Yeah this is weirdly true, cause I've been told that having a strong firm handshake means confidence and bs, so that's become my default setting. Every time I meet a new girl and shake hands with : My hand : Pleasure doing business with you. \Squeeze to assert confi-domi-nence.* And maybe that is why the offer only the finger and never the entire hand (nervousness causes end-to-end-clamp-palm contact) What they probably need is : Daintly softly holding the tips of the fingers they offer ?

I mean, I consciously decided to stop overthinking by living in the present and doing it anyway, else I'd spend way too much time in my head

so if i focus on not trying too hard to tell the story and just do it anyway, i should be relatively peaceful XD

Okay so, I've been trying to improve and work on myself and focus on living and enjoying life as it happens, in the moment, instead of overthinking and replaying scenarios in my head of what could've been possible if I had done or said something else in that moment. So while I'm living an exciting life, in my eyes, I would like to talk and communicate to people how exciting said situation is, cause it would be more interesting.

How do you tell a story, especially when you know that you're living your life wholly and completely?

Fuck it. Do it. But be subtle smooth. Thinking about what would happen later in case you guys had a bad break up, would need both of you to be together in the first place. (P.S. don't know if that made sense, tipsy soz XD)

Yes I've been going out and trying. But cold approaches are hard, and the women are so cold, I come home and Netflix.

Any and all feedback is very much appreciated cause communication is much much better than leaving me (21M) in the dark wondering where I messed up :/

I got over my approach anxiety and started to try and talk to women, strangers yes at different places. At the bay, the bar, the library, a store. But I think I'm doing it wrong cause, I usually (almost always) give a compliment and then ask if they would like to go out later. Is it a bit too much too soon? To me approaching a woman, is walking up to her. That means I've done the hardest bit. But after that I mess up, gloriously. Cause I don't know what to say, people on this sub recommend sayin…

The dad was right behind. So continuing to talk wouldn't have been an option lol

I was happy tipsy on my birthday, and I was at a club, I told this cute bird that she was cute. She goes "this is my mum". Entré left mum. I take a few steps back, "hello aunty" Aunty goes, "you can't tell my daughter that" "But I just said she was pretty" "NO!" I left cause I didn't want any trouble. I know she was concerned and everything, but I don't think I did anything wrong :/

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
