Well thats usually because its much older women going to these things because it has the perception of being more “serious” than the dating apps they used to use

Women implicitly benefit from the perception that they lack personal accountability because so long as that is believed, they’re entitled to benefits from the government and preferential treatment in courts.

There’s unironically some truth to this, the men that were on top want armies of young women running around their office for perverted reasons. There’s just no long-term thinking with them.

People hate to hear this but it’s basic evolutionary psychology. From a purely biological and non-civilizational standpoint, women are simply more valuable than men because of their uterus. Simpery is very much baked in to a lot of male psychology, and when combined with a natural tendency for intrasexual competition there’s little primal desire to help your fellow man. The greatest examples in history of men uplifting the lives of other men have been essentially asexual by no accident. Think la…

I’d say its worse in a sense because emasculation in the West can be taken at face value, while with Japanese animation there’s a more insidious fetish angle to it geared towards pathetic men.

The end game was and still is polygamy. Monogamy is becoming untenable because women don’t want to marry Mr. Average. She won’t. It’s very sad.

This might sound a little insensitive but never a good idea to let another man’s child play cuckoo bird with you. I’m sure the kid appreciated a positive male role model, but it sounds like at least to a degree you’ve learned a valuable lesson about women.

“Oppress” is an incredibly loaded word in this instance. Christianity did more for women’s QoL than anything else in history. Heaven forbid being in a monogamous marriage, though.

Women have inherent value and men do not. Women have had protected status since the dawn of civilization, this is simple biology and game theory.

Most of the time yes, as there’s no political will with most of these people to roll back feminism in any meaningful way. Traditional Christian masculinity was predicated on a mostly co-beneficial relationship (a man courts a woman/her father for her hand in exchange for financial and physical security). The man received a loyal wife, a family, and therefore purpose. The woman received the security essential to pair-bond. You cant have traditional relationships and still allow women to have thei…

People have tried to retroactively call it gay because they think men are incapable of forming a close bond as friends. The author himself has stated in no uncertain terms that they are not gay.

It’s a coming of age novel about the relationship of two friends who go to boarding school together, set in the backdrop of world war 2 in Britain. Not about men’s rights or anything like that, but generally romanticizes the concept of the all-male boarding school.

Been on a lot of dates relatively speaking. Very empty, most women are very transactional and shallow. They don’t bring anything to the table other than sex and I don’t really care about it. Not to a fault, anyway. I’ve only been in a relationship with one woman I loved, who also was my best friend. Lost that. We really need young male social clubs

As a man, the old adage of “not settling” is more true for us compared to women. This is because of misandrist legal disparities that could absolutely ruin your life, whereas women almost always end up net positive with a marriage. They get to take their cake and eat it too, we do not. As men, we also have less urgency to find a partner than woman do. Because women are so superficial compared to us, you WILL get more interest from women as you develop yourself. Women are not this way when it com…

It was actually made by us men so that we don’t rip each other’s throats out competing for you, and rather actually contribute to building the comforts of civilization. Though it’s ultimately a social construct, it’s the bedrock of civil society. Men have trouble even trying when they don’t have hope - and for most men that’s a woman he loves and a family to make the work worth it.

All good examples here. I’d say that communicating these issues to close female friends and family is the easiest and most effective way to raise awareness. The internet is flooded with online female influencers paying lip service to mostly male audiences (who eat it up), but how you communicate when it’s of no immediate benefit to you is the most impactful. Ultimately the first step to better gender relations is women listening and taking it seriously. This not only raises awareness but stops m…

Sexual volatility is inevitable from an evolutionary standpoint. This is just biology and its baked in the cake. There is no such thing as some gender-neutral progressive paradise where we all act monogamous, understand each other, and treat ALL members of the other sex with respect. It is contrary to human nature. Because of assumed self-interest from most, it requires top-down societal regulation for both men AND women. Social-constructs (such as marriage) exist for a reason, and I think we’re…

I dont know why it needs to be constantly reiterated but the objective fact that biologically speaking, women have inherent value as the gatekeepers has and will always be true until the end of time. We live in a hyper Freudian/materialist culture, so where there used to be inherent spiritual value given to men, there no longer is. Now your value as a man is in root production

Life has never been “good” for most men, historically speaking. However, there were exclusively male spaces, and the general idea that the work you put in correlated to a (relatively) better life. There are multiple factors as to why this isnt the case anymore and it started far before 2020.

Gynocentricity is a better term, but again, this is just game theory. The inherent truth that women hold value by merit of simply existing, and always have, isn’t just magically untrue because we will it to be so. That’s just not how it works. You can’t socially engineer other men to devalue the biological imperative. Trust me man, I wish we could.
/r/MensRights30/11/24 09:21 PM

Look man, it pains me too, but men have put pussy on a pedestal since before the written word. It’s simple game theory. The sex with ovaries will inherently hold power over most men, unless society is specifically geared otherwise (as it was for most of Western history), we as people are geared towards matriarchy/hypergamy.

In the state’s eyes she has inherent value because of her vagina and you don’t. It’s not really something to get too beat up over, it’s just human biology and how it’s been for basically all of history. Once you realize that legal egalitarianism doesn’t and never will exist, it helps you to navigate the rest of your time here on earth. Yes you don’t have a vagina which gives you inherent advantages, but you also have a male brain. I for sure wouldn’t give up the latter for the advantages of the …

Death knell for civilization, or at the very least human happiness. Most women will not be satisfied with their partner. Men will not be happy because they’ll know their women wish they could have better. Anybody who’s smart is shorting the marriage stock. Nobody is going to participate in it besides the wealthy and overtly religious. Within a generation most people will not marry.

I’m taking a guess that you’re a woman judging by the Snoo, not sure as to others’ sentimentalities, but ofc men want love and not simply sex. Sex is an urge though and for men who’ve never actually experienced love (most), sex alone, lacking depth, acts as an effective enough placater for what they truly want, which is purpose. Most men are hardwired to want to be providers, and as ridiculous as these weak men are, they give money to women on paid content services because it, beyond merely fulf…

I also want to emphasize, they absolutely don’t. Families, that monogamous bond between a man and woman, built civilization. Prostitutes are NOT a replacement for a loving wife in any way, it’s a valve to stop lonely, angry men from overthrowing their government, or just generally being civically disagreeable. If you never let men experience real love, will they ever know any better than what’s immediately available, after all?
/r/MensRights08/06/24 12:14 PM

So long as the internet exists, and we introduce no tangible alternative purpose for the majority of men, there is no serious movement valuing “chastity” that isn’t a complete joke with no legs.
/r/MensRights08/06/24 12:06 PM
14

This was their historical purpose and why they were tolerated by governments and societies, they culled single men. There’s nothing noble in it. Porn, prostitution, sex work, etc. is a leg of the state that serves to keep potentially dangerous men in check. Sex is the oldest example of bread and circuses for institutional power, this didn’t magically change because of modern sentimentalities.
