It's been pretty rainy here for a while, but overall it's nice. I much prefer it to the heat we had a few weeks ago. A nice way to end the summer, imo. U mad, bro? Don't act all righteous while simultaneously being completely hypocritical. I'm pretty sure that I never once denied any of those facts. There's actually a reason that I joined /r/MensRights - I pretty strongly believe that there is discrimination against men. What I disagree with is the fight for that discrimination to end being turned into an us vs. them mentality, which helps nobody and just hinders the arguments.

There was an inherent assumption that military wives as a whole cheat on their husbands and steal their money, and the fact that it was the most upvoted comment really says a lot about the general mood this reddit has taken. My comment was attempting to illustrate that those kind of comments should not be welcomed in a place that claims to value equality for both men and women. Um, I'm not disagreeing with the objection to the picture at all. I'm disagreeing with the notion that ALL women are unfaithful mooches that wait for a man's money. Some military wives have jobs, by the way. Some are completely faithful to their husbands and stay at home raising children. Not all are cheating whores as that comment would suggest. How about you read what I was commenting on instead of instantly reacting thinking that I'm disagreeing with the overall message.

By that argument, you could say that cutting a tongue tie is abuse. I'm not pro-circumcision, but I think "abuse" is taking it a little too far. Perhaps misinformed and perhaps even detrimental in the long term, but abuse implies a knowing intent to harm.
