It could be less attached women or women with some other emotional baggage like to sleep around more. Which the same women are unlikely to stay in a LTR. It could be the act of being promiscuous ruins attachment. Graduate schools for STEM fields actually pay you a decent stipend in most places. Usually at least $22k or more depending on the state. So you don't usually rack up additional debt.
