For women who do this, this is not actually what is going on in their head though They're playing to win and using people though

No I also don't really see the point in marrying a woman who can't bear children, and it's hard to even justify marrying a woman who you met much later in life - even your 30s How can you trust someone who came into your life so late, and who often demands to be put higher than everyone else in your life who actually was there through good and bad times (most commonly, your family)

You shouldn't need a qualifier to get across what you mean, it really prevents clear thinking, comparing romantic love to familial love allows a ton of gray area and inappropriate associations given it all falls under the same word Romantic love deserves less credit than it gets, it is simpler and shallower than other forms of "love", and we shouldn't fool ourselves into associating it with familial bonds just for example

Yes, to have a single word for it allows one to muddy the waters, it would be better if English had these words - romantic love could then be put in its proper place, in the gutter

Also, women on PPD have said the same thing - they care for individual men, not men as a whole...yet we are to care for the entire female gender

Not my problem you are not willing to use the search function properly, I'm sure another thread will come up in the next few months talking about it as it is a pretty common subject here

You can get a paternity test and still be on the hook in some situations, in Canada, the US, and many other countries There have been multiple threads on this in the past

This happens when women have sex with other and multiple people and are impregnated by them, and either do not know who the father is or lie about it

My father was raised by a man other than his biological father and had a ton of respect for him, likes him much more than his bio dad. Still, the story of my father and my stepfather's life is largely why I write off relationships with single mothers or the possibility of becoming a stepparent. It is inferior to having a complete family and not worth the heartache.

This is almost like a covert contract, you did a thing I didn't ask you to do, don't really care about or need and expect to be compensated Really it's just nagging or a justification to nag I've lived on my own long enough and know what's important to me, sending out birthday and Christmas cards to all my family and acquaintances is not one of them

Is it unfair if men would eschew whatever it is you think isn't being shared if they were single, among their family, or male friends?

When I got past the age of 12 I didn't even know what I wanted for gifts What you think is essential is really optional to me and most of my family, it's stuff many women choose to busy themselves with and is to their emotional benefit and the benefit of small children If you want something go out and buy it yourself, why go through all the trouble of hemming and hawing over what people like and whether you're giving the right amount It's a different story when it comes to something rare or regi…

Most men are socialized to be breadwinners, especially in flyover land, this is likely his big bargaining chip and surprise surprise women are attracted to the money not the men who make it
