Not many wholesome posts on here. They’re helpful, but mostly not wholesome. Love this, we should all branch out.

Interesting.. I don't have the credits to start. I'd have to take and pass the A+ exam in order to get in ASAP. Do they help you find a job after? I forget lol

I'm thinking about going into welding.. I'm in my early 30's and have never had a trade kind of job. The last few years I've worked in a maintenance dept, so the familiarity and love for the work is there, but I'm afraid of possible health issues of welding. Can anyone weigh in here? If you do things safely, is it worth it? I know welding money is good. I've been furloughed, so perfect time to do something big with my free time. I've been bettering myself through other means (working out, piano …

Have you attended or know people that have? I've been looking at them for over a year.

It's fucking free, why not?? There's a lot of good coding practices that are taught in school tbh.

Fuck her friend and be done with the bitch. You want to wait for someone you KNOW slutted it up? EZ not relationship material, bro.

You know how many guys love "old lady vibes"? I have a friend that *only* goes for that. Almost married the last one and will probably marry this one that he's with currently. Big agree with embracing it.

Two different parts of the spectrum. I think both are acceptable, tbh.

I'll quote myself since you seem to have missed what I said: You know you have self esteem issues and the men in your life seem to be where your source of it lies. This needs to change. Now. By change, I mean YOU need to be your source of love, appreciation and feeling special. If you can, take a step back, slow down and read some of the comments you've made about yourself. Can you say that you love yourself? Probably not. THAT'S OKAY you know why? We're human and we get to work on ourselves and…

Judging from your post history, the kinds of girls that you were getting passed over for you are the types of women who would never need to make a post like this. You know you have self esteem issues and the men in your life seem to be where your source of it lies. This needs to change. Now. Work on DGAF, work out if you don't already, and un-boring yourself with hobbies/interests that aren't TV and social media. Reminder of some RPW Axioms: (Paraphrase) The acceptance that we are all flawed. Ev…

Respect comes naturally to men of high value, and they definitely don't concern themselves with earning respect from others. If there's a person out there and you want to "earn his respect" then you're already placing him above you on a mental level and lowering yourself- which means you've lost from the very beginning. This is fucking great.

"CAN'T I HAVE GUY FRIENDS OTHER THAN YOU?! YOU ARE SO REGRESSIVE AND PATRIARCHAL" and left. Her loss. I know it hurts, but you're fucking free now, bro. Go have fun. You'll romanticize it, but hang out with your real friends and some chicks and you'll be good in no time.

Turn it around...simply say you want to find out if she's cool...then qualify her. Give her a little shit, a few teases on her answers. Make her seem like she has to work for your approval. This is what you should do in ALL of life. This is very concise and insightful.

I think it's less about how people see him and more about weighing on mother's knowledge to make a not shitty decision. That's where my mind went, anyway.

Out of curiosity, as a girl, what weight are you starting for deadlifting? If not 135, are you using rubber plates or a smaller bar? Asking for someone who has never lifted before.

This makes me regret so much shit I've done with my girlfriend. These are amazing examples that actually have happened to me. I swear to god that opening your mouth about A, B, and C does little to nothing or worse - huge backfire. I've sacrificed so many of my boundaries for her "happiness" or "ease". This sounds like a big mind easer and I can't wait to put it into practice. Nonverbal communication, fucking awesome. Thanks for sharing.

Dude, yes. I caught myself providing solutions to my 'current ex's' dad problems (he has no fucking respect for anyone in his family, e.g. eats anyone else's food/leftovers without asking even though he has all this other shit in the fridge that no one else eats) and when I heard myself say a solution, I pulled it back and was telling her how horrible it was instead. I've been doing this the last couple of days and surprisingly, I really feel like it's helping her/us. Why does that work so well …

No suggestions on which ones to try/do or is it an obligatory "do your own research and try your own shit. Lazy"

I practiced not giving a solution to something sucky that was mentioned and it went so much better. I need to practice saying "I hear you" and that one - "I understand".

I'm just now starting to read more about TRP and I had an 8 year relationship "end" 5 days ago - more on this later. I'm coming to this subreddit and TRP because I know there are these manly values that I need to internalize, but when I read your post, it's cryptic to me because I haven't read enough and definitely haven't practiced enough yet. Things that I want to DO and don't necessarily make sense: A rock does not move. A rock does not speak. But a rock has presence. How do I get presence/wh…

I'll probably check out your blog - this was such a great read even though I'm in a relationship. Have any general relationship advice since this is all about approaching? I feel like I could learn a lot. Say you're not as happy with your frame as you could be and are in a serious relationship and want to be better?

That's funny because all the women I work with hate working with all the other women in the office. Most of them prefer the company and working with men than with their own gender. Nice freaking slide, society. This is so sad.
