She wants Baby Boomers only? Most are retired or getting ready to retire. What about Gen X? While it’s pretty dumb (and abusive) that the boyfriends want to hang around, the hiring manager is not the brightest either.

Men can’t hit the wall because their beer bellies function as padding and the bald heads become too reflective with lighting around them that they get blinded. But seriously, everyone gets old. Men at 40-50 are nothing special.

Despite the obvious, he isn’t ready to date. Not with his “looking for friendship, something casual, long-term relationship.” That translates to let me stick my dick in you and “let’s see what happens” BS.

I have not seen this, but I believe it. When he was just becoming famous, I saw him open up for NIN at Roseland in NYC. I was with my sister and somehow we got into the backstage area after the concert. If anyone knows Roseland back in the mid-90s, there was that bar area off the side of the stage. I was 17 and have no idea how I got there, but my sister was older and both of us just wanted to meet Trent because we loved NIN. Anyway, Trent never showed up and it was just MM trying to get as many…

You didn’t mention the gross comment he made in your OP. Your post was removed anyway. This is not internalized misogyny. I don’t go around being an asshole to everyone to their face for no reason.

Maybe mention in your post how he was impolite. You make it sound like you gave him your look because he said hi. It’s a gas station, not a job interview, lol.

Exactly! This sub is how to date and vet for HVM, not to humiliate the LVM who approach us in a polite way. This isn’t an FDS post. It makes us look like bitter MGTOWs.

Yes, I do the same. OP how exactly did he approach you? I’m a little confused by this post. I’m not going to humiliate someone if they approach me and are obese in a polite way. But if they start with something like “hi, beautiful“ or some shit like that, then I’ll just walk away. If they continue, only then would I do what OP did.

The fact that women are the product and that they all have a clause in their terms and conditions that they take no responsibility if something happens. And when you do report something, the app does NOTHING. I hope women leave these apps soon. The entitlement from men who think they get sex from it is disgusting.

She sounds Australian. Unfortunately, I was married to an Australian and they can be incompetent. Mine couldn’t even take his dirty tissues out of his pockets when I did his laundry. I gave him a few chances, but he basically told me to check his pockets. No. I stopped doing his laundry. Thank God I’m not married to him anymore.

She’s not eating sugar, then get her something that means something to her. That’s the bare minimum. This has nothing to do with a flat tire. IMO, a man asking for money is an automatic red flag, even in marriage. I had a (older 🚩) boyfriend ask me for money so he could pay his rent. I lent it to him, but I made a written contract. He asked me for money on the last day of our relationship and it turns out he had a gambling problem. We dated for years and I had no idea. I was also a dumb 22-year old. I broke up with him that day because I was making good money, even if I was still studying. I had two casual sex partners and they both a…

Yes, Queen. I get this. They are trying to alleviate their guilt, but when you get to talking with them, they are so broken. I’m not here for a project and I make sure of that and tell him to get better therapy. But at this point, he is so alone and I think I’m about to go no contact. I just can’t do it anymore. I mean it’s great that he pays for lots, can take care of himself, gets therapy, and actually cares (but not to my standard), but I just can’t anymore. And no judgment on you. We are all…

He has tried really hard with therapy and we have done work together in therapy, but it just isn’t working. It isn’t even a sex situation either. he can take care of himself, but he is a very broken person and I don’t play therapist to him. I have this problem. It improved when I became a teacher. I just have my teacher face now and say things inside my head to myself. Then I work on having a neutral face while I think of what to say. Or to give me more time, I ask them to clarify what they mean, to further prevent a face. Or at other times I’ll just turn to the board or pretend to look for a pen or something. I teach adults, not kids, if that makes any difference.

Women are conditioned to accept “but he’s just a man” excuse. My ex (thank god) MIL tried this BS on me. She would constantly remind me that he’s just a man and I’ll save myself a lot of problems if I just do X,Y, and Z. 🤣

Your gut is correct. Please leave him. If you are sad after (and there are a lot of emotions after it even if you wanted it) he will not support you and probably say something like “you made this decision.” I went through a termination with my ex-H and he coerced me. I never got over it.

He said once something like, he caught himself doing things because he thought they would please me (and if he didn't then I would reject him), not because he wanted to, thus becoming resentful. So he had to double check he was actually doing something because he really wanted to. I was just...??? Man, had I known about avoidant attachment then! I just wanted to add, that there is a fine line between avoidants and covert narcissists. Things can blend very easily. There is also the two types of avoidants. The dismissive ones are the ones who often say “Let’s see where this goes.” I run from them. I’m past that point in my life. But if they express it in a secure way and not be anxious about it, then I can deal with that Because I’m similar, too. I got a kitten in addition to my other two cats I had at the time. The cat peed on him in bed. It was so frustrating that he was doing that and I couldn’t figure it out. He stopped. When my ex-H moved out and the kitten, a year old at that point, became full of personality instead of anxiety. I was afraid he just didn’t like men, but he was fine with the person I dated for a few years after ex-H. One of the two cats before getting the kitten loved my ex-H. My ex-husband was like this and whenever I would get annoyed at something he did in front of her, she would explain that he’s a man and that’s the way it is. I wanted to scream and yell, “Noooooo, it’s because you made him that way.” Part of this problem is the mothers who raise them that way. Not saying all mothers do this, but I’ve seen it a lot. My relationship after him was refreshing because he could do a lot of things on his own, like a normal human being. He was low-values in other ways (…

Because I was wondering how other teachers deal with this. I have to sign many things here that I am not indoctrinating students into things, such as far left or far right organisations, Scientology, etc. It’s a fine line. The last thing I need is for some student to complain because I wasn’t allowing his opinion to be heard, even though his opinion was not related to the task at hand.

Yeah, I’m not pulling him aside. I think that can lead to more trouble. I had this happen once before here. Some student wrote an essay about how the divorce rate is so high because of birth control pills and how it affects women or some shit like that. I, of course, rolled my eyes the whole time, but he used a blog for a source. I looked up the blog and he plagiarized whole sentences, so I failed him based on that. And a blog isn’t an academic source.

Yes, they are gold diggers. I am going through this now finding out that my ex-husband filed taxes without my consent AFTER our separation date. He took my tax credits to offset his own taxes so he could pay less, thereby taking my return away from me when I was able to decide for myself to do “married filing separately.” It didn’t make any sense to do that when I was married, but it did when we separated. I guess I did something similar in my last relationship. He wasn’t allowed to finish unless I said so. That got him off. Who knew? I think ‘no’ is gold. They hate it. I am currently looking for a roommate— a female roommate, my age and set in a career. I put an ad out with a firm “only women” in the title (the website is known in this country to be a good one for looking for roommates). The amount of responses I get from men applying is crazy. I have, unfortunately, so many moments of clarity, but one sticks out in my mind. I was dating a guy for a few months and I was set to go on a study abroad program to study a language for a year (with a nice partial scholarship). All of this was planned before I met him. So about two months in, he visited me. His luggage got delayed and I did the speaking, but I never encountered this situation as the language was still pretty new to me. This is a very good point. One of my main decisions to not have kids. I simply do not have it in me to care for a child and especially a special needs one. My cat died recently, and the last few years of her life were spent giving daily medicine, and towards the end, sub q fluids for her kidneys. True. It happened to me. LVX lived with his mother. Still does. It is a very weird situation. X has his own apartment. X states that his dad gave him the house and he owns that with his mother (I never saw the paperwork for this, but I do believe him in the way that he described the legal things for this). I agree. I seem to think it is only possible to accurately call a man “HVM” when they are dead. He should constantly be proving himself to you, and these high value traits are incredibly important to look out for in the start of a relationship, but it does not ease over time. My MIL would remind me that a “good wife” reminds her husband to call his family. 🙄 And a good wife also irons his clothes 🙄. How about what a good husband does? We divorced because he covertly coerced me to have a termination. Of course I had to keep that hidden, making me look like I was the problem, but I told them when we split. Apparently they were disappointed in him.

Thanks, I’ve been there before, so I’m a little familiar with the city. I’m in the heart of Bavaria now, so I’m looking to try the north. It can’t be worse than the south…

That line is a joke. That’s when I pull out Maslow’s hierarchy of needs and say, nope I don’t see sex listed there.

That’s not possible. Have you seen the YouTubers who coach men how to have a good profile? They really believe this stuff… Women need to get off OLD now.

It just shows how entitled men think they are to sex. Oh, she didn’t say no or psychically fight back? OK, then, I can have sex with her. /s.

Yes, I lived there and was married to one for over 10 years. I was surprised how stuck in the 1950s they are.

Really? Is it expensive there? I don’t know, but I think I would be a little freaked out if a guy stocked up on Plan B. That’s just me, though. I think that is where I draw the line. That should be my choice. But he should definitely pay for it. I had a really bad termination (coerced) experience, so I’m very sensitive about these things.

In my experience they will not allow men to purchase it. I’m in Germany.

You have To be careful if they say they will take you. That is covert coercion. It happened to me with my ex-H. He didn’t want to have it, but said he would support me. I said I wasn’t sure and I didn’t want to do either. I decided to have it and he was going along with it, but putting in his negative thoughts and opinions along the way. I lived very far away from my family at the time and he said that if I had the baby, I wouldn’t be able to see my family very much. He said a bunch of other bac…

Lately these days FB marketplace is becoming a dating app. Well a predator app at least. I am selling a few things on there and I get the “is this still available” message. I say yes and they ask for the address “give me address.” I say no and they can meet me at the local supermarket. Then no answer.

Same :(. It hurts. I think I’m a pretty great person. I’m tired of showing love to people and being treated like I’m an option. I’d rather just live alone and with my cats.

I had someone do something like this to me. I had hooked up with him previously because that is what I wanted and I liked him. Then he started that Let’s see what happens shit. So I said I want a relationship and he said he didn’t and I said goodbye. I got a message a few days later and he acted like nothing happened. I asked why are you messaging me? Oh, I’m just trying to be nice. BS. Then he asked for a few things like correcting his essay in English and ignored. Then this beauty a few weeks …

My exH and I had a very similar argument. I was (key word here) doing his laundry and he had a habit of leaving tissues in his pockets. I asked him to check his pockets for them and I would do his laundry. After the umpteenth time of finding tissues in the washer and dryer (it’s such a mess cleaning up), I got really angry (again) and he basically said that I should be checking the pockets. And that’s when I said he can do his own laundry from now on. That happened in the first year of marriage.…

There is no “truth” to that. There are no studies that say this is true, Rollo (like the chocolate) is talking out of his ass. He tries to sound important, but he’s just fake news. Yawn. Move along now.

Maybe you should get your Lexis correct. And I can easily sue you (in my country) for what you just called me. Watch it buddy. I got a screenshot and I’ll be sending this to my lawyer this week.

Giggling is a term usually used for children. The language used on this sub (giggle, playful, etc.) makes me sick. But I guess keep going on with your ways and picking up low-self esteem women to make yourself feel like an “alpha.” ROFL.

Don’t call me “hun.” Don’t YOU have anything better to do than go on MRP? I mean shouldn’t you be busy being a “man” and using your time wisely? Or maybe go and treat your wife like shit? I mean that’s what you do anyway.
/r/MarriedRedPill07/04/18 03:08 PM

Women don’t “giggle”. If you are going to be consistent and refer to women as children, which is just wrong, then why do you use AWALT? Shouldn't it be AGALT? You guys are a sad excuse for “men”.

I don’t even understand what you mean here. Take a look at the childfree sub. There are a lot of women who do not want children. Not all women are pre-programmed to want children. This sub seems to have ideas that all women want certain things and that’s just not true.
/r/TheRedPill19/03/18 08:58 AM

Uh OK. I answered the question. I’m not childless. I’m child FREE. I chose NOT to have children. Gives me more time to do other things. It’s not a waste of time and energy. Again, I use this stuff (RP) for research. I hardly consider doing a PhD a waste of time. Post “wall” to you boys, yes you are boys and not men, means a woman that actually has a brain. You can’t manipulate her post “wall.” That’s why you choose the young ones. You will never be men. You can sit there and swallow the pill, bu…

I’m not a man, but I understand what you mean when you say the parents were lenient. My siblings are 11 and 7 years older. It not a huge age difference, but it’s noticeable. I mean I was making my own eggs at 5 years old. My mom would just put me up to the stove and say OK do this. This was actually good for me, though. I can now cook tons and I do believe in cooking for your man. I’m about twice your age, but trust me, it will all come together. I moved overseas, learned a new language, and hav…

Do you mean me? I just find the whole concept curious/interesting. I find the whole alpha thing interesting, although I’d never date an alpha. I need someone with emotions. As a woman, I’m not going to have sex or give anything to a man unless they give me emotions. I’m going through a really, really rough divorce right now, and I’m starting to realize how my ex was and I find that the threads here say how my ex was a jerk. He’s taking me to court for everything (no kids, don’t like them, but ta…

Ok, first off I hate this sub, but I feel I need to comment on this. It’s not really blue pill, but it’s more psychology. You are 17; that’s life at 17. You just cannot relate to your parents. What kind of family did your dad come from? You need to think about that. My dad came from a really rough family, and I know he did the best he could. Also life is really difficult as you get older. People die, there are financial problems, etc. etc. When you start getting older, you start really thinking …

This is awful advice. What’s the point of even making this post? It’s not clear if you are talking about living abroad or just traveling (you mentioned ESL teaching). Yeah a good pair of shoes helps, but nothing makes an American stand out more than his sneakers. It’s like you just discovered how to travel, and are posting this after the fact. I am really laughing out loud here!

Are you excited that your (or someone else’s) Mom looked at you with wet panties. That’s kind of messed up. Who cares? You went to an engagement dinner, and you had an interaction. Blah, blah. Move on. Women don’t have “bad” behavior. They are people. Sorry to tell you that, but it’s true. Get a clue.

If you are at the grocery store, then notice what she is putting into her basket. Ask her what she’s making. That will spike her interest. Don’t go to bars if you don’t want to. Picking up there results in empty communication. I’m a woman; I know these things.

Daves’s ESL Cafe is pretty much dead, so bad recommendation. You can go and get jobs in EFL teaching, but you will make NO money. I strongly suggest business English. Japan is a horrible place to work for an English teacher. They will abuse you. I highly suggest doing ESL in Australia (although that changed with the fall of GEOS) or Canada. Celta is good, but I never did it. I got my degree in TESOL (M.A.), and was able to put that to a lot more use and make more money at Unis. I’ve been doing t…

You had a crush on her. She didn’t like you. Get over it and move on. The same thing happens to women, too. It’s not about respect. It’s about the fact that you are probably 20-25 and that’s life.

The there you go response would make me want to leave. I don’t think that you guys seem to understand that there are a lot of intellectuals (with a lot of education) who want a discussion. Maybe treat women like they have brains and do your PUA stuff after. It just won’t work otherwise.

In American high schools, one learns intro, body, and conclusion. The summary should be in the conclusion in some shape or form. I teach in Germany (English academic writing; native speaker), and I have noticed differences between Anglo and German (or European style) writing. No one on this sub can write very well. I read this sub to get examples of how not to write. My classes have great fun with it.
