Let me tell you what's going to happen to you here. I've seen it happen before and if you're not careful, it'll happen to you. You've met a girl, she's hot, and she's into you. This is pretty cool. Unfortunately, based on your description, she's garbage and isn't worth having a relationship with. You know this, you've alluded to as much, but you're feeling confident in yourself and you think that you'll just get into a relationship and see what happens. You're alpha, you're learning, she'll chan…

It is for a minute, then it gets very old, very quickly. Then eventually once you're really good it's fun again, but that only lasts for a minute and then the entire thing is kind of gross. My experience at least, it comes in waves.

They're out there. With any culture, there's ALWAYS a counterculture.

Your close male friends should care about your feelings. That said, that's a privilege they're extending to you. Don't take advantage of it by drowning them in a river of whining or self pity.

There's an expression that's been floated around here that sums this up nicely: women are like water. That jives well with what you just wrote.

This isn't lying, because you aren't expecting anyone else to believe it. It is, however, a textbook case of deflection.

In most fields, college isn't much more than regurgitating whatever the professor or TA wants to hear or see. Maybe it's different in some of the STEM related areas.

You can't if you don't fuck drunk women before you know them. In 2019, thats a very dangerous place to put yourself in. We can complain all we want about how it isn't fair, but the rules of the game are what they are.

I don't have one, but if you have audible you can use a credit on it. Basically his point is that it's a very nuanced situation where two people were trying to navigate both consent, which is hard enough on it's own right given there's no universal definition, and alcohol, which puts you in a state of myopia where you prioritize short term gratification over long term priorities. Couple that with a situation where no one could have been a reliable witness (because they were all ABSURDLY drunk), …

The new Malcolm Gladwell book takes a really interesting look at this case. It's worth a read/listen.

Are you in shape? Are you confident? Can you realistically defend yourself in a fight? How's your style, do you dress well? How's your social value? Being short is a negative so you're really going to have to max those other areas out.

Stand up straight with your shoulders back. Speak from your diaphragm. Have confidence that what you're saying is valuable and correct. Don't cheapen your words by talking too much.

This is a bad analogy. Masturbation typically reduces your ability and desire to have sex. I find that watching other people compete is beneficial for my own martial arts competitions.

Don't argue. State your opinion (you aren't a feminist), if pressed state a neutral opinion (I don't favor one sex over the other) and then move on with the discussion. If pressed, state that you don't want to argue about it, that should end the conversation. Anyone who continues to push forward against that is going to look crazy. They might now like you, but there's not much you can do about that. Don't argue. It's rule number one in HTMFAIP for a reason.

You're going to see a lot of gains in your BJJ game if you start hitting the gym too. Try to find time for both. I can stack a lifting session onto a BJJ class if I don't roll too hard. I'd give that a try.

They're called unicorns because they don't exist. Remember that. Thinking you're going to go out and just magically find your unicorn is dangerous thinking because it'll lead to putting someone on a pedestal and, eventually, an extremely unhealthy relationship.

I think the Rodgers thing showed money is hilariously overrated. It's not about cash. It's about status. Don't confuse the two.

As someone who's been here for nine months or so, that's been the concern since I showed up and we've double in size since then. They've shown they can handle it. That's one of the big pluses here, we trust the people in charge and deliver strong content regardless rather than bitching about it.

There's likely zero attraction there. She can likely hardly tolerate whatever sex they're having, much less a threesome. That and there's likely zero dread game in effect. If she had to have threesomes to keep him around, she probably would but you know he isn't man enough to make that happen.

She'll get a stupid teenager pass. She's 14. I do find it interesting she went straight for her sex and not her age though. Oh wait, not interesting. What's the exact opposite of that? Right, predictable.

If it makes you feel better, once you're on your deathbed its all shit either way and it doesn't really matter what you've done previously, other than the legacy you leave. And that hardly matters. So if you had to work to leave something good behind then you're alright.

Hit the gym, dress better, and start incorporating dread game into your life. If your SMV goes above hers and she feels other women are a viable threat to her she'll be tripping over herself to please you.

Experience is never wasted time. There are going to be lots more hot girls, and if you put in the work, you'll do just fine when you're read. The sea is truly teeming with fish. Dont get caught up on the ones you arent catching while you're still learning how to fish.

Never argue. You're either going to win the argument and make the other person resent you for it or you're going to lose the argument, look foolish, and the other person is still going to be riled up.

This article seems a little misguided, but there's definitely some merit to some of the points. A true alpha knows when its time to let someone else take charge because they're the right person for the job. I do see a lot of people who want to assert themselves into every conceivable situation and, though its admirable to a degree, it can backfire and ultimately is a pretty good showing of insecurity. I don't know if douchey is the right word, but its a fair critique.

She's just look for external confirmation that what she did is right. That's pretty standard for anyone. I mean, she's obviously a shitty person, but who isn't?

She's selfish, but I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing.

Go watch the movie "Bullitt" starring Steve McQueen. This is probably the best theatrical example of an alpha male that doesn't stretch over a several movie period to build the character.

I'm a big believer in the 48 laws of power (a must read) and one of the laws is to create compelling spectacles. The book discusses the use of imagery and symbols to make oneself stand out or appear memorable, and I think fashion plays into this a lot. Fedoras etc. are obviously all garbage, but accessorizing correctly (watch, belt, shoes, pocket squares, scarves) will make you stand out. I'm currently working this in, but I think it could be a huge move.
