Are you married to all men who photograph buses, or just to one of them? Comments like this remind me that women—especially bloopers, which is most of them—are just incapable of intelligent thought.

You miss the obvious explanation: most women are in relationships with older men. I'm looking at some other data, and in the age group 25-29, the marriage rate for women (29.8%) is significantly higher than for men (16.5%). This suggests that women under 30 are disproportionally marrying men over 30. The same thing is happening in relationships before marriage, of course, it's just that we don't have official government data to confirm it. Homosexual relationships cannot explain these difference…

I think OKCupid allowed you to rate a person's photos at some point. The book isn't much more specific about the methodology. The book does mention that men set the age range in profile searches closer to their own age, and they tend to message people closer to their own age (but usually under rather than over their own age).
