Just like a Landlord can evict tenants, the owner of a house can choose to sell it and evict its current inhabitants. Just researched it, if the husband has sole ownership of the home, he can force the sale and force the wife out. We are also the primary demographic that owns firearms, meaning we're more likely to be strapped in the case of an armed attack.
