You never felt threatened, don't lie. In fact, I'd wager that if you live in the US you were probably signed up before you knew you had to be. Which is another issue entirely but don't sit there and act like you were being threatened to fill out the form. I know what subreddit I'm on, I can't win this argument, especially after looking at your comment/post history. I hope whatever situation you're in that causes you to act like this improves.
