lot here. for the second point some quick searching shows this study and you could also mention the mankinds violence is violence campaign in the uk as for the third point i've never seen anyone claim numbers on false accusations only that they do happen and that the college due process is terrible w… | /r/MensRights | 12/06/14 01:31 AM

In 2010 half of all sexual violence victims were men, but CDC says only 1:71 men are rape victims, because of archaic penetration definition.the definition could also diminish female on female rape as well in the cases in which no penetration took place. | /r/MensRights | 01/06/14 10:12 PM

I'm just a woman trying to spark some positive discourse. Please read, please consider, and please don't be hateful.two people who i know were definitively driven out of the movement were Erin Pizzey and Warren Farrell. Erin had to leave the country due to death threats aimed at her and her family. | /r/MensRights | 29/05/14 04:17 PM
Why isn't there a solid MRA group akin to NOW or NOMAS?even with solid groups occasionally bad people will become part of these groups and bad things will happen, religions being the main example. those people are soloed out and not seen as a representative of that group. Do people blame Christianity when children die due to their parents belief in faith healing? yes some do but the majority will blame the parents. | /r/MensRights | 28/05/14 01:14 AM

A live stream of Dr. Janice Fiamengo presenting at Queen's University, she is currently addressing men's issues and the double standards of feminismso, i decided to check what twitter was saying about the event, not recommended. there seemed to be an awful lot of misconception about what she was saying and the atmosphere in general seemed extremely hostile. | /r/MensRights | 28/03/14 01:43 AM

"Why does female-leaning fandom come in for such criticism?" I dunno. Why'd you delete my comments showing differently?i remember reading an article about how that kind of fantasy is actually very normal for people, they are connecting more with the characters personalities in the show rather than just being attracted to cartoon horses as many outlets would lead you to believe. this would probably also explain the very large quantity of fan fiction that the series has spawned. im no psychologist so dont take anything i say too seriously ^_^ | /r/MensRights | 05/11/13 04:13 PM
Reddit is waking up to feminist falsehoods by not accepting the "1 in 4 women will be sexually assaulted in their lifetime" statistic.given that if they have had sex after drinking = rape then yes this statistic is probably true but seeing how their partner would have likely also been drinking does that make almost 1 in 4 women rapists? | /r/MensRights | 15/08/13 11:19 PM
Feminism, video games and why simply having breasts apparently denotes 'sexualization'i don't see samus in her zero suit as sexualised at all, it makes perfect sense given her powersuit. the design they had earlier also made sense imo but i can see people complain about that as well. original lara was undoubtedly sexualised but that wasn't really prominent during the last games and she isn't sexualised at all in the reboot. | /r/MensRights | 19/07/13 02:45 AM
