I just watched the 2 videos cited above and can only say that I too have used ad hominem attacks and I think the apology is genuine. For me JPs analytical exploration of male and female psychology is spot-on. In particular I applaud his refusal to kowtow to political correctness and that is why I suggested the OP check it out.

I agree with this. Like I said I have been the 'iron fist' and my wife has been the 'best friend'. That dichotomy has sometimes strained our own relationship but all-in-all I think that our kids have stayed out of the ditches (so far) because of the roles she and I have played - sometimes unwillingly. I pity the single dads, not so much the single moms as they have made their choices (by their own behavior) to exploit society to their own ends. Obviously Im LateToMgtow.

As father to 2 girls (18 & 20), I think it is right that you can never win. I have been more of the latter (iron fist) while the wife has been more of the former (best friends). Both of them are good students and smart/attractive/strong.
