He's an antisemite, and puts Jews like myself in danger. Fuck him

This is going to sound a bit Freudian in nature but most of the women I've been attracted to have looked and acted in a similar manner to my mum. My mum has dark hair and Ashkenazi Jewish features and most of the women I've been attracted to are women with darker hair and darker skin. So there's probably some truth to the biological imprinting theory of mate selection.

Admittedly I don't know. That's just what I was taught in my Uni's psychology class.

Both can be true at the same time. In general we prefer to date people who are in good health without any obvious signs of injury or disease. Sexual dimorphism matters too since depending on your sexuality and/or gender you prefer people to have either masculine or feminine physical features. However there is wide variation when it comes to the physical looks of individuals in good health and the features we perceive to be feminine or masculine.

I think that it would be weird to develop a crush on a violent criminal regardless of gender or physical attractiveness of the criminal.

It's sub making fun of people who pretend to be (x) in order to justify racism/sexism/prejudice against (x).

Rigid patriarchal norms. From what I've heard rates of homosexual and bisexual attraction are much higher among women than men (including allegedly "straight" women) but the pressure to be accommodating to the heterosexual desires of men are much higher on women. As a result a lot of "straight" women aren't actually straight. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.bbc.com/news/health-34744903.amp

What I don't understand is that if women are terrified of men (as a lot of women are) and have had traumatic dealings with men in the past (as a lot of women have) how could women be sexually attracted to men? I can't imagine being attracted to the very group of people who are likely to degrade, harass, injure, and potentially murder you. Most murderers of men are men, most murderers of women are men. Women take on a lot more personal risk to their safety to be in a relationship with a guy than …

Women have flirted with me in the past but I'm not sure why they did so. I have my suspicions that they did it because they wanted to make me feel better about myself, not because they were attracted to me.

Yes. As a man I've often wondered whether women can truly be attracted to men or whether they're just pressured into heterosexuality by the patriarchy. Men can be good looking sure, but I don't understand why anyone would fall in love with us.

The fixation on women/being in a relationship as a cure for their feelings of inadequacy is also part of the problem as well. This idea that women are comforters, motherly figures, de facto therapists etc is so common and engrained into our society that we men often forget that women are individuals too and that they don't necessarily want to comfort and console every man who feels inadequate and unwanted. Dating is not a good substitute for professional therapy and even while in relationships p…

Incels are often also shorter than average men who are obsessed with the perceived deficits of being shorter than average.

You're not wrong. Though I've never considered myself an "incel" per say and have always been extremely uncomfortable with overt misogyny there was a dark period of my life where I considered myself completely romantically and socially hopeless entirely due to situations beyond my control and I was very committed to that hopelessness. I thought that I was romantically hopeless because I am an a socially awkward aspie with social anxiety and scars on my stomach from the various surgeries I've had…

It was an ok community but it focused on dating tips and social skills advice way too much at the expense of confronting misogynistic beliefs that fuel incel violence. Men who identify as incels shouldn't be dating anyone until they have successfully deradicalised and atoned for their past attitudes and behaviours because misogynists who enter into romantic relationships turn into domestic abusers later on.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
