This amorphous "the patriarchy" thing that doesn't even fucking exist is the anchoring principal of modern feminism. It's a problem that cannot be solved because there isn't any actual enemy. So the enemy is "men"

Toxicity.

Toxic masculinity isn't even a thing. Affixing gendered language to something that isn't a gendered issue is part of the problem.

If you want to go somewhere women aren't allowed to go, I imagine your bedroom is a good place to try. What the fuck kind of comment is this? Resorting to this shit means you don't actually have a coherent reason why men don't also deserve their own space.

Well then humor me and answer some questions. 1- What's your opinion of MGM (aka "circumcision") 2- what do you think about the drafting of males only into military service against their will? 3- Any thoughts on the male suicide rate being 4x that of women? 4- How about men making up over 90% of workplace deaths? 5- Men consistently get harsher sentences for the same crimes as women. Why do you think this is? We already know the canned feminist responses to these questions - I'd like to know wha…

I'm not interested in disingenuous dialogue. If you did even a tiny bit of looking you would see discussion is actually fairly common here and different points of view are often discussed. Where you're missing the boat is you decided to take a mocking know-it-all approach, and you're being responded to in kind. People who have been legitimately hurt by the current political and social conditions do not respond kindly to being mocked.

It is nothing like 4B. 4B is a political movement designed to punish men for making choices. MGTOW has nothing to do with relationships or women - it's focus is on individual improvement. MGTOW men can be and are in relationships, but their primary focus is on improving their own lives. Some do eschew relationships completely as they feel it's impossible to focus on the self while also dating. Like everything else in life MGTOW is not a hive-mind.

I will not burden anyone else with my emotional baggage. My emotions are mine, and they are my problem to deal with. If the women in my life dealt with their own emotions the same way I'd have a fuckton more time to deal with my own shit. A lot of men are a dumping ground for their partners emotional overflow so they have to process two or more people's emotions, and it's exhausting. Why would we inflict that onto others? Women are more emotionally intelligent my ass.

Absolutely. I have 2 cars, stepkid has one. I have a weekly routine of checking oil, window washer, tire pressure, and for my 2, gas level. Topping off fluids and making sure tires are where they're supposed to be is a non-trivial task due to the amount of driving we all do (3-5000 miles per month). Catching problems early and fixing them keeps things from getting more expensive so it's worth taking the time. I know where you're getting at with this question. Corporate America has been adopting liberal policies of "diversity by exclusion" for years. Something that should not be a zero sum game has been forced into being a zero sum game. These companies push "diversity, inclusion, and belonging" except for you, whitey. Sit down.

I don't have a "lot" I have the ability to comprehend strings of words and derive their meaning. An ability you clearly lack. So just shut up with your obtuse, off topic rantings.

Its not hubris to think discriminating against one class of citizen to benefit another is dangerous and wrong. If you reverse the genders and a policy somehow becomes abhorrent, it was wrong in the first place. It's like you're focused on a word and completely ignoring the context.

Wow. You know you got a negative reaction because many of us are abuse victims, right? Have you even considered that it has nothing to do with you being a woman? No, because you're blinded by a ridiculous ideology. All compassion for men has been squashed. The only reason you care about this situation is because it involves your own flesh and blood. And that's really awful. And this comment, right here, is why feminists are not trusted in this sub. You're acting like a fucking victim on Reddit w…

Why is he still with the goddamn lunatic? Step one is to leave the situation, abandoning all his shit if he has to. Unfortunately the Duluth model puts him at high risk of being blamed for his own abuse. This is damaging to his body and his mind. Absolutely perfect example of how damaging feminism is to men. The police will place the blame on him, and he feels he can't get away. What a cluster fuck.

/r/MensRights15/03/19 12:52 AM

People aren't a hivemind. I think universal healthcare would be an absolute disaster in the US. You really need to look no further than the VA to see that. The current system is also broken. But people aren't fucking dying waiting for care like the VA. I'm also an atheist, support gay rights, think churches should be taxed, and believe research in green tech needs to be prioritized. So in short, take your narrow worldview and shove it.

I was in the same boat, put my career advancement (and turned down a 6 figure salary) and started working nights for the sake of my children. No such concessions from my wife. Which is fine, at least one of us have been advancing. That is, until now. I just accepted a management position. It's time to start moving up and advancing again. I have never stagnated in my career in my life, except for these past 6 years. I'm done with that, it was torturous.

That was covered a few weeks ago by another article, written by a woman, that stated she is no longer hiring women. The main points were they were catty, gossipy, whiny, hight maintenance, and less productive than the men in her employ. I can't find the thread though, because I'm bad at the internet.

The fact only 52% of primary care for partners are women is odd to me, considering almost all workplace injuries are to men. I'd think that would be higher. Seems like a very strange stat to put in there, also considering polling margin of error is typically ~3-4%

My stepdaughter once accused me of having manflu...while I had a 102 fever. I just wasnt feeling up to fixing some damn thing she can fix herself. So I told her if she wants to bring some misandric feminist claptrap into my house she can feel free to use her empowerment to fix the damn thing herself. It went unfixed, and she never said anything resembling it again. I hope it was a rare case where a potential convert was saved before the brain virus took hold.
