3	Armed female assailant who had just robbed passengers in a public transportation bus got beat up and almost lynched in Mexico City I sort of see what you mean, but in most situations in other countries the woman would be given an off, or at least a lesser scentence for the crime she commited, but instead she got an angry mob beat her up.
