It's not a high standard men expect though. Men might be 'shallow' in what they're looking for on the surface (at least kind of) but ironically the amount of women who can meet that shallow demand is deep because the amount of women a man finds attractive is shockingly high compared to the amount of men women find attractive. On dating apps it must be at least 1/3 women that I'm interested in at least a bit, so our shallow demands have a very realistic chance of being met.

Supply and demand. Women want to hear how oppressed they are, they want to inject themselves in social justice activism, so the courses manifest. Universities are ultimately capitalist, never forget that

Most of this is nonsense. I'm taking kids out of the equation because really, the talking points around this don't require children; the nagging exists regardless. Not only do I know this from personal experience, but never do these talking points ever require children to be involved, just cohabitation between men and women. What the hell is anyone supposed to do about an upstairs neighbor? Like how is that under the umbrella of housework? Unpaid bills are not housework. Shopping is, but again, …

It's actually very easy, but that's beside the point. No talking points from online simps ever says communication is key, just talk it out so everyone's on the same page, they blame men for not doing things that, realistically, don't need to get done. Fuck that dumb shit

I'm not saying there aren't some benefits, but it's also fine to chill out and wait too. Your argument is really just the same benefits of staying in motion generally, which reduces stress and basically all forms of problems which might end one's life sooner. But no one gets nagged for not moving enough, they only get nagged for this very specific 'failure,' which again only benefits at most two people. I think it's fine to push back against this and let everyone know that, no actually, the hous…

More like they want to fill their calendar with household chores that benefit literally no one except her and her neuroses. Ain't no one coming over, why are we in such a rush to clean the house exactly? But of course because they want it done, there's no shortage of simps to assure everyone that men aren't doing their share and it's super important these things are done and don't ask why it's important shut up

you'll notice my point has no bearing on what the woman intended, which is a big part of the problem. it doesnt matter that you meant well, any more than it matters that a man means well when he says you are good hookup material. we all know a woman is not going to take it well regardless of how it was intended, and men also do not take it well when women say they are not interested in hooking up with you.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/26 04:34 PM
2

your points are some real internet, 'i dont go outside and cant relate to humans' type nonsense. ultimately, when a woman says she wont hookup with you, what information you are getting is essentially 'youre not that great,' whether it be how hot you are, how awesome you are, how much charisma you have, whatever. you are being told you lack an 'it' factor that men value and want to see in themselves, which hurts to hear. the kind of cold, distant intellectualizing you are doing here misses this …
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/26 04:26 PM

and women shouldn't be offended by being primarily hookup material. its a compliment from us!

The better comparison would be "it sucks to be broke." Yeah it sucks not being a millionaire but it's just a language issue to think "sucks" regarding be alone and "sucks" regarding not having everything you ever wanted are the same. The word is the same but the difference is obvious and substantial.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/09/24 04:12 PM

Yeah there is, it fucking sucks ass dude
/r/PurplePillDebate30/09/24 03:57 PM

look i know it offends you that these women are way hotter than you and you want to shame men into getting with you instead but this is just pathetic. there's nothing wrong with older men having sex with insanely hot twenty somethings, dumbass.

Clearly it isn't as big of a deal for you, though I have my doubts that this situation doesn't weigh on your mind slightly, but if it genuinely doesn't then good for you. But the way you phrased that made it seem like you prefer a broke guy to a rich guy, which I doubt is true of basically anyone male or female.

It gets no man anywhere. The internet is quite literally littered with nice guys and their stories of treating women well only to be completely heartbroken, so either get your head out of your ass or get it back in the sand where its apparently been your entire life Also lmfao at 'biphobic comments' dude touch grass you fucking dork

it literally doesnt. i know you think you have experience as a bi woman who kissed a girl in college once or twice, but you really dont know anything about dating as a straight man. being nice gets you nowhere. maybe if you find a nice christian girl she will give you a peck on the cheek after several months, maybe? that's about as good as youre going to get

It's about as plausible as telling lesbians to fuck men to get over their problems with other women. That said, I don't think I've ever seen someone give advice like this.

Because only men have agency. Thus, misogyny is something they have some ownership of whereas women have been conditioned by the men around them to think impure thoughts. Don't believe me? Read feminist literature, it's about as misogynist as anything else, and they will fall over themselves to reiterate the point that women have no agency.

Well I'm assuming the person is engaging in harassing behavior specifically, which is illegal. Talking, without more, doesn't qualify.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/24 09:45 PM
15

No you don't understand, if someone harasses me I can call the police and they will physically prevent that person from harassing me (assuming they actually are legally harassing me). That's pretty much an entitlement by any real definition.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/24 09:16 PM

They're entitled to be left alone/not harassed. Might sound obvious but so is the rest of your post.

Not the first dates I've been on, they usually end up costing me somewhere between $40-$100. You sound like you're describing first dates for middle schoolers. Also, should I call your post trying to explain to a man why men are paying for dates womansplaining or blue pillsplaining?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/24 03:16 PM

We spend many times that for the date that *might* lead to sex, you think an extra $10 for a guarantee is going to stop us?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/24 02:35 PM
3

I'm not speaking for anyone except for myself and those I've had sex with because it isn't exactly hard to tell when someone has a good time. Based on that experience, I think women do benefit from getting laid at least a bit. You are reading far too much into what I'm saying, as if my experience is literally generalizable to every human that ever existed just because I noticed a trend; that isn't the case.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/24 01:05 AM
2

Not even close. Most of the benefit of sex is completely lost on people who have never had it because the experience itself is what makes it so wonderful. Without having had the benefit of a sexual encounter I really don't think she is in a position to talk about the benefits of having sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/24 01:02 AM

It's a thread about the benefit of something you've never done but yet you still have a strong enough opinion to post about it. Idk man kinda weird imo.

So these women that are hooking up with men are what...doing it by force? by accident? What a confusing world you must live in literally witnessing people do something by the thousands that apparently these people don't enjoy even slightly. And I'm having this convo with like 3 redditors on a men/women debate subreddit, one of which doesn't understand how access to sex is still a benefit even if you don't personally use it and another is a 25 y/o virgin saving herself for marriage, so I'm not ex…

Theres no objective awesomeness to be found in having sex with random men. Sorry but considering how often this happens this sentence really just cannot be believed by any reasonable person
/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/24 08:57 PM

I mean that's all fine, but it sounds like you're saying you're a virgin which makes me wonder why you are even debating this topic lol

Serious question, have you ever had a ONS or something like it? I ask because you say: I’m not stupid or naive enough to think a random stranger cares about my enjoyment, well-being or is honest enough with me to know where I stand with him. And this does not really reflect my experience at all. Obviously men are less likely to care if they barely know you, but usually when I'm having sex with someone new it's after at least a little bit of talking/hanging out etc., where they get to know me a b…
/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/24 08:37 PM

But it definitely is some of the time though, I know from first hand experience as do many people. And if you enjoy it even slightly, then it is definitely a benefit to you to have access to others for sex. And even if you don't enjoy it, it is still a benefit because of the objective awesomeness of sex imo. Same with like a 401(k), you may not care to contribute personally for a number of reasons, but having access to one at all is still a benefit to you.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/24 08:28 PM
-2

Cool, still a benefit to be able to have sex with lots of people if you choose, though.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/24 08:13 PM
5

See the problem is that men believe that their experience with sex matches women’s This has nothing to do with what I posted, though. The experience doesn't have to match anything to be great, and I've had enough sex to know the women I'm having sex with are enjoying it, including the ones I only had sex with once or twice.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/24 08:12 PM
5

? What kind of miserable existence do you live where sex is really only a benefit for the men
/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/24 07:38 PM

The benefit is that sex is fucking awesome and that is plenty enough of a benefit to me. Sorry it sounds like it's been a bad time for you, but I think that makes you a little weird and not very representative of most people, including women.

What advantages or benefits do women get out of having sex? Have you ever had sex before? Because if so this cannot be a serious question

Especially when a lot of men tell me they want to feel needed and feel like a provider Those dudes have it backwards, imo. You don't set your life up to maximize your ability to be a provider, you just become one. If you need to be around someone who essentially has to hold themselves back so you can flourish then you aren't ready to be a provider. Obviously this won't help your dating prospects or whatever, but I really think you are hurting yourself if you wait around for those guys to grow in…

I'm 34 and I'm still genuinely unsure. It's just such an insane commitment but I also see and appreciate a lot of the reasons for having kids.

I don't really want any, many men I know don't want any, but I also know several that love the idea of being a father or are fathers and love it. I always kind of hate the 'everyone's different' types of responses to questions like this because I view it as a bit of a copout, but I think it actually applies here; I think when you meet any random man it is essentially a coinflip whether they want children or not.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/24 07:44 PM

I honestly think this is kind of a social media-created issue. I highly doubt you'll meet too many people that incensed that a woman chooses a career over kids in person, but all the crazies come out on the internet and hang out in concentrated areas. Most men I've known would not do that and many don't even want kids to begin with, let alone force a woman to take care of them. And every woman I've seriously dated has had something of a career and it doesn't bother me in the slightest. Not sayin…

The reason body positivity is a thing is because women are a pressure cooker of insecurity, it's really not any more complicated than that, not because of some revolutionary solidarity among women to stop judging each other for their weight and move past the diet fads of old.

Back when I was in high school, I was overweight and generally did not care about my appearance, and I didn't have many friends. Needless to say, I was invisible to women back then. However, around age 19 I lost a lot of weight and got in great shape, and while I acknowledge this is absurdly self-serving, I don't think I'm exaggerating to say I improved from like a 4 or 5/10 to an 8+. If individual men choose to not socialize that's not a problem of "men are just not social like women" it's a problem of "this particular man doesn't want to socialize". ...until a pattern emerges if it occurs often enough, then it makes no sense to avoid the conclusion that "men are just not social like women," and in my opinion (and I believe data on loneliness backs this up) that pattern definitely exists.

Really it just comes down to being 'awesome.' Ever meet a dude you thought was awesome? Either really funny, very outgoing, almost intimidatingly successful, in jaw-dropping shape, could read a room real well, etc. If you have one or more of these traits, not all of them, nor necessarily any particular one, but at least one of them, the pussy lines up around the block. Simple as that.

Capability? Sure I guess. But they don't seem to be as willing or aspiring. And I wouldn't disagree men and women socialize differently but I highly disagree they socialize with the same frequency, but that's just my experience as a dude who has had many male friends but also known many women, either as friends or romantically.

People are less connected now, but imo, women are still making more of an effort to join social groups. Be it internal pressure or genuine enjoyment, in my experience, women are much more likely to go out of their way to be around other human beings. Men, on the other hand, take more joy out of staying inside and toying with the gadgets technology has provided us. For example, in the early days of the internet, the joke was that there are no women on the internet, only GIRLs (Guys In Real Life).…
