I completely agree with you, and I’m so sorry that happened to you (and angry that your assailant and others get away, every day). I especially detest the fact that the media always says “woman gets raped” rather than “man rapes woman” - as if it’s the woman’s fault! They can fuck right off with that mentality. The media is a huge problem in and of itself with how they choose to portray these topics. It has to change.

Yeah, let’s ignore and have zero empathy for all the women that were actually raped, sexually assaulted, harmed, and mentally and physically abused - but feel sorry for the men who are falsely accused. plays world’s tiniest violin /s

This is what spoke to me the most, too! The entire message just sounds so whiney. I never said false rape accusations were a good thing, I just said that rape is worse than false accusations, and I’ll die on a hill defending that statement.

Thanks for answering! I'm just wondering, did I break the 'derailing' rule with my comment from yesterday? I'm genuinely curious, as I love the community and seeing the tag today felt a little disheartening, I just want to understand so I don't err again.

Or the adage - "Even negative publicity is publicity". I feel a lot of it consists of young women who want to be 'one of the guys' or the 'cool girl, not like other girls'. Hopefully it's a phase and they'll grow out of it... Self-respect is worth a lot more, and lasts longer than one-off, short-term male validation (if you can even call it that, when they're roasting you).

u/TheOGJammies, u/AverageToHot, u/CoolMelonade can we please, please look into this? There are so many FDSers that seem to have this tag with no explanation - can we at least know what we said to deserve to be identified as a Pickmeisha? Or better yet, can the tag be retired? I am incredibly disappointed to have come online tonight only to see that I received this tag (probably for my comment earlier in this thread). This is not what FDS is about.

Aaaand now I have a Pickmeisha tag.

Not OP but I’ve asked this twice before to others with the tag and no one knows! One of the mods gave it to them supposedly, but mailing doesn’t change the tag 🤷🏼‍♀️ I feel bad because the term Pickmeisha is already used too easily and makes it seem like FDS tears down women, when we want to do the opposite. And everyone I’ve seen with the tag was supporting FDS principles. I think this tag should be banned for actively participating members who ascribe to FDS. Maybe if someone goes rogue and tr…

Same. There was a movie where the couple was in therapy and had to say what they loved about the other. “she’s an amazing mom” was the first thing, rather than her kindness, loyalty, honor, integrity, intelligence, etc. I would hate that, losing my individuality 💀

And they’re pissed! But I’m sure these guys don’t make the link with “this is how I treat women”. That’s the sad part. They think it’s ok when they do it.

Remember the hooligans killing each other, starting riots in the streets and destroying PRICELESS historical monuments due to football / soccer? Yeah, ladies - the more logical, rational and less emotional gender is definitely men!

Yes! My thoughts exactly. I realized this especially when watching a series where a gay man kissed a straight man - the latter was disgusted and pushed the guy away and got aggressive and cussed him out. Why? If it were happening to a woman, we would be told to be flattered! But they’re disgusted at the idea that someone wants to penetrate their “holes” (yet when referring to women, they love to say “any hole’s a goal”). Hate the bigotry and misogyny.

I had a (male) doctor even say that when working with children, boys are so much whinier and cry more than girls. Even with the same procedure (e.g., freezing off a wart on the foot). I had it done when I was 12 and it mostly tickled. My doctor said that women have double the pain receptors as men, so we technically feel more pain, but we have higher pain thresholds (likely due to shit like painful periods and childbirth). Men can really be so whiney when it comes to pain. Meanwhile women are pl…

I am the queen and the worker bee!! Hahahah, love it. This reminds me of the show “room raiders” on MTV, where the guy would go through three rooms, and 9/10 times if he found some makeup (I’m talking like a tiny amount, one of each product) he would be like “Nah, too high maintenance for me!!”. And then at the end when he saw how beautiful the “high maintenance” girl was? He had MAJOR REGRETS. I just think it’s ridiculous that men think women are high maintenance. Do they think we expect them t…

I’ve never known any guys into it, but maybe because I’m 29 and in Europe. A girlfriend got me into it (who even got a plumbus tattood on her arm.. lol). I can imagine the young male fan base as I grew up with family guy and South Park and I think that led to similar types of male followers...

What’s wrong with rick and morty? I wouldn’t call myself a fan, but I’ve watched some shows in the background while doing chores and it seems Morty’s mom is the smart woman bringing home the bacon (settling for a LVM, Morty’s father, yes) and even Summer, Morty’s sister, is given some moments highlighting how smart and independent she is. Morty is the stupid one. Rick seems to be a moronic genius, but I can’t recall any bad moments. I’d love if someone could clarify though in case I need to boyc…

There's a saying in my language about this, but for women "the best way to get over one guy, is to get under another". I think it's very common for people to do in general, as a new date or relationship is a good distraction. Also, I've heard the infatuation or intoxication of a new relationship (the "honeymoon" phase) likened to the high you get from cocaine, whereas the comfort from an existing relationship has been likened to heroine. And the highs are addicting, especially for people who hav…

Maybe just try posting it again? (Although I thought once we were approved posters our posts automatically went through, but maybe it depends on the mod.) I would be interested in this discussion, as I have similar views on OLD and would like to hear strategies. At the moment, I think Covid is hitting HVW hard when it comes to dating in general. Just curious - why was your post removed? I don’t get why some posts never even appear on FDS (without any explanation), but also those FDSers with Pickmeisha titles who have asked mods why they have it and to change it, but get no response. I see it popping up more and more and it’s a bit worrying.

What the actual fuck... that is sick. Just as sickening as the post where guys admitted to wanting to rape if they could get away with it. Is it SO hard to be human and put some effort into your relationships?? Do they treat their friends and parents like shit too?

I just checked the comments in your post that got removed... Jesus, those men are the fucking worst. They literally think every woman on FDS is fat/ugly/stupid/annoying or whatever and all we do is complain. I agree that there are terrible women out there, but I think history and society has proven us that men, at large, are so much worse - just look at pedophiles, rapists and murderers, the large majority are men. And nowadays, most men go from their mothers to girlfriends doing the bare minimu…

Yet they’re the “less emotional” and “more intelligent” sex 😂 I hate how when men have a cold that most women would not even bat an eyelash at, men are acting like they’re terminally ill and can’t even lift a finger. It’s being joked about, but it seriously pisses me off every time I see it.

Exactly the same. I would be categorized as vanilla - and you know what, I don’t care. I love vanilla. I feel like I’ve had people try to shame me for being vanilla though, or for not having a kink. My kink is mutual enjoyment, quid pro quo sex and getting off together. That’s it.

The only part even remotely “nice” about this is that she didn’t want to give him head, and wasn’t forced into doing it. But everything else - the age gap, his “dream”, the fact he GAGGED giving oral??? Wtf. I’ve never heard of that before. Men who are so disgusted by vaginas that they gag (I’m assuming she showered before if she shaved and is otherwise clean), shouldn’t be having sex with women, period. They should stick to men.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy08/11/20 10:08 PM

This is exactly the thing... it’s always men who call other men “gay” or “pussies” for appearing weak because they equate weakness with women. Men can’t cry or show emotion like sadness or regret. Men cannot care about their appearance too much. Cooking and cleaning are women’s jobs. (Except when you’re cooking at chef level for Michelin star restaurants - then you have to be a man because a woman cannot handle the stress!). It’s men who are poisoning the well for other men, not women. Calling e…

I do and still do this, but I’ve had terrible experiences with female doctors too. If I have a bad experience with any doctor, I go to another one, period. Life is too short to not be treated the way you expect by any physician or caregiver or service provider. I’m just lucky I have options - many women are not so lucky and are forced to see specific physicians. Regarding female doctors being unprofessional or inappropriate, I’m not sure if it’s internalized misogyny, or what, but it’s depressin…

I am like you - I love pampering myself and I kind of like using makeup to show how I feel or want to look. It’s a ritual I enjoy doing, I drink some coffee, play some music and get creative. I feel like nowadays, men are also getting a bit more pressure to look good. Maybe not enough (compared to women), but I’ve known heterosexual men who wore foundation or used powder or concealer to hide blemishes and look more awake. Same with eyebrows. At the same time, makeup is linked to being feminine a…

So when we're aroused, our labia, clitoris (which is not just the outer part, but also the wishbone-shaped part lining the labia) and vagina swell with blood, so I feel like it'd be a more cushion-y feeling, even if our vagina expands a bit in order to allow a penis to fit (I've sometimes involuntarily tightened up and couldn't have sex comfortably because I was nervous of the pain - turns out I was just not aroused and relaxed enough). My current partner actually even says it hurts him (he has …

Yes this. I also never understood the appeal of drag - men dressing up like women and act catty and bitchy, how is that not generally seen as sexist rather than empowering? Especially as when they’re out of drag, they still have male privilege.

I loooove ScienceVS, pretty sure the three leads are all women (although Gimlet has some men), and I absolutely adore the voice and intonation of Wendy, who presents! They also cover topics like female orgasms, birth control, and abortion from a scientific standpoint.

I’m not in tech, but in a male dominated field, and today I was told that they hired a second woman and they’re happy to have some more “feminine energy” in a way that said women are sooo different from men. I know we have differences in how we use our brains, but I can’t help but feel a big part of this is nurture over nature (except perhaps for male aggression due to testosterone). The men I’ve worked with have been WAY more emotional than the women. And way more petty, gossipy, competitive, p…

This makes it even more sad but is probably true. It seems so many LVM don’t even love the woman they’re with / mother of their child. The women are just there to take care of them and clean the house. Once a better option comes along, the guy dumps her. This is so scary, but I sincerely hope precautionary measures like vetting will help (otherwise it’s fucking hopeless). Or do we need to start faking illness to see how a man will deal with it in case we really need his help???

I’ve never given birth but I also feel physically ill from reading this - I think all of us who have had sex have had some pain at one time or another, also with painful periods. But then imagine that pain magnified by like a 100 (if not more) - that’s what I imagine it must feel like. I feel so so so sorry for this woman and so disgusted by men who would do this. I thought all human beings had a measure of empathy, but this belief is constantly challenged by posts like this.

I’m so disgusted by the original post and this idea too... wtf. It’s making me literally feel sick to my stomach, and I do not easily have this reaction to horrible posts on Reddit (I do get a Vaso-vagal reaction from gyno exams though, so the idea of this just makes me so squeamish as it must be so painful after giving birth). Just curious - how did you react? I mean it’s only advice so you can’t force anyone. But I hope at the very least it was consensual and the woman wanted it (although I re…

I used to watch it, and I noticed myself going into this vicious cycle of needing “more” to get off faster, as time went by. (Never direct degradation of women - I hate name calling, slapping / violence, or if the woman looks like she’s in pain, as that is and was always huge turn off.) But knowing that you keep going further and further from loving, sensual vanilla porn to more hardcore topics, and how porn does negatively affect your brain, AND how messed up the industry is - I haven’t watched…

I get where you’re coming from and I agree - I think rather the idea was that this guy probably planned all this himself and surprised her with it maybe? It depends on the woman too, maybe this is really her dream date (which admittedly doesn’t meet our expectations). There are many women who maybe hate the idea of sitting in a fancy restaurant for every date in the long run. Although this date shown in the picture as a first date or one of the first dates seems like a terrible idea...

I live in Luxembourg and it’s the same - yet meanwhile women get official letters with “Mrs. Man’s First and Last Name” or “Mrs. Woman’s First and Last Name + Husband’s Last Name”. It’s frustrating, especially with the fact that it was often to denote ownership historically - you weren’t your own person, you belonged to a man, to be used and abused at will. Even now wives can be legally raped by their husbands in some countries...

Really? I had heard about the feminism subreddits but thought TrollX and WvP were run by women. I’m so disillusioned now :( thanks for letting me know. I’m already annoyed by the amount of men that comment on TrollX posts for women - like today a woman posted about how you shouldn’t have sex with someone that you have to force a condom on. Any time! Happy to help :) I think these are definitely good mindsets for dealing with anxiety - I myself dealt with it (and still do to a lesser extent) as I have a vomiting phobia and that is linked to a fear of losing control (like vomiting in public and feeling shame). Changing the way you view these things and altering your mindset can make all the difference and really help decrease or even eliminate your anxiety in the long run - for example, next time just confront yourself when you’re f…

Wall of text incoming! :) I rolled into stoicism after having a colleague gift me Mark Mansons' book "The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck", as I liked sending "look at all the fucks I have to give" memes and acting like I didn't care (when in reality I used to care too much about unnecessary things, and sometimes still do - which is what I'm working on!). You should write a book on it if you want to - I would love to read it! This is such an interesting and relevant topic. Speaking of books, your first comment reminded me a bit about a book written about a "warrior tribe" of men where they conquered and enslaved other races / tribes under "might makes right". They also punished women for "their own good" (i.e., if a woman got herself in a situation where she could be hurt, even by her own hand, she would be punished). When I read the same book re…

Yes, completely agree! I have actually also often considered the possibility that I might not have kids ever, at least biologically, and that’s ok. I will make my life the best I can, with or without kids. My mindset is that I’ll continue to level up and learn and improve myself until I die. I don’t need to leave some huge legacy - that’s unrealistic for 99% of the population.

Yes! Everyone starts in the womb with XX chromosome for example, so their beloved penises used to be clits. One of my fave biology facts. Plus I read a while ago on FDS that the technology to reproduce solely with women exists, which makes men even more obsolete.

Yeah and who’s pumping out all these hot young women? I mean, you can’t expect them all to fuck the same pussy - they would complain it’s too loose even if she’s 21 because she’s had too many men. Or there would be resource guarding and wars like we’ve never seen before as a result of only the “alphas” getting the hot young girls. Ugh even writing this makes me want to gag.

Men have to create a purpose, joke of the year!!! So many of them do fuck all, they smoke, drink, do drugs, make zero plans and sleep all day and then complain about not having a purpose. Or expect women to give them one or help them “find their way” - fuck that.

I feel like men in America vs. men in Western Europe are often different breeds. Not better, just different. In America they seem to have more guts to approach women (maybe the way society teaches them to behave?). The upside in Europe is that you rarely get approached, but men are also easily intimidated and don’t seem to make as much of an effort to be a HVM. At least that’s my experience having lived in America, the Netherlands, Germany and Luxembourg.
