Looks good! But in Russian, человек generally just means "person"; if you have the time it would be better translated as мужчина.

Speaking linguistically, the first quote is passive, which is often used when the subject is unknown or unimportant (Like this sentence - who uses it? People do, but that's not critical information now). So feminists can't stand such a grammatical construction, yet another example of how they change the language to suit their mentality.
