If she does also cheat, then I agree. But only in-so-far as her ability to contextualise her feelings, i.e., to not let it disrupt our marriage. But as far as her ability to hide it goes I don't really care about that. Another man having sex with my wife does not phase me in least. Providing of course he treats her well and the sex was consensual (obviously). Although I doubt very much that she does cheat on me. My wife is not a very sexual creature, and as a result, sex does not occupy her mind…

If there is a problem with marriage beyond the clear anti-man bias involved with an inamicable divorce, then I do not see it. I see only benefits. I'm curious, can you tell me any other way that marriage isn't worth it? Any way other than "if you get divorced, inamicably so, then as a man it's going to suck". I'm especially interested in your opinion due to your flair.

I think cheating is dishonest if your SO assumes you are monogamous. I can't disagree. I have had to lie on several occasions. It does not have zero impact on my mental health, despite my attempts to reason that it ought. If you want to sleep around, you should, either open up your relationship or end it. I do not wish to end my marriage. Out of all the women I've met so far in life, my wife still remains the absolute best candidate. I am extremely happy with my wife, and with our marriage in ge…

Why the fuck did u get married? Because I believe there is real benefit to spending the majority of your adult life in the kind of relationship we call "marriage", i.e., having to learn how to live with someone else full-time (other than yourself), and learning how to support someone for the rest of your (or their) life. I believe that, at the end of life, I will be a better man for having gone through the trouble of marriage. Now don't get me wrong. I know the insane bias against men when it co…

How profound. Your sarcasm is based on the fact that I was attempting to be. I was not.

I'm gonna assume your moral compass wasn't always like this It wasn't, no. I started thinking for myself around my early teenage years. I think that as far as conventional and cultural wisdom goes, there may be little left in me now (I'm thirty two). How did you attain your own set of moral values There are two main reasons why I've come to categorise my behaviour as okay. The first is about the root of my impulses. Whenever I analyse myself, I'm able to factor-out this and factor-out that until…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
