I’m seeing it happen in schools, on multiple tik tok comments, followed up with straight rape threats. Idk that’s it’s all that uncommon. It will probably get worse, so I understand women trying to mentally prepare in case they have to defend themselves against their own spouses watching these douchebags online.

Oh, so you think going up to women and saying “your body, my choice” has no other implications? I thought it sounded like a threat but gotcha.

Are they supposed to be showing the abuse? How are you guys so dense the second you want to be victims? It’s a response to the implication of SA. Don’t act dumb. The videos are saying “you can try it”.

How is it delusional if it’s the only means of protecting yourself from physical or sexual abuse? If you’re trapped with the person who keeps hurting you with no other way out? Yeah, it’s to defend yourself from continuing to be hurt. How is that a question… don’t abuse/ rape women and you will be fine. Do so and FAFO, I think that’s the main point of the videos and you shouldn’t be clutching your pearls if you aren’t a POS.
/r/MensRights10/11/24 11:43 PM

No. Women who they are deriving the idea of poisoning from did so because they were being abused or to save others who were… they even gave the history in the videos. This was a response to men saying “your body, my choice”. It’s a threat of SA. It’s a threat to forcefully take away their choices, freedoms, and liberties. Otherwise, it’s telling the women who are married to or living with men who start showing their ass by trying to take away their choices via SA, isolation, and abuse as things …

So you do or don’t have an issue with rapists and abusers getting what they deserve?

Good thing the videos weren’t saying that either. They were in response to DV and men saying “your body my choice” aka the threat of SA. Yeah if you try to rape someone or are abusing your wife/gf, you get what you get.

You’re comparing apples to oranges. These videos are telling women to poison men who try to SA them or are abusing them… not to just go out and start poisoning men. How is that the same at all. One is self defense and one is not.
/r/MensRights10/11/24 07:05 PM

I don’t understand why those TikTok posts were problematic? It looked like as long as you don’t SA or abuse your wives/ gf, you won’t be poisoned? Am I misunderstanding something?

You aren’t reading. I said men are not killed by women at the same rate. Who exactly is out there killing other men, hm? Men. And it’s killing; men are not being kidnapped and SA’d by other men the same rate women are being kidnapped and SA’d by men.

And the third source doesn’t hold up to the argument either. I never said women were never at fault. The logic is weird on this sub. Just because men commit most rapes, doesn’t mean women don’t. Just because most of the time fathers leave, doesn’t mean that is always the case. Stop taking everything so personally, if the shoe doesn’t fit, don’t wear it. We are clearly not talking about you. A lot of other men do suck, it’s a cultural issue in America. That’s the point.
/r/MensRights05/05/24 01:53 AM
1

Upon reviewing the first source… it still doesn’t explain how this is women’s fault. The default is for women to take care of the children due to sexism… that’s it. Nowhere does it say that women are forcing the father out or discouraging a relationship. Also… what is the father’s new purpose outside of being a breadwinner? Being a father jfc. If that’s all men see themselves being useful for that’s on them. He’s right, women don’t need men for money anymore, instead they can be what they always…
/r/MensRights05/05/24 01:51 AM

I’ll read through the other 2, but the middle study does not prove anything. It doesn’t say it’s the mother’s fault. It simply says that when divorce is not consensual (on either the mother or father’s part) they are more likely to lose contact with the father. Same as it saying when the children live with the mother or live farther apart from the father they are more likely to lose touch with their dad… well yeah, that doesn’t determine it is the mother’s fault either. It proves nothing at all.…

The way that nobody said any of that but men are not assaulted, strangled, kidnapped, raped, held captive, tortured, killed by women at nearly the same rate. Give it a rest with the disingenuous argument.

Okay, prove it.
/r/MensRights05/05/24 12:07 AM

No it’s not. Often times the woman stays in the same place and the dad physically leaves. It’s like because he’s not getting some pussy anymore, it’s not worth putting in the work of sharing the child-rearing responsibility.
/r/MensRights05/05/24 12:03 AM

How is that an excuse not to be in your child’s life 🙄 it’s called co parenting, get along enough for your kid and do it. Also, why are women initiating so much more?

The way that your fears are doxing, losing your job, and having a ruined reputation and not being kidnapped and raped for years while being forced to give birth to multiple babies that die, being dismembered, and being tortured says a lot lol.

Well it is true, statistically speaking. Also, the whole point is to decenter men in our lives, so we aren’t happier single because we are getting free things from men. We have a community in our family and friends including healthy relationships with women and men. Plenty of women turn down the attention of men when going out with friends even if that means they are buying their own or their friends drinks. Why does it matter anyways? What does this have to do with Men’s rights? You have the ri…

They aren’t actually. The point is that the worst a bear will do is eat you, yes it’s traumatic but it’s a lot quicker than being raped and tortured and then killed or even quicker than being kidnapped and kept in a basement for years being raped and tortured just to be killed. I’ve seen bears in the woods and for the most part if you don’t keep open food on you and leave them tf alone they won’t bother you. They have no ill intent, they are simply trying to survive. I have decided that I will engage in the suicidal conversation. I can see several reasons as to why the suicide rate for men is higher than women’s. Of course, there’s the obvious almost fool-proof maneuvers used during male suicide attempts which make a difference. But I also believe a lot of it is indeed male isolation, and loneliness. Anecdotal experience coming in once again, but a lot of the women I have in my life ( maybe I just choose good women to surround myself with), do not deny that …

The double standard barely applies here, can we at least have a conversation that’s not out of bad faith. It is not a common theme at all. I can bring up some stats real quick if you really want me to but I would hope we can agree that MOST households in America atm are not single income… the average person just can’t afford it. Most women are working alongside their partner. Most men can’t afford to “support the household” alone. You are pushing the point and I’m not interested in having a ment…

I’m not going to dismiss your anecdotal experience but I don’t think there’s no “woman flu” because it would be misogynistic as there are plenty of far worse things said about women, I think it just statistically doesn’t happen as often. I mean think about it, as a woman with a cycle, we really only feel “great” about half the month every month. The other half is us being depressed because all of our happy hormones are literally crashing (serotonin, dopamine) and then we are cramping, bloating, …

I think the point is that when women get the same illness we are expected to and do still keep the house together. We still get out of bed, cook, clean, take care of the kids, sometimes go to work even but men are supposed to be much stronger than us and can’t seem to handle the same illness nearly as well. While it’s true that the same virus can vary greatly in symptoms and severity in different people, it seems to be a very common theme in specifically heterosexual relationships. What also ten…

I mean… stabbing someone five times in the face IS beyond reasonable force. You had to purposely TRY to stab them specifically in the face. The body would’ve been reasonable/ understandable. Agreed. My type was average height, lean, athletic build by the time I was early 20’s but I fell in love with a man who is only a bit taller than me and has a naturally thicker build, nothing like what I usually go for but the heart wants what it wants. We are engaged now.

I think it’s because the sacrifices in those situations seem worth it? You are in the middle, so you are working long hours but it’s not providing enough benefit for the cost of not seeing you at home. Well if you’re comparing acid attacks, throwing drinks, stabbing, shooting, and raping to being called gay I do think one is much worse than the other. I’ve seen many instances in bars where a man becomes belligerent, won’t take no for an answer, or just throws drinks on women. It’s not that uncommon. Now, murder is a much smaller group of men, however, women don’t know which man it is so why take the chance? I don’t think any of us would eat a handful of skittles if someone told us one of them …

One issue is assuming that any woman who isn’t in their young 20’s (let’s say <25) is fertile. It’s scientifically inaccurate, we are most fertile in our mid to late 20’s. Answer what points you have to argue that you should be a grown ass man fucking around with someone still in high school? Isgaf if consent is 16 where you’re from. That’s a fucking child. They live with their parents. Go to high school, have an allowance, are learning basic history and math. May have not even decided what their careers will be. Go to the prom and homecoming. They’re naive, inexperienced, and highly impressionable. Justify that shit. Creep.

Where I am from consent is 18. Underage is 17. So when I said underage, where I am from, that would be 17. But careers don’t really make up that number. There aren’t that many men putting of children to pursue careers where building is going into their 30’s. Yeah OP is the one that said that women in their younger 20’s are more attractive and that’s the reason. I said there isn’t much difference meaning that men are going for them because they are less mature and easier to manipulate. I said that the times they do look different is when you have the younger 20’s looking like they are still teens and if you find that more attractive than a grown woman, that’s weird. I mean… if you’re in your 30’s, why haven’t you had kids by now? Why are you having to date down several years to catch up? Maybe you just weren’t meant to have kids. You literally have a decade to find someone, settle down, and get them pregnant. Fertility is highest ages 20-29. So that leaves women in their mid 20’s to late 20’s as options. https://www.marchofdimes.org/peristats/data?reg=99&top=2&stop=2&slev=1&obj=1

Hmmm if they dress like children and act like children, it’s not rocket science to figure out the intent. If it isn’t the laziest gaslight ever “if you recognize it, you’re the problem!” You sound like yt people who try to gaslight POC for calling out their racism lol Why are you yelling? It’s the internet, calm down.

No you are just all over the place so I have no idea what point you are trying to make. What’s right there in the sentence? That men should wait around? What women are doing has nothing to with you. Wait or don’t. If you’re going after younger women because the older ones don’t want you maybe think about why that is. Women aren’t swearing off men but their standards are higher as the article says. If older women don’t want you but younger ones do, it may be that they don’t know any better but I think the men going after them know that whether subconsciously or not. That’s why it’s …

Eh, I’m a smaller person and while I look younger than I am, I certainly don’t look like a teenager, so it’s not really a fair point. We could open the conversation up to intent. I think it’s creepy to specifically go after someone who’s not underage because they look underage. Same thing with porn, it’s weird to want to watch grown women who just look like teenagers/children. You may not technically be a predator but you have predator-like taste.

Because a woman hasn’t come on to here to specifically say it, so it’s assumed to make women look bad.

Prostitution has been around for centuries all over the world… obviously people making a living out of sex work aren’t going to let slut shaming affect them. I think we both know I’m speaking of young impressionable girls who used to care and grew up to stop caring. And whose fault is that?

It actually wasn’t. How about this. Point out where that was mentioned? That post doesn’t say that women are sharing men. It does say that they are dating each other and older men. Also, this article only pertains to young women when I specifically mentioned older women considering that this is the demographic being attacked on this post for being “bitter and lonely”. Oh, so you only know what they have told you? Nice. No, it used to work. It was a big cultural hit around the early 2000’s where women were also told to save themselves for marriage and that grown men needed to be “saved” instead of get into some therapy. As to how you feel shame for someone else’s actions I will never understand. Now if you see them as an extension of yourself instead of them being their own person, that would make sense and would only be your own fault. I never said that most …

Then how would you even know lol you don’t have the average American man’s perspective. Because they can be. Slut shaming doesn’t work anymore and women don’t care to appear a certain way. They’ve realized that if men can fuck around, they can too. It’s as simple as it sounds.

It’s the vibe of “you should’ve given guys like me the chance when you were young and hot and now it’s too late”. It just sounds bitter and like a revenge fantasy. Also, your theory falls flat when stats are showing women are happiest when they are single and childless and many older women are choosing to stay single. That doesn’t really add up, does it? Even if it wasn’t true it doesn’t change the fact that it’s not our responsibility to do your emotional labor for you. If you want to suffer in silence that’s on you. We don’t have to feel it or deal with it. We are people who also have our own emotions and lives to regulate and you’re a grown ass man. We have our own romantic lives to navigate and watching out for people who might like us is not on our radar. Life doesn’t owe you shit and neither do women.

Factually incorrect or your bad take? Like I said, many girls don’t like to assume because they feel that if this dude really cared for them they would be honest and/ or they don’t want to feel as though they are being cocky. Therefore, many women don’t know for sure that they are being chased. This is why it is on the guy to let them know that they are being chased. The term “nice guy” in this context is different from a kind guy. It’s simply performative. The same way you can be “nice” by holding doors for people, greeting everyone, and smiling at strangers but then go on to say ignorant/ hateful shit, gossip about your friends, and be manipulative. That might be a nice person but that’s not a kind person. Being kind is a genuine trait you have as a person. Being nice is performing actions that society has deemed as good. I believe the first article compares rape of women to sexual violence of men. It’s not a fair comparison as sexual violence does not necessarily equate rape. The ratio for sexual violence of women is higher than the ratio for rape. They are comparing a specific type of sexual violence against women to a broader range for men. Also, this number is just of the women who reported it, so we have to assume it’s higher much like how we must assume the number for men is higher. The second article demon…

That’s fucking sad to hear. But yeah, I think it’s the way men and women are conditioned that we manifest it differently just like with adhd and autism. Yeah, I think that it can be treated as a modern day hysteria because it doesn’t make sense for men to not have it equally when they undergo the same amount of trauma so I feel like it’s a mix of “she’s difficult to treat and has OCD, MDD, BD, and anxiety which is weird so BPD” or “idk why my treatment isn’t working so it must be BPD” and men not seeking out therapy as often. I hear you. I’m a chick if you couldn’t tell but yeah I’ve also been raped by several people. I’ve honestly never heard a dude talk about his experience and the effects so openly. My fiancée won’t talk about it and I obviously don’t push and then my guy friend doesn’t even see his situation as SA. I live in the southern US where men are told to be grateful for any sexual contact from women and if not, they’re gay.
/r/MensRights29/12/23 11:24 PM

I’m genuinely sorry to hear that. Well I’m trying my best to call people out for their shit when it comes to SA for men. Like men setting their sons up with grown women and women dating much younger guys. It’s disgusting no matter who it happens to.

See, that’s where we don’t agree. Cluster b’s are not that common, yet everyone will exhibit one of those things we just listed at least once in their life. A lot of people will exhibit them together because many do it as a defense mechanism without even realizing it. They pop up in arguments, when people feel attacked or threatened. You just said they were in the comment I replied too 😩 idk man, I don’t think two people who are getting help for something so difficult dating is always going to be a good thing, almost like how addicts doing well initially can derail each other with one off day. To clarify by an “off” day I mean maybe being a little snippy, not being abusive or traumatizing your partner.
/r/MensRights29/12/23 10:37 PM
1

Bro that’s what I’m SAYING. Yes! Like if you’re a POS, you’re a POS. I’d rather date someone who has BPD who has learned to effectively manage it than someone without it who behaves and treats me a lot worse. In that scenario it doesn’t matter who has BPD, but the way they treat their partners.
/r/MensRights29/12/23 10:32 PM
1

You’re not just sharing a preference though lol you are actively encouraging people to stay away from those with mental health d/o. And you are generalizing by saying saying no BPD is good to date because you don’t think dealing with the potential signs and symptoms are worth it. No one is saying that you aren’t accurately sharing the traits.
/r/MensRights29/12/23 10:26 PM
1

I mean we all have the same possible mix of traits… they’re traits not just exclusive to BPD. You can have a lot of cluster B traits even some of the worst ones without checking enough boxes for the d/o. That’s my point.
/r/MensRights29/12/23 10:22 PM
1

You are giving me the symptoms, correct. I’m saying the generalization comes in when you call all of those with BPD objectively undateable. That’s subjective, it’s your opinion, it’s not a fact. You are treating it as though it is one by warding other people off. You are saying they’re undateable due to having any of these symptoms like people without BPD don’t walk around gaslighting, manipulating, abusing, or all of the above without this d/o. Like… what’s the point? Why not just discourage pe…
/r/MensRights29/12/23 10:12 PM

No, you just aren’t listening. They are undateable to you. So basically mind your business and don’t discourage people from dating those with mental health disorders. That’s literally all I’m saying. It’s not that difficult.

I’d argue that it’s more homophobic. It’s not about being with a man because it’s one man, it’s because they were with a man period… which I would think is obvious. This was a big jump.

Not worth the risk to YOU. Your whole POV is so egocentric lol. If you don’t want to date them that’s fine but you could be responsible enough to not spread the already terrible stigma on the internet. That exact thinking is how women feel about dating men. It’s actually much more common for women to be misdiagnosed with BPD with they have autism or to miss the coexistence of the two because it’s become the new bipolar diagnosis (especially for women) where it’s pretty easy to throw out there for people with these traits who may actually are just autistic or have C-PTSD. When that many people are being misdiagnosed, now we are encouraging people to isolate those who aren’t even actually considered manipulative and/or dangerous to others. That was a…
/r/MensRights29/12/23 08:50 AM

Because you are either purposely missing the point because you can’t actually argue for it or you can’t keep track of the conversation. It’s disingenuous to act like you are simply saying “eh, people with BPD aren’t my cup of tea”. I mean it’s still generalizing a group of people which is still not great but you aren’t just doing that lol you are encouraging people to avoid relationships with them due to your personal bias and generalization.
/r/MensRights29/12/23 08:28 AM

And once again, it’s not just about you. Am I talking to a brick wall? The point is that not all people with BPD are the same AND you should not be online encouraging people to stay away from those with BPD as though they are. We shouldn’t be isolating people from society who already feel insecure and neglected. We shouldn’t be essentially punishing people for having an illness which is definitely what you are doing when you encourage people to avoid them as if they aren’t human beings who also …
/r/MensRights29/12/23 08:24 AM

Agree to disagree. There’s actually a lot of hate towards people with BPD. Just look up BPD in Reddit and there’s a lot more bashing people with the disorder that there is support for them getting treatment they need.
/r/MensRights29/12/23 08:19 AM
1

To actually answer your question, and I’m sure my answer is similar to yours, is because it’s not all people with BPD and some of them are worth the risk. They have their shit together, they go to therapy, they are introspective. They are outliers and wonderful people worth loving.
/r/MensRights29/12/23 03:56 AM

Every woman I’ve talked to has been sexually assaulted and/or raped by men yet on this sub no one is a rapist or predator. Same way that men IRL don’t know any rapists or predators. So I guess if we’re following that logic you should be on board with the like.
/r/MensRights29/12/23 03:54 AM
1

Why should women take the risk? Or is it that you don’t like to be generalized?
/r/MensRights29/12/23 03:52 AM
1

So I guess my question is… you’re saying “why date people with BPD when there’s a higher chance of violence/abuse/ mistreatment from them in relationships”, so why exactly is it hard to comprehend when women feel the same way about men? Then it’s “not all men” like you guys don’t make up the largest demographic in SA, murder, robbery, violent crime in general.
/r/MensRights29/12/23 03:51 AM

People with cluster b personality traits shouldn’t be expected to “stick to their kind”. If they feel they want to date someone who would understand then that’s great, but it shouldn’t be expected or encouraged by random people on the internet.
/r/MensRights29/12/23 03:48 AM

Once again. Disingenuous. I already told you it’s not about a preference, it’s about everything else i already said and I’m not repeating myself because you want to be difficult. Also, you act like everyone with a disorder is going to have all traits. This is why it’s not good to generalize. I think we both know that your comment is disingenuous. It’s not about having a preference, it’s about you encouraging other people to avoid pursuing a romantic relationship with a group of (mostly) traumatized people who have developed a personality disorder as a defense mechanism. Acting like they don’t deserve a partner that isn’t also dealing with an incredibly difficult d/o is pretty shitty too. Can you show a verified scientifically accurate reference that says those are “key traits”? Nobody should put up with that period whether the person doing those things has BPD or not. That’s why it’s not really relevant and is actually pretty ableist, ignorant, and harmful to spread that everyone with BPD acts the same way. People with BPD are victims, hence how the disorder started, and many of them go to therapy for treatment. How about we just avoid people who treat us badly, hm?

It has never been proven that humans are inherently selfish though. That’s why we have socialist countries. People are willing to have a higher tax burden in order for everyone to have access to basic human needs like healthcare. It’s a very American/individualistic way of thinking “fuck you, I got mine” has been taught to us since we could conceptualize it in this Country. Also, there’s no way that it’s natural for us or humans wouldn’t have even gotten this far. People used to have to rely on …

You don’t make your own luck. The literally definition of luck is the opposite of that. Luck: success or failure apparently brought by chance rather than through one's own actions. Recognizing the inherent bias in society isn’t having a bad attitude or pitying yourself. It’s not “whining” to demand being given the same chance as everyone else. If you are cool with being run over that’s on you, but others are going to fight for the same opportunities as others.

Umm it’s not random sexual touching. They are having sex with her while she is asleep. Sex without consent is rape. Unless they had a prior conversation saying it was okay, it’s rape. Our right to bodily autonomy and boundaries don’t go away when we get partners. We are still our own people and do not belong to anyone. This thought process is the same reason spousal rape is so prevalent and didn’t used to be illegal.
/r/MensRights20/12/23 05:51 AM

But not all rape is violent, in fact it usually isn’t. Unless you have established that it is okay to have sex with your partner while they are still asleep and unable to consent, it is rape. Period. No consent has been established up to that point. Some people don’t mind or even like it, but it may be traumatizing to others.

Oh wow, we are going to sit here and use athletics as a talking point. Why do you think that physical sports are one of the only areas black people overwhelmingly exceed? Why would we be favored there? You’ve got this.

As another mixed person who is one POC out of a group of other providers in a “progressive” area I can say that we are the exception statistically and it’s not because we are smarter or more hard working than every other POC not in our position, there’s way too much ego behind that line of thinking. I worked my ass off to but I can acknowledge that there’s no way I’m working as hard as someone living in a shitty area working three different jobs and still not getting anywhere.

Exactly. Like we are all adults, don’t have kids if you don’t want to take responsibility. You see what needs to be done and just do it whether that’s housework or childcare. My dude is the same way. He hears shit like this and rolls his eyes, like these people want men’s rights? They don’t even act like grown men. He cracks me up

If housework is all that easy, what does it say that men don’t want to do them? Is it because these partners are stupid or lazy? Also, coming home from a FT job and doing all these little things adds up. Why should women go to work and do the same shit or more and then come home and not have their own free maid as well? If women love their children, what’s the issue? So everyone who loves their job should just be volunteering then? It’s funny because I hear the same shit said to female dominant …

Because it’s not about punishment, it’s about leveling the playing field for everyone. How is it fair that generational wealth was passed down to white people far more than any other demographic in America? It’s not. While it’s not their fault today we can’t ignore that it inherently gives this group several advantages and black people today also shouldn’t suffer from what their ancestors went through. Remember that DEI wouldn’t even be necessary if qualified POC were being hired at the same rat…

Yeah an abortion is dealing with it lol. You aren’t ignoring are you? Honestly having the baby and giving it up for adoption would be not dealing with it more than an abortion. You just don’t like the way people are dealing with it.

Not really, I know a fetus is alive. I just don’t believe that it deserves more bodily autonomy than a full grown, tax paying, established citizen in society. I don’t believe the woman should be forced to grow something inside herself for 9 months that could potentially alter her body, mental state, and life forever. Or even end it. When the fetus can survive on its own, yes, it has the right to exist. You could run me down in the road and be the reason I need a blood transfusion or organ but it…

You are highlighting an irrelevant point to create a distraction and derail the original conversation which I’m not entertaining. The point I’m making pertains to the original point. We can start branching off if you want to but like I said I don’t think you are going to appreciate it. Is your argument that you shouldn’t intervene with a natural process or you should accept the consequences of your actions? They are different and can be argued very differently. Furthermore, death is still a natu…

If we are going to sit here and try to argue whether we should intervene in natural processes you are really not going to like modern medicine lol
/r/MensRights15/12/23 10:27 AM

But we aren’t arguing about whether it’s a natural process or not. Let’s stay on point. You said that people should just accept having a baby they don’t want because they knew the potential consequences of having sex. That is comparable to accepting the consequences of deciding to drive you car or rather any risky behavior that has undesirable consequences. Btw dying is a natural process, we don’t all get a nice cozy death.

Idk why people think this is realistic. First, these cases may not be verifiable. Second, people shouldn’t have to prosecute their rapist in order to move past it (testifying on a stand and having your character torn to shreds for being a victim is as bad as it sounds). Third, how long do you think these trials take? Not only that, but it can only be in cases of early pregnancy… so basically no one would be able to get an abortion who was SA’d. So every time you get in a car you accept getting into a car accident and therefore shouldn’t get treatment? Even if you wore a seatbelt and did everything right? I understand, I was speaking to this specific case. However, even in those cases it’s not feminists’ fault either. There aren’t feminists in the streets demanding this or even mentioning it as a part of the movement. Also, weren’t both judges men?

As a hardcore feminist, this is creepy and unethical af. I don’t believe in organ donation without consent, abortion bans, etc. so no, this is not my wet dream. So we will suffer for supporting abortion even though we aren’t getting them? I’m guessing it’s due to our beliefs. You don’t think you will be there with us for finding satisfaction in the thought of other humans suffering for eternity. It’s not giving “love thy neighbor”. Careful, God knows what’s in your hateful heart.

If you take a life, it’s murder. If I kill someone for trying to pull one of the things listed, it’s murder, that’s what I was trying to say. Unless you want to go by the legal definition, which is the unlawful killing of another person, in which abortion isn’t murder in states where it’s legal. You don’t have to care that you’re wrong, but you are.

It was factually a fetus. It would’ve been a baby if she gave birth. I’m sorry you’re in pain, but just try your best to move on and find someone who wants to actually have a baby with you. It’s way better than having a child with someone who never wanted them.
/r/MensRights30/11/23 10:31 PM

I mean I can think of many instances in which murder would be justifiable and not morally wrong. Examples: If someone is trying to kill me, if someone is trying to attack me, if someone is trying to kidnap me, if someone is trying to use my body against my will via organ donation. In all of these instances another person is encroaching on my right to live or my autonomy in a dangerous way. Even if I hit someone with my car, I don’t ethically owe them my body, organs, or life. So just because I f…

I don’t understand how teaching girls to prioritize safety over being nice is a bad thing? That’s how Ted Bundy killed so many women. It’s often how serial killers have the body count they do. While boys and girls are taught to be nice there is an expectation placed on women to smile, be friendly, be easy going, etc. that is not nearly as heavily placed on boys. When men speak up, keep to themselves, and set boundaries it’s seen for what it is, having self respect or being a quiet person. When w…

The issue is that many men don’t know they have SA’d someone. That’s why it sounds crazy. I’m confused by your question? Is there not equal opportunity in these jobs or are women just choosing not to do them? If men are being denied these positions because they are reserving spots for women, then yeah I’d agree that this is occurring here too. If they have tried to enforce that but no women apply and they’re very short staffed, so they give up and just hire men I’d say that this is why there isn’t equal opportunity, because women don’t want to do these jobs and they can’t make them a…

Bro stfu. Tellin me to sit down lol get a grip stranger on the internet. Considering that the discrimination against women used to mean that they couldn’t vote, own land, have jobs, establish credit, own a house, there’s no biological evidence to suggest that women were not as intelligent or capable as men when it came to making these decisions, holding jobs, or maintaining a household. I didn’t refute that. I said what I said. It may have been used to justify discrimination but it was inaccurate and illogical. Science has never actually backed any of that racist reasoning. It’s clear how men and women differ via what I said. It’s not that difficult to comprehend.
/r/MensRights17/11/23 01:51 AM

Anything can be used as a weapon when applied incorrectly. Saying that black people are dangerous, inferior, etc because they are black is very different than stating the simple fact that women on average are weaker than men due to body composition and lower muscle mass and bone density. One is bigotry not backed by science and the other is easily obtained knowledge via a pathophysiology course. Nice try though.

I agree actually. I think more can be done, I think a lot of what the public does for women is pretty performative. Like you said, if they cared enough to decrease violence, they would put their money where their mouth is. It’s the least we can do to know our own history, we can’t afford to be ignorant. He’s not offended because he doesn’t understand why it’s offensive, he said that himself.

You cherry picked tf out that. I just posted direct quotes. It does say women have a higher injury rate but not because the crashes are more severe as you tried to imply, which I just proved by simply posting what the link says. Give it a rest. Also, when men are driving without seatbelts and driving under the influence more often I think it also explains the fatality rates but those also make up being a safe and responsible driver.

Did you read all of it? Regardless men drive more recklessly so it’s not justifiable because you drive more when we are also looking at the behavior of men and women on the road. Edit: “Men have a higher likelihood of engaging in risky driving behavior such as not wearing a seatbelt, driving under the influence of alcohol, as well as speeding.” “Severe accidents tend to occur more with men than women.” “Females have a higher chance of being injured or killed in crashes that are equally severe, t…

I think everyone knows colored person is offensive. No one said being called black was offensive. Read. I said being referred to a “blacks” is. It’s a certain person who tends to use it in a certain context and that’s why. It always seems to be used when people are attributing bad qualities to our community and if you don’t understand and haven’t heard other black people express that same sentiment then you live under a rock, around self- deprecating black people, or you’re full of shit.

No boo, you are slow. I may not speak for all POC, but it’s well known in our community that it’s offensive. Not just to me. It’s not about me receiving special treatment. Meaning if a POC tells you “this is insulting to the people of the community” and you continue to say it, you don’t really respect said community. I feel like I’m on ELI5 right now. Do you get it now? If not let me give you an example. If you call me N**ger, you’re racist because it’s disrespectful towards black people in gene…

Black people don’t have the standing to be racist but we can be prejudiced. We have never and will never oppress white people. I don’t have children. I don’t trust white people with all my heart but it doesn’t mean I hate them or can’t coexist with them. It’s a fact that black women have higher maternal mortality rates due to racism. It’s a fact that a majority of people who lose their job and then go home and have a pity party before killing their whole family is white men. It’s also a fact tha…

You probably shouldn’t say “we acknowledge that you’re useless at driving” then because driving quite obviously encompasses more than parking. Edit: Yeah white women aren’t my demographic so that’s none of my business. They fall right behind white men and I don’t trust them either.
/r/MensRights14/11/23 02:11 AM

That’s a big claim that needs some stats to back it up. No shit children are at a higher risk, they’re more vulnerable, what are you trying to argue here? The issue is that men are often times the perpetrators. Why would we possibly give violent people access to the safest area near a building instead of those most vulnerable (women and children) because we know that the mom usually takes the child out with them more so than the father.
/r/MensRights14/11/23 02:09 AM

There you go with the “blacks” again even after a POC told you it’s racist terminology lol. It’s not “discrimination” to make areas more safe for weaker people who at a higher risk for violence aka women. The area doesn’t say men cant exist there, walk through there, drive through there. It’s literally just a few spots they can’t park in. I’m a nurse, it’s not rare. And every time a woman gets pregnant she risks her life, we don’t know who’s going to survive and who’s not. Especially for WOC. Do you even know maternal mortality in America because I wrote my thesis on it, so let’s not. I never said women don’t have a responsibility but it’s biological fact that women can’t get pregnant without sperm… making the primary at fault you Ofcourse. Either you decide to cum in them which is blatantly your fault or you can’t control where you cum which is also your fault. Solutions to both require you having some self restraint. It’s simple. I was being kind by assuming libido because surely you weren’t saying that women’s peak fertility was 21. Sexual peak could mean anything. Sexual desire, fertility, attractiveness? Sexual means a lot of things. Be more specific if you want people to understand you.

My statement is dumb? Lol take some accountability for where you dump your load. Like y’all are grown ass men looking for a way to blame women when YOU cum in THEM. Like I said, outside of sexual assault there’s no excuse. If you can’t control where you cum, don’t have sex. Are you some horny adolescent boy who can’t control himself? If so, wait til you can and then have sex because jfc this is wild.

No, I’m saying that they look like they are younger than they are or they look even better than when they were in their 20’s, aka, the glow up. Women actually look younger without makeup and filters. We aren’t talking about women in their 40’s and up, makeup actually ages women via contour. As we get older we lose fat in our cheeks and eyelids giving us sharper structures. This is what makeup does for women nowadays.

The only time women control where you cum is when men are sexually assaulted. Other than that she can tell you to cum in her all day long, it’s up to you to say no. Have some self control. Don’t listen to her. Problem solved. You can control your own dick.

Can you link said studies? I ask because women now in there thirties are appearing younger so men would not be able to tell simply by looking at them that they are in their 20’s. Do you have any stats that you can post proving these claims? I have studies that can show why women are not the ones who work longer hours but I’ll go ahead and tell you why. The reason that women don’t work longer hours is because it is frowned upon by society, and we are seen as unhealthy caregivers, because we are essentially “choosing our job over our children“. How so?

Yes, everyone should be honest about what they want out of a relationship no matter how serious it is. I do still believe that it is the responsibility of the person who has a certain expectation to bring that topic to the table. If I expect marriage I’m not going to wait for you to tell me you don’t want it and expect/hope for it in the meantime.

Is it living in fear or taking basic safety precautions? I don’t wear a seatbelt because I’m fearful of getting launched from my car but I’m aware of the risk and decide to minimize those chances. When I see a snake outside I’m not fearful of it but I don’t go near it because it may or may not bite and I’m not willing to take the chances. Life is a game of chances in a way and there are chances women simply aren’t willing to take. I guess I don’t understand comments like these because when women…

Something can be a legal process that has its own meaning outside of that. The two are not mutually exclusive. Would you mind genuinely explaining to me how it is one-sided? I just feel like nowadays you can make any contractual adjustments you wish for a marriage. Also, I don’t believe you’re an incel for not wanting marriage, that’s simply absurd. I think the only time it could be considered emotional manipulation is when the man agrees and keeps putting it off for xyz reason, but at the end o…

I wish we would hop off of this trend where people suck because they don’t want the same things you do. Men don’t owe women marriage and women don’t owe men sex. Women should not have to tell you before going out that they don’t want to have sex as it assumes that you getting laid is the default. If it’s important for you to have sex that night, you should be forthcoming about your expectations. People date to see if they are compatible and some may want to be life partners, others want to marry…

Wow this is such a paranoid way of thinking. Just because it doesn’t hold value to YOU anymore doesn’t mean it doesn’t still hold spiritual or religious value to others. It sounds perfectly reasonable for you to break up if it’s important to her and not to you. It’s really that simple, everyone on both sides make it dramatic as hell.

Present concise issues without pointing the finger at women or feminists. Yes, holding women accountable who try to invalidate the movement should be done however, knowing where the ideas that are oppressing certain rights come from will allow more people to be less defensive and actually listen to you. There aren’t any feminists that invented the draft, invented stereotypes that prevent men from getting their children in a divorce, give men longer prison sentences for murder, etc.

Yeah, I’ve never agreed with the draft period. How can our government uproot our lives and send us to fight a war we don’t want any part in? We all matter. We all have family, friends, goals, ambitions. We are all humans just trying to fucking make it and many of us don’t want to die over resources and big fucking egos on a bloody battlefield. I’m a woman but either way I wouldn’t be doing that shit.

Honestly, no one should be drafted and women should be able to have abortions. Why is this a competition? We are all getting fucked. ESH.

You guys are the only ones complaining about this change, idk what you want me to say? We know that many guys don’t want to do their fair share, we know that many just want wives for the convenience of having a free maid and consistent sex. That’s why we are divorcing them. It’s less stress and less free work that we are doing. Your whole comment is just further supporting the feminist movement. If men want a maid, then yeah you should pay for one… that’s good. If they want to hookup with random…

Well how about instead of guessing or theorizing you actually come up with some evidence of these claims? You’re the one trying to make some asinine point. A point which is so far removed from the comment I replied to. This doesn’t prove that women initiate divorce in order to screw men over and while I’ve provided statistics backing these claims you’ve yet to do anything but try to make comparisons of who pays more in a relationship. If you don’t have some actual evidence, stop wasting my time …

What sense does that make? Did you find any proof of this or just pull it out of your ass? A woman is not nearly as costly as children or emotional labor. And considering that women are spending more on children (daycare, diapers, food, sports, etc) there is no way that it “balances out”. Like are you seriously wasting my time with this?

I never pushed that men couldn’t, just that many of them don’t. I pulled the newest statistics from reputable sources, if you didn’t look into them, that’s on you. You think I’m describing Wonder Woman, but statistically and even anecdotally (not that this matters to you) this is the reality for many women. The wonder women choose these men because they fail to reveal that they suck until they are married and think women are stuck with them.. hence the divorce rates. Women aren’t ashamed of it a…

I’ve listed specifics. Obviously classifications within a study can be manipulated to achieve certain results, however there are countless other studies (such as the one listed below) that list what specific tasks are considered “housework” and they still show that women perform a majority of them despite also stepping up the most as a childcare giver and making the same amount of money or more money than their husbands. https://www.today.com/today/amp/tdna172272 To add to your comment, the spec…

Try actually reading the sources on the site genius. I literally found the same information on three different sites but thought it would be redundant to share that here. The information included is literally pulled from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics lol the sources of the gathered info on that site are legit. Did you actually even read it?

I did. That’s why you are being downvoted. Often times people on this sub would rather not take the time to discuss why they do not agree or what they do not understand. They would rather get upset about your comment and downvote it.

Agreed. Most of the time posts like this are simply using these situations as political and sexist props. It’s actually more disrespectful than they think women in the US are being.

How is that relevant to the current discussion? We are currently discussing the false belief that women mostly divorce men for their money. If anything this would explain why women would want to stay with men, not separate from them. Also, nothing you just said negates any of the information I provided. Please provide statistics that are relevant to the current discussion or stop wasting my time.

Do you have any stats to actually back up these claims. You sound bitter tbh. Most women who want divorces are toxic? That makes sense and doesn’t sound gaslight-y at all. The only people who believe this many people/women to be as miserable as the women you describe in your post are those who are actually that miserable. Divorce is difficult. It’s always seen as a failure and is rarely accepted as healthy or normal by society so where is this even coming from? This day and age women don’t need …
