That's societies fault. Women are being raised to assume they're entitled to everything. Now, this isn't all women. I have met some who work hard for what they have and I respect them.
I think your missing the point of a date. A date is to integrate with someone as a potential spouse. If your going to text during your time with them why go? Closest I came to 'hitting a woman' was tripping my old female 'friend' because she was hitting me. I told her if she got up and resumed I would do it again. She tried a second time and I tripped her again. I'm personally against fights or throwing punches but everyone should be able to defend their self's. If self defense laws weren't sexist against men the women wouldn't be as abusive. This society is screwed and not getting any better.
