2	Why should male gamers change their behavior? Yeah, just because the status quo is that guys are assholes and generally unkind doesn't mean that it should always be that way. Accepting that this shit goes on only helps keep it that way. 7	Male Privilege. I think the main point is that this is typically how the media portrays women and men. Women are the ones cleaning house or modeling, while men are portrayed as soldiers or construction workers. Regardless of how things really are, this viewpoint is forced onto society every day.
