First of all, I don't hate feminism. I do however resent the majority of the people who visit that subreddit. My biggest issue is the ridiculization of anything other than women's issues. That /r/Feminism would be focused on women's issues, is to be expected. It's the main demographic. My issue starts at the behavior of claiming that anything not about women being wronged in some way, is of no importance, or even something to be ridiculed. Men face discrimination and harassment based on their ge…

The duluth model basically exists to blame men for everything. They claim it is evidence-based. And it is. It's just very bad evidence. Saying there's evidence doesn't magically make everything okay. The evidence needs to be collected objectively, without bias. If you're purposely picking out the cases that favor your point of view and leaving out everything else, that's pretty biased. And in the end, it doesn't help reach true equality. It is a system by which every bad thing a woman does, is u…

You can't really make a case against it. What would you say they are doing that is illegal? And can you prove it?

Know that line "look what you made me do" that abusive men use to justify their behavior? Imagine women using it to justify their abusive behavior. This training basically says that's okay. Double standard?

If they go and say "being drunk influences the choices we make", they admit it's their choice. They don't want that. They want it to be the man's choice, so that later they can claim the woman was not given a choice and it is therefor rape.

I do not. Things are more complicated than that. Entire libraries have been written about the details and nuances, and I'm not gonna write my own library on it just so you can get a satisfying response. That's the problem with these issues: nobody really has the time needed to solve them properly. And so they're always left unfinished.
/r/MensRights03/12/11 11:49 PM

To keep the hatred alive. Because that's all they know. Working towards and accomplishing a solution would mean the end of their crusade. And they don't want that.

Then you'll be looking at mind control. The simple fact is that we are all free individuals with our own thoughts and values. You can't simply tell someone they should be a certain way and expect them to give it up. That's saying their whole life up till now was a mistake and they should stop doing it. Not gonna go over well. As long as there is individuality, there will be too many different opinions to consolidate. If you want that narrow a path, get some mad scientist to create some kind of m…

"Have X believe that Y is secretly trying to oppress them" If you teach paranoia, you will get paranoia. And along with that comes hatred. If you want equality, you should teach equality. Not something else.

It is a drawing, based on the cartoon series: Sonic The Hedgehog. The situation in question shows Rouge The Bat(left), grabbing the naked chest of Shadow The Hedgehog(right), stating she has sensual intentions with him, showing no consideration for his choice in the matter. Shadow then berates her on this. It is relevant to this subreddit, in the sense that there are plenty of women whom think they can just do anything sexually to a guy without asking, while they would not like the situation if …

Don't be put of by all the numbers thrown in to the text. It's a scientific report, they're all references. TL;DR: Circumcision was associated with frequent orgasm difficulties in Danish men and with a range of frequent sexual difficulties in women, notably orgasm difficulties, dyspareunia and a sense of incomplete sexual needs fulfilment.

It's a bit of psychology: when one group gets a bunch of rights(or seemingly gets so), other groups automatically assume that it means they will lose some rights. As if it's some sort of water balancing trick, where you let water from 1 tank in to and other connected one, leaving one tank with less and the other with more. Stuff doesn't work that way. But it is a panic reaction.

"Sleep rape" does exist. It's a real psychological problem where men or women have are dreaming and their body acts out the sex they're having in their dream. The movements anyway https://secure.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/wiki/Sleep_sex

Men are the cause of everything bad. Women only do bad things because they're influenced by men. Therefor, a tax on being a man should exist. There should also be no prisons for women, just psychiatric help, all paid for by the male-tax. I'm not pulling this out of my ass here. A Swedish feminist part a few years ago actually proposed this.

There is not. In fact, hotels that make male-only floors will be sued out of existance by feminists

So what's this you mean by "let the bully know there's someone out there raping bullies"? Do you think all women are bullies? "The enemy", so to speak? Are you honestly suggesting it's something that shouldn't be stopped? What kind of message you think that sends to women in general? It sounds like you see this rapist as "their just reward", for some reason. You got a hate-boner for all women everywhere?

I'm not trolling you. Give me an explanation. Tell me what it is you mean. That too much to ask? It seems you just assume everyone who has a different idea than you is a troll. Is it really so much effort to acknowledge that other people have other opinions?

Real helpful of you to mention that.(sarcasm) Tell me then. How do you make the bully stop? Or are you just gonna sit in your chair and be angry over someone not agreeing with you?

Yeah, I see where this is coming from. It's blaming the victim. If someone attacks you because what you wear turns them on, you're not at fault. It's discrimination. By mocking feminists for being angry about this, we're going down the same slippery slope that has created the feminists we hate. The short-tempered, actively insult-seeking, paranoid people who live only for themselves and to make others miserable. Except now we'd claim to be purveyors of mens rights. Yes. It can. Of course it can. Why shouldn't it? Because you don't want there to be such ideologies? Does the thought of it make you feel bad? If it does, that won't change anything about the fact that they most certainly exist, and there exist people who create them. It would be very nice if they didn't. But things don't happen because they're nice or not. They happen because you make them happen, because you want them to happen. Everyone's different. Everyone's their own person. Individuality …

They're just cruel people, looking for a way out of punishment. Don't think women are dumb. You have your idiots and clever ones, just like men. They see how society works and attempt to use it in their favor. Often I read that men don't do this, and that means women are smarter. That's a bad analysis. Society is systematically taking away the tools men have to defend themselves. Not by intent, but due to laziness. Judges and lawyers not wanting to bother with real research into women abusing me…

The preconceived notion that women are still being oppress exists. They revel in it, since it gets them special treatment. Every woman out there who has actually made it to the top on her own says it: most women just don't wanna put in the effort required to get to the top. The majority do work that has less risks to it and aren't willing to put in extra hours. This is a case of Dunning-Kruger on the side of Feminism. They believe they perform high-standard work and therefor deserve much more th…

The gist of the article: girls believe their abilities to be set in stone and when presented with something difficult, they assume they can't do it. Trying gets them frustrated so they give up.

Well then, why is the main motto of feminism that "all women are equal to men"? In general, to say that "All of A is equal to B", there's the assumption that A was or is considered less by some group. This statement is then used to try and change that, perceived or not. I believe that the majority of women view men as inferior, lesser beings. I believe this because I have experienced it, both in personal life as in that of others, seeing it popularized on television, reading it in novels, seeing…

You would've liked to, but you didn't. And that's good. Posting it here might not have been a good idea though. If their lawyer(are there lawyers?) does a decent background check, they'll find your profile here and this post. And they'll quote you on it. Be prepared to counter that. There is a difference between wanting and doing. If anything, the fact that you didn't shows self-control and the ability to keep a cool head, which are very good qualities in a father. It is a crime against the child. It's mutilation, period. The only people to whom this is actually helpful, is for men who wash their penis once every month. Once you get to that level of filth, you might get a medical condition. People who actually raise their children to wash and shower daily, won't have this problem, and this it won't be needed. "But everyone does it" isn't an excuse. It's mutilation, and there can be no excuse for it.

The law "should" protect men. The problem is that these laws must be implemented by the people who represent the laws: the police, lawyers, judges, members of congress, etc... The objective implementation of these laws is the rare exception, not the commonplace rule. Prejudiced opinions rule the courts and men are sentenced and stigmatized by all. And people call this normal. "Man up", is what you'll hear most. "Be a man and take it". No thank you. I'd rather be myself, not someone else's opinio…

Using the exact same logic as Miss Murphy: There are more men being sent on mission to Iraq to fight in the war. Therefor, women will be killed/wounded/maimed far less often while on mission in Iraq. Therefor, women dying/being wounded/maimed while on mission in Iraq, don't deserve the same caring and treatment that men do.

Checked the article, they don't mention any DNA having been found on the victim. I'll assume this has been found. Even then, they're not mentioning the gender of the DNA. Because that's the first and simplest thing DNA can show. Whether this has been found or not, this shows a lax attitude towards the official procedure of the investigation.

I don't see a problem with the status quo. I mean, the intent of the touch is what's important. If someone is touched unwanted, just saying "don't" or "moving too fast" is enough for the other person to take a hint. If they don't, that's forcing yourself on someone, and charges can be pressed. That's not something that has to be implemented, it already is. This is just being blown out of proportion because someone feels their wrong must be righted somehow.

You ridicule the statement and then claim the ridiculed version is what I intend to be the fact. That's called a "straw man argument". I myself did not mention lynch-mobs. Where do you get that from? I mentioned jury and court. In other words, an actual trial due to a person being accused.

People here don't seem to care if it is real or not. They care only that the word had been spoken The word "Rape" doesn't seem to be losing it's value at all. The fear is so great of being accused, that one believes no jury or court will be willing to hear the truth, but only lock up all those accused, even without proof. Such fears might be perceived, but that doesn't mean they're not there. And it also means they're coming from somewhere.
