I wouldn't necessarily call it rape either. I think what they're trying to point out is that when the roles are reversed and it's an adult man having sex with a teenage girl, the media will almost certainly refer to it as "rape" even if the girl consented as well. Both should be treated as equally wrong but never seem to be.
