Crosspost from /r/depression: Finding a girlfriend is like a job application.I'm 22 and I usually target girls around 19 - 24. I live in a smaller metropolitan area, but I usually go out in Melbourne or one of the surrounding areas. I generally go for the indie rock type of look, crossed with a bit of night clubber. So usually I'll wear something like tight-ish black jeans, white shirt with some random pattern or picture underneath a (unbuttoned) collared shirt. High top shoes laced in bar fashion http://imgur.com/HtJMg.gif Explaining this doesn't do me any justice, from… | /r/seduction | 09/11/10 09:23 PM
Crosspost from /r/depression: Finding a girlfriend is like a job application.I've just always thought those books are a load of bullshit, and picking up any two books on the subject would result in contradictions. I will definitely check these books out. So far I go for more run of the mill technical books concerning social interactions usually on the subject of social science or psychology. | /r/seduction | 09/11/10 06:27 AM
Crosspost from /r/depression: Finding a girlfriend is like a job application. You'd be surprised. To me it feels like they're leading me on just for a laugh. I guess after reading a few of these posts I can see now that I'm probably building a wall between myself and the other girl, probably appearing uninterested in them or something. | /r/seduction | 09/11/10 06:22 AM

Crosspost from /r/depression: Finding a girlfriend is like a job application.I know I have a poor self image of myself, I get told by closer female friends that I'm not bad looking but I don't believe them (they're just saying it to be nice). You can only judge that sort of thing from other peoples actions I believe. | /r/seduction | 09/11/10 06:13 AM
Crosspost from /r/depression: Finding a girlfriend is like a job application.Never again. Those people will just put me on some sort of MAO inhibitor, which will work for 2 weeks then make me severely depressed. I've been there. | /r/seduction | 09/11/10 06:11 AM
Crosspost from /r/depression: Finding a girlfriend is like a job application.Well I went to see the band Kids in Cults, I'm extremely good friends with the lead singer. My intention was to see if she went to see any band in particular and why. I had no intention of name dropping the lead singer for this band or anything I was just interested to see if she was there to see them. The other guy just tapped her on the shoulder and before I knew it he was leading her out of sight. She seemed interested, well at least her smiles weren't fake. | /r/seduction | 09/11/10 06:09 AM

Crosspost from /r/depression: Finding a girlfriend is like a job application.I'm a computer geek, I enjoy mathematics but I also read a book a month (minimum). I go running and swimming down the beach just about every week but apart from that just the usual types of things like music festivals. | /r/seduction | 09/11/10 06:04 AM
Crosspost from /r/depression: Finding a girlfriend is like a job application. Most of the time I just go out with the intention of having a blast - If I see some girl who looks like she might be receptive to my advances I make the move - a standard play. I don't go on about the latest news and stuff. Usually I'll start it off like "Hey, I saw you from the dance floor - just sitting there do you want to dance or something?" I've had quite a few chicks come and dance after that, but nothing more. I'm probably missing something fundamental here. | /r/seduction | 09/11/10 06:01 AM
Crosspost from /r/depression: Finding a girlfriend is like a job application. My good friends get jealous when I go out with other people, I know I don't really fit in with them all that much anymore. This doesn't change the fact I'm still extremely good friends with them all. I like to think I'm not really that boring I don't see any reason why - I don't exactly go on about politics or my latest project - usually I'm just trying to break the ice when this type of thing happens. Rest assured - I don't go up to the hottest girl in the room and do this; I know I have absolu… | /r/seduction | 09/11/10 05:56 AM

Crosspost from /r/depression: Finding a girlfriend is like a job application.Generally I'm a very happy go lucky type of guy, I've had people describe me as having a Doctor Who type of vibe (hence the perception filter reference). I'm considered to be intimidatingly smart (but that doesn't concern be because bimbo's aren't my cup of tea). I've never been to a shrink to find out if I have depression, I don't loose sleep or any of that stuff; It'd probably be considered as just feeling a little bit blue. I never even considered reading a book about this sort of stuff. | /r/seduction | 09/11/10 05:47 AM
