Yeah question a bit too broad, vague and empty. So a broad answer I can think of is don’t follow or fall for the hype of the toxic modern woman being pushed these days. If you have a good man just be a good woman to him. Don’t deprive him of treatments. But only if he’s a good man to you ofc.

Sorry to you OP you deserve way better. To put it simply it’s seems you simply “drew a short straw”with this one. What you’re complaining about is truly the bare minimum and even that you can’t & your boundaries are being violated and disrespected. Sounds like a “shit guy” type moment so there’s not really an answer to your question because the question alludes that the general majority (opposite sex) is like this man which I guarantee you isn’t true. But there’s ways to improve him like others …

One million percent right. Trad/masculine men don’t naturally behave like this. Even if they were unhealthy, they’d still treat you nice in “some” aspects which in OP case sounds like no aspect is being met. Sorry to OP ☹️ but there’s no really answer to her question as it seems she got a really bad pick from the batch.

Yeah how’s it weird ? From what I’ve seen their family unit is solid and fine. Why do you say that?

A human flaw in general. Almost every statement made is seen through a personal lens and taken as a personal attack.

No. Holding his past against him literally serves no purpose. Of course ! That’s 100 percent something you need to be made aware of. Cause it’s a whole different gender and possible attraction etc. Diff ballpark. Yes. Definitely something you should tell me. But I get not telling me because it was j an experiment and you have no interest in them tho. Also, though experiments happen, usually when a man is “bi curious” enough to actually experiment, it’s a high strong possibly that he is actually …

You actually don’t have to give up your financial independency. Something like this is circumstantial really. Example you can have a small not too demanding business hustle on the side of of homemaking. You can work online. Agreeably with children this is difficult but still manageable. Say you don’t have these opportunities tho, when your husband gives you money save a portion. Have a separate bank acc and always save. Although it’s originally his money it’s still yours at the end of the day to…

Yeah it’s a personality test called the Myer Briggs personality test. It’s the closest and most closest personality indicator because it’s based on the theory of psychology types.

Just always keep in mind that when people come to you and confide in you their problems, take it as an honor that they trust you. And that most times, they’re not immediately searching for a solution. They need consolation first. Jumping to a solution makes them feel invalidated that their feeling about the situation doesn’t matter. So essentially coming to you was a waste. Especiallyyyy when dealing with women. This is actually even a very common male trait. To want to provide solutions rather …

Wraps and salads are the way to go. Sandwiches bit boring at this point and imo they get soggy to fast. I’m anti soggy food. Salads with stuff like meat. The meats for salads are chicken, fish and shrimp. The wraps can be premade and kept in fridge then just microwaved in the morning. You also could get everything for the wraps together in the night so in the morning all you have to do is package it and put it together no cooking. But that’s it your getting up. Also smoothies with little pre pac…

(Not disagreeing with you) but imo this pushes the narrative that men literally only care about sex. Men can practice chivalry w/o sex on the table. I mean come on. Stuff like this shrinks men down to a box of their only desire being to seek out sex. Also with the whole “women would have to try harder” thing, I mean naturally, men are the hunter/go getters. So ultimately they’re kind of wired to be that way and not something that should be encouraged to change. So would this even matter? That it…

Yes this is good. If he truly values your opinion he’ll want to look good for you. Especially if what you want benefits him too. And in this case it is and will. And when he does dress better, give him endless praises and more 😉 Continuous support too.

Stating your wants, needs, expectations will not be seen as desperate to someone who’s really “ready” for you in the first place. Sure they can want to take their time but still, it should be seen as “hey this is what I expect eventually from this relationship, hbu?” not desperation with the right person.

Question. Granted yeah most of the expectations on sexual performance are on men. But if your definition of good in bed is essentially “active” Would you say pillow princesses & subs are immediately bad in bed because they don’t take the initiative? Cuz these are sexual preferences & relationship dynamics.

Hi. Your Hymen can get ruptured but it can’t “take” your virginity. It may tear, split etc. Depends on the person. Nothing can “take” your virginity especially not an object or device. You’re simply no longer a virgin after you have intercourse.

Men just have an entitled mentality in general. In mostly all spaces. Socially, romantically name it. Imo men just have a “walk around like you own the place” charisma. Nothing wrong in being confident obvi. Idk if this is a hyper masculine thing but imo men just always feel entitled to everything and everyone.

This is absolutely absurd. An asshole for rejecting someone you’re not interested in? Please. Roles reversed, its sexual harassment and you’re a creep. What you experienced with your partner was not right. Women tend to get away with a lot of double standard things. It should be normal for men to reject women. I think rejection from a man is more humiliating for the simple fact that we women are mainly the ones doing the rejecting & we get chased by men. Imo, because of being chased by men frequ…

Slut for true crime here 🙋🏽‍♀️. Mainly every outlet I live in a country where the rate of “serious” crime like murder, kidnapping of women is fortunately little to nothing. But I’m always thinking of things I’d do differently/wouldn’t do if I lived in counties with such high rates. And I know this is easier said than done. But; I’d be very very wary of online dating apps. I’d only ever choose to meet up in a highly populated area. Never ever immediately go to the persons home or have them come a…

No matter how “healthy” the relationship is after breakup, recipe for eventual disaster in some way, shape or form. Should be avoided.

This is true, but I think what separates it is sex. Men have low standards for sex. When it comes to “doing without” they’ll just about sleep with anyone but will think twice about who he marries. This would vary with age tho I think. That’s why men run from commitment after intimacy. Because the woman is good enough to fuck but not marry. Marriage is expensive in all aspects (financially, emotionally, time etc) so they’ll actually take into consideration the person they’re going to share their …

100% I believe this is optimal. They’re more mentally mature. They’re more likely to want to “settle” than run through relationships. The no experience thing varies with person and really goes 2 ways. 1 being he could have no relationship experience and completely wreck you, because he’s learning and making mistakes. Or 2 being, his lack of experience makes him perfect, because he doesn’t know anything else or know “better”. Not meaning in a negative way but saying that you can mold & build him …

Hi, I do know what the Halo Effect is. But I'm actually referring to long term. Yes you will be positively judged based on traits/attributes you posses. But initially though. Eventually time proves otherwise. The always nicely dressed co worker who intimidated you when he first came, was proven to be nothing but bronze and "no brains". It'll give him a good first impression and he'll be prioritized but time proved that he's incompetent, irresponsible, untrustworthy etc.

“Beauty” definitely catches our eye. There’s no denying it & if denied, people aren’t being truthful with themselves. But “beauty” alone will never be enough to have & hold meaningful relationships. It’s what attracts you initially, but it doesn’t make u stay. As humans, the first spike of interest is always visual. (Given u don’t know anything about said person) We like what we see. We then get to know said attraction. We are also attracted to mannerisms & personality. These are what keep a per…

Hey! Lovely explanation & perception! But, and please correct me if wrong, I’m getting that the concept of high/low maintenance, being a good partner and how to be be a better partner etc is directed towards women only. While its necessary and healthy for adjustments and compromises in relationships, I can’t help but hear it sounding like the women have to alter/dim themselves significantly for their partners ? It feels solely directed towards women and pleasing the man and making the man happy.…
