13	Would this be considered a pick me mindset? I used to think this way when I was a pick me. When I stopped caring about or catering to the male gaze, I stopped wanting male attention all together. Especially while minding my business. Precisely this is the reason that my future daughters bedtime stories will NOT be fairy tale but instead will be Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls (100 Tales of Extraordinary Women) from Elena Favilli und Francesca Cavallo. I wished I would have grown up with stories about these brave women. It encourages little girls to be persistent, develop resilience and shows them auch women have contributed to shaping our world, among other things.
