I'm barely an adult just almost 20, people make mistakes but you should forgive some of them not because they deserve it or for them , but for your own self and to move on . And also learn to let go of some things if u can't get over it because it hurts and holds u back a lot in life. I genuinely hope u also find your own peace, wishing u the best.

Nah I accepted it , because I was able to tell my mother to her face how she had negatively affected my past in detail , actually I'd say I've gotten over it by now since I don't hold a grudge for my past pains, and I still have a loving relationship with her.The rest of the "adults" are just fucking insane and I genuinely don't crave that validation and apology anymore I used to. Damn I just realised I've healed plenty mentally now.

I literally have trouble expressing my anger now , people walk over me and most of the times I'm just left stru…

Exactly why I'm scared to date and have close friends as i want the other person to be as emotionally invested in me as much as i am with them , having past experiences of people betraying these expectations have made me really close that door of opening up to the point i tell no one anything out of the fear of being betrayed and left depressed for a long time again.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
