Had a funeral for a close relative a few years ago and it helped me get some closure. They don’t like expensive weddings and now they don’t think people should have funerals either if they want one? Fuck outta hear with your cheap assThis is precisely why I hate the whole race to the bottom in terms of effort and costs. As a society we have cultural rituals as a way to commemorate, celebrate, and grow. If someone truly has a bad association with a cultural ritual, that’s one thing. But not wanting to celebrate an occasion for financial reasons only is pretty ridiculous | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 18/05/21 10:17 PM

Fuck outta hear with your cheap assI hate how wanting a nice wedding is demonized on Reddit | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 18/05/21 10:06 PM |
I really hate LVM's in fictional entertainment, and them ending up getting the girl. See Ron Weasley for example.Bill was a Curse Breaker who worked in Egypt and other interesting places. He wasn’t broke iirc. He was also Head Boy and had a ton of OWLs. He and Fleur met at work and he was helping her acclimate to a new country. He was presented as the coolest Weasley brother. When he’s first in the books, Harry is awed by how cool Bill is because he was Bill to be a nerdy loser lol | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 12/04/21 10:40 PM
I really hate LVM's in fictional entertainment, and them ending up getting the girl. See Ron Weasley for example.Yeah actually he was an Auror and then left after two years to work in his brother’s shop. Lavender gave me pick me vibes though | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 12/04/21 03:10 PM
I really hate LVM's in fictional entertainment, and them ending up getting the girl. See Ron Weasley for example.I would second relying on book events and characterization over the movies | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 12/04/21 03:09 PM
I really hate LVM's in fictional entertainment, and them ending up getting the girl. See Ron Weasley for example.Ron ranks very low on my favorite Harry Potter characters list, but even I’d say that his characterization in the movies is all wrong. The screenwriter Steve Kloves was a big Harry/Hermione fan and wrote the script that way. Hermione was given some of Ron’s best lines from the books in addition to her own. This leaves Ron a fairly useless character in the movies. He’s a lot better in the books though. I still find him annoying. I don’t like the Ron/Hermione pairing but in the books it’s written … | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 12/04/21 03:08 PM
I really hate LVM's in fictional entertainment, and them ending up getting the girl. See Ron Weasley for example.I don’t think Hermione ended up as a housewife. She worked in the Ministry and eventually became Minister of Magic! The epilogue in DH doesn’t mention her career (it doesn’t really mention any of their careers) but in interviews immediately after the book was published, JKR said that Hermione worked in the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures and the Department of Magical Law Enforcement. And later in the Cursed Child she is Minister! | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 12/04/21 02:59 PM
I really hate LVM's in fictional entertainment, and them ending up getting the girl. See Ron Weasley for example. She actually did end up as Minister of Magic! | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 12/04/21 02:55 PM
I really hate LVM's in fictional entertainment, and them ending up getting the girl. See Ron Weasley for example.Yeah I enjoy the books a lot but I don’t read them for the romance | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 12/04/21 02:54 PM

A rant about how inherently sexist arranged marriages are.One of my friends who went the arranged marriage route has been in a relationship for over a year. Time is necessary to learn and vet | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 09/04/21 02:00 PM
**NEW VARIATION** Coffee / Walk date 🙄Hahahahahaa this is such a dumb idea for a date | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 09/04/21 01:01 PM
A rant about how inherently sexist arranged marriages are.Yeah I feel like it can be a useful vetting process if your parents are on the same page as you and back you up. Otherwise it’s not worth it | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 09/04/21 12:59 PM
A rant about how inherently sexist arranged marriages are.Exactly. There’s a big difference between 25 and 30 and 35 and 40. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 09/04/21 12:58 PM
A rant about how inherently sexist arranged marriages are.Indian Matchmaking pissed me off because Sima kept acting like Aparna’s requirements were too much but she also kept coddling Pradhyuman. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 09/04/21 12:43 PM
A rant about how inherently sexist arranged marriages are.Okay I’m also south asian and around your age. Literally after I finished grad school my mom started pushing the idea of showing me guys and people started to send potential suitors info to my parents. I basically threw a huge temper tantrum (not mature but w/e) to get her to back down a bit And for the profiles I’ve seen, I typically have more impressive educational qualifications and career trajectory. Also about the age thing, I don’t know why I’m supposed to be okay with 4-5 years older?? 1-… | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 09/04/21 12:40 PM
Do not tell men you are on birth controlIt’s a really useful way to deter an insistent man. Haven’t used this before though Also as a vetting strategy, if a woman has to use this, then the man is definitely not worth it | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 09/04/21 11:59 AM
Do not tell men you are on birth controlAlso talk about not believing in abortions to scare em off | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 08/04/21 07:44 PM
If he’s letting himself go (both fitness wise and diet), it’s over 🤷🏾♀️ I’m sure you ladies can guess what the comments are saying 🤮60 pounds in 2 years?! How much is this dude eating?? | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 08/04/21 07:42 PM

The Female Dating Strategy Podcast Eps 103 & 104: Bridgerton and Meghan & Harry vs. The Royal Family Discussion ThreadThis is my favorite podcast! I binge listened to both of these episodes. I never thought that way about Lady Featherington. I think I was swayed by how “beautiful” the Bridgerton family was but I didn’t fully evaluate how useless Violet was until hearing all this. All the takes about the show were spot on. I think that Meghan isn’t perfect (no one is) but she definitely doesn’t deserve the vitriol she’s getting. It’s telling that there isn’t more of a fuss made about Andrew. I would love if futu… | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 07/04/21 12:58 AM
