Imagine being an Ukrainian man right now, women are leaving the country by the hundreds of thousands, possibly even a million now, while they are forced to stay and die. The women will most likely never return and now even if by some miracle they hold off the increasingly brutal Russian attack, they'll have to live in a country with a very significant amount of excess males. Grim, just fucking brutal.

This is a coping mechanism by aging women, they keep inflating their standards to elevate their sense of self-worth, otherwise they would go insane. They can't do what men do, look in the mirror and just say "Yeah, it's fucking over." They would collapse on the spot, so they have to conjure up this maladaptive daydreaming to cope with their situation.
