Attractive women do give a shit about height. It becomes an issue when they can choose from a pool of taller men who share some of the other (same) attractive qualities of those shorter men.

5’6 is shorter than most attractive women. I’m a 5’8 female and 5’9 can even be a dealbreaker if the guy doesn’t have other redeeming qualities.

Thanks. I know that he’s a dead end. Unfortunately, my approach of holding out on sex until I’m exclusively dating someone hasn’t been successful so far. I’ve been on lots of dates and most guys are inpatient and will move onto the next girl if I decline sex for longer than a few weeks. This is particularly true among men I’ve met through OLD since there’s an abundance of options which promotes a why wait if you don’t have to mentality.

You raise a good point. I think I have lost perspective and become increasingly cynical following each dating failure. It would be ideal for me to meet someone who is looking to invest the time and energy to get to know me with the objective of longer-term dating, but the late 20s-early 30s cohort is tricky because there are a lot guys who aren’t looking to do the same.

Thank you!
