Anyone can visit a Buddhist pagoda, go in and pray or meditate. But living among the monks, no. She's a female, someone correct me if I'm wrong, but she couldn't even live or sleep in the housing around the wat because, female. I've seen westerners in SE Asia who were monks. I've seen elderly local women helping out and kind of acting like nuns. I stand by what I said. Stop following me around Reddit. Dork

Oh, this was a decade ago. I live in one of the biggest metro cities in the US and I don't drink. You totally missed my point because you were too concerned with trying to argue about some small shit .. sad.

Never got one. You don't live in the real world my friend. Nobody DDing after work in a very small blue collar town because someone is having a few after work beers. Get real. This isn't a Saturday night at the club.

This was before uber in.a small Midwestern town. No taxis or buses. Bike is still a DUI. Believe it not, some working blue collar folks like to have just a beer or two after work.

They almost always do. Only thing is, you pay for it. It's not provided free. A lot of drug rehab facilities are filled with court ordered people. AA as well.

My buddy got caught with weed a decade ago. Judge said he can do 1 year probation and community service or 5 straight days in county jail. He chose the 5 days. As I would have as well. This way way up in Northern Michigan. The county jail was exactly hardcore and filled with dangerous people.

To be honest, it has to go case by case. I know more than a few non alcoholics with 1 DUI for barely being over . 08BAC. It's difficult if you don't feel buzzed but are over. My buddy is a cop and on saint paddys day, we were going to do our normal binge drinking and see how fucked up we could get via his breath a lyzer. Early morning, I had finished my 2nd beer in about 1 hour. I blew .085, a dui. I felt 100 percent normal. Not even slightly buzzed.

What a dumb cunt. Living in Thailand with monks. Bullshit bitch, you were on the beach. Unless she speaks Thai or was already a knowledgeable Buddhist, it'd be pretty fucking hard to just rock up to a Thai pagoda and start sleeping there.

Did you read the Paris climate accord ? Awaiting your answer. It was unfair to the US taxpayers . I'm glad we have a leader who gives a shit about the US and not everyone else around the globe.

Rural Michigan here- Yeah, it isn't really about what they are farming. Most the farmers out here are sitting on millions of dollars worth of land that was bought when cheap or passed down to them from family.

His estimate of 35k per year is very low. Even here in Phoenix, Arizona, a right to work consevative state. I see postings for the Phoenix suburbs that start garbage truck drivers at 19-21 per hour plus benefits which I do believe is at least 40k+ if not more. I was having beers with an older gentleman ready to retire from the city as a garbage truck driver. He maxed out his raises and was making 90k with over time. Also, our garbage truck drivers just drive. No one touches the garbage cans. A m…

Here in Phoenix suburbs, the garbage man is just a driver. He doesn't even get out of the truck. Mechanical arm grabs plastic garbage bin and dumps it into the top of the truck. About $19-21 per hour starting wage plus city government benefits. Just drive around all day in AC truck. Must have CDL

Well, sometimes it is a government job. It is usually a city government job, not a state. Back in rural Michigan there were more than a few private sanitation companies that contracted with smaller cities. Here in the suburbs of Phoenix, the guys don't even get out of their truck. The mechanical arm just grabs our plastic bins and dumps them. Not a bad gig. Just need your CDL

I have recently lived in a major SE Asian Capital city where the corrupt garbage collection service went on strike for 2 weeks. It was a huge deal and mounds of garbage started stacking up around the city. The entire city stank. It sucked.

No. Not fair really . Let's say men stopped working for 1 week. Police , fire, rescue services. Men Your curbside garage would start to pile up. Imagine if your house caught on fire. Who'd save you , the hordes of female firefighters? Who'd police? Who would build anything? The large # of female trades workers ? Let's talk about IT. The fucking internet could very well break. Who'd maintain it ? The 10% of the entire IT industry that is female?
