I could but our version of libertarians are rabidly anti-left and would sooner feed the poor into a wood-chipper than give them any "handouts" whatsoever. They also see no problem with mass-immigration to drive down labour costs to undermine the unions. In fact, of all the causes I mentioned, our libertarians support none of them. I think we're facing much the same problem as the US conservatives were when the religious nutter right-wingers took over the republican party during Reagan and Bush Sr. We've become voters without a party. As a somewhat left of center voter myself, my main causes are labour rights, consumer rights, Peelian principles in policing and incarceration and a more restrictive immigration policy focusing on helping refugees and maintaining a functioning welfare state.
