Ex wife’s new relationship.Dude.. I divorced the mother of all narcissist and pathological liars, it's crazy. She continued to attempt to f* up my life in various ways for the better part of the last 3years. Went to therapy..got some hobby, shrink recommended I find a side gif that I enjoy. So..I created a Print on demand online store with humor based Tshirts on subjects I can relate too, including divorce. The creation process has been theraputic. Check it out. https://unfilteredteeco.etsy.com Focus on yourself and thing… | /r/Divorce_Men | 11/07/26 01:53 AM
Going through a nasty divorceOh... That's illegal where I come from (not in the US). No one can just up and leave with the kids. But if you are on talking terms..I would say try and talk it out. If you want to be part of you kids lives, you have a right to that. Just don't go crazy from her immediate actionz unless it continues and she doesn't respect you right as a parent in the long run. | /r/Divorce_Men | 09/07/26 05:24 AM
Going through a nasty divorceFrom personal experience. Feeling some sort of envy to the possibility of her being with someone else is totally natural. Don't be hard on yourself, it will pass. I would say that if she has made a decision, focus on ending the marriage we'll and maintaining a good relationship for the kids. They don't need to suffer from this more than they already willz but on the upside..a happy parent makes a happier kid. Good luck and keep your head up. | /r/Divorce_Men | 09/07/26 05:23 AM
How long did your divorce take?3.5 years and counting. And that's without any savings... Or property to fight over. Simple a narcissist that managed to get a public lawyer that the gov provides for people who have low income, but she lives in a rented apartment that is new and extremely pricey yet claims she can't work. Any who... Hitler incarnated. | /r/Divorce_Men | 08/07/26 05:52 PM
It is so hard to be the asshole...My narcissistic self ex does this till this very day.. And it's been over three years. Took me a while to stop believing or caring. Wouldn't piss on her if her hair was on fire. | /r/Divorce_Men | 08/07/26 03:16 PM
Can I turn this around or am I kidding myself? This. But I would treat this as the deciding action. If she doesn't put in the effort or continues to complain about something else, your not this, your not that, she can go and find someone else and realised that she'll have the same complaints (on other subjects maybe) towards him at some point. If it's important to her..if there is still love there, she'll see you attempting to save it and the expected reaction is that same drive to try and actually work on it. Love needs to be there to fight… | /r/Divorce_Men | 08/07/26 01:59 PM
Does it ever feel better?Therapy... Medication... Hobbies..exercise. The point is to first focus on you with yourself. Only after you make some progrress can you truly expect yourself to be something for someone else. | /r/Divorce_Men | 07/07/26 06:17 AM
Should I take my ex wife backWinning comment. | /r/Divorce_Men | 07/07/26 06:06 AM
Should I take my ex wife backThat's not a reason to get back. "she's alone, a single mom". Your partnership and existance is not there to pity her. Divorcing is not easy but you get through it. The only thing I can say is that if there are kids involved, hope that the other side is not a narcissist. If there are no kids involved, b* wouldn't have heard or seen me again. | /r/Divorce_Men | 07/07/26 06:05 AM
Should I take my ex wife backAbsolutely not. A loveless marriage, not to say one that includes anger and constant fighting, you setting up your kids to repeat that in their relationships in the future. Better a happy parent and divorced than together and miserable, for the kids especially. | /r/Divorce_Men | 07/07/26 06:01 AM
Should I take my ex wife back👆 | /r/Divorce_Men | 07/07/26 06:00 AM
Should I take my ex wife backThis | /r/Divorce_Men | 07/07/26 06:00 AM
Should I take my ex wife backIt's impossible to answer that without some additional context. The easiest thing to say is "no", since there must have been a reason for the decision and best to move forward. But again..it could depend on the circumstances. | /r/Divorce_Men | 07/07/26 06:00 AM
My life is kinda ruinedAll I can say is hang in there bro. I'm 44 and divorced a narcissist monster. I have a 7 year old non verbal autistic kid, we had no property..I gave up half of everything, took join custody, and she still dragged me through as many loop holes as possible, when the only one who is being effect is the kid who I am not saving up for becuase of her and the lawyers. It's been 3 years as I still get psycho-sms's at 3-4am ... Or other crazy BS. But yea.. It takes time. Life doesn't end after divorce. … | /r/Divorce_Men | 05/07/26 04:53 PM
45M, 7mo separated after 20y together, we have two kids. I feel I've alone the rest of my life.I second this. | /r/Divorce_Men | 05/07/26 04:42 PM
45M, 7mo separated after 20y together, we have two kids. I feel I've alone the rest of my life.I hear you bro. 44m, one 7 year old non-verbal kid and a narcissist ex wife. It's a phase that passes. Life does not end after divorce..it starts!! I found myself looking for an outlet, so beyond the therapy , sports, I created an online print on Demand shop with funny divorce Tshirts --> https://unfilteredteeco.etsy.com 😂 It's another form of therapy. Hang in there and focus on yourself..on doing stuff you love. Get out of your comfort zone and try new things. Live! | /r/Divorce_Men | 05/07/26 04:41 PM
Seeking advice from divorced menHow come? Explain because mine was an 80's model. | /r/Divorce_Men | 28/06/26 04:56 PM
Seeking advice from divorced menIf you want to know who you are actually marring, do this. See how she communicates with her family and how her folks communicate with her. If you see red flags, as in, "that's not something I would be willing to live with", don't brush it off as "oh, it won't be like that for us". Living with a person is one thing... Having kids with a person is a whole other story. Usually, that's a side you don't see until kids arrive. Basically, what ever that person experienced will pop up when in the paren… | /r/Divorce_Men | 28/06/26 04:31 PM
I think this was my 1st and last marriageAppreciate it, dude. | /r/Divorce_Men | 10/05/26 04:15 PM
I think this was my 1st and last marriageI DMed you the address. Tell me what you think. Some are still somewhat amateurish.. But I'm getting better. Everything is designs without Ai. | /r/Divorce_Men | 10/05/26 02:24 PM
I think this was my 1st and last marriageGood job, dad. I applaud you. Your kids are lucky they have you. | /r/Divorce_Men | 10/05/26 02:22 PM
I think this was my 1st and last marriageSounds reasonable to me.. Not that you should give two shits what anyone thinks. Go with what makes you happy, just take care. I've been dating someone for almost a year. Divorced 40 y/o who 1. Despises drama. 2. Enjoys gaming together. 3. Loves beer and burgers. 4. Works out and takes care. 5. Is a freak in the sheets, but tasteful. We are both on the same wave length. This is what a healthy and fun partner looks like. | /r/Divorce_Men | 10/05/26 02:03 PM
I think this was my 1st and last marriageThis is the way... | /r/Divorce_Men | 10/05/26 01:58 PM
I think this was my 1st and last marriageI hear you.... Although I got back out there pretty quick just to numb the pain for the constant threats, gas lighting and litigation threats. Just an FYI... Divorced women are, let's just say.... Different.👀 | /r/Divorce_Men | 10/05/26 01:58 PM
I think this was my 1st and last marriageNot sure what your age is.. But a little pickle tickle is well deserved. Jokes aside.. When you feel it nessecary, get back out there. But just like your kids who are top priority..you and your happiness are priority #2. Remember that. | /r/Divorce_Men | 10/05/26 01:56 PM
I think this was my 1st and last marriageHere here! | /r/Divorce_Men | 10/05/26 01:54 PM
I think this was my 1st and last marriageI divorced a narcissist, went to therapy to understand why and how I put up with the most f* up BS , and yea. I'm done. Unfourtuntly we have a kid between us, who is also a special needs kid (not unfortunately that he exists, just that it requires me to remain in contact with her). So, as part of my venting and therapy..I created a print on demand store with funny Tshirts.. For divorced people... For parents to ASD kids.. And other topics. Honestly I just enjoy venting via creation. Much better … | /r/Divorce_Men | 10/05/26 01:32 PM
This is probably not the place for this conversation but i am interested in seeing if any other men have came too this conclusionTherapy. There is the "giver"/"fixer" syndrome that some people , men and women have. I too was similar. Go to therapy , learn about yourself and your actions. Partnership should not be based on caring for the other to an extent outside of what could be considered normal. Egos don't work in a relationship. | /r/Divorce_Men | 10/05/26 12:29 PM
My wife wants a divorce and I don’t know how to move forwardIt's a break up. The marriage certificate doesn't mean jack .. Financials aside, no kids? Break it off...go to therapy.. Enjoy life, and it will pass. I would give my left nut to not have to be in any contract with my deranged narcissist ex-wife. But oh well. What I would say is this. If you want to know (for next time) who you are marrying, make sure you meet the family...see how they talk and treat one another. If red flags appear, even if you do see this when one on one with the partner, know… | /r/Divorce_Men | 10/05/26 12:26 PM
I wasn't expecting how few people cared about me.Most people don't understand the value of family until you are alone for the enitre weekend , on the couch, eating things you shouldn't at your age, not showering enough... Etc. It's a slippery slope. Therapy, exercise and medication if needed. Watch a rocky movie...that helps sometimes. | /r/Divorce_Men | 10/05/26 12:21 PM
The Down & Dirty Truth About Becoming a Divorced DadDicorved from an absolute narcissist dump fire of a human being, who has dragged me through the process even though I basically had no demands. And all this while we have a ASD 7 y/o between us. Best I can do is recommend therapy.. Don't go through this alone. Family and friends if available. I didn't and don't have anyone in geographically close range, so therapy was an actual life saver. Stay strong. | /r/Divorce_Men | 10/05/26 12:17 PM
I think this was my 1st and last marriageMarriage, round two? Heeeeeeeellllllll nah! | /r/Divorce_Men | 10/05/26 12:09 PM
Would you do it all over again?Nope. Would rather take my chances walking through an unmarked minefield. | /r/Divorce_Men | 18/04/26 04:38 AM
Post Divorce and Sex?At some point you'll have a sense of humor about this. Here is a shirt I designed specifically for your situation, to basically say that it gets better. Check it out. unfiltered marriage/divorce. | /r/Divorce_Men | 18/04/26 01:54 AM
Post Divorce and Sex?Dude. When I moved out I bought a couch. I spent so much time laying on it, litteraly from morning to night that it looks like I found out it on the street, and I've only had it for 2 years. Get yourself out no matter what. | /r/Divorce_Men | 18/04/26 01:34 AM
Post Divorce and Sex?Expanding on what I said. I too was pretty much alone during the difficult first year. It's something you go through, and if you are lucky, you have some good friends to support. If not..we'll, just keep your head up. Do shit you enjoy, and do not park you ass on the sofa like I did. Get out..run, listen to music , sit at the park with a good book. Breath dude. Being with someone you love and loves you, regards of if married, is great. But use this time to focus on you. For example..I channeled … | /r/Divorce_Men | 18/04/26 01:27 AM
Post Divorce and Sex?Yea ...my sex game was completely off..low T. Started playing bball again...went to a shrink, cleared my head...then found out how crazy in the sack divorced women are. Like, wow. Don't be hard on yourself. Give yourself time. | /r/Divorce_Men | 17/04/26 04:39 PM
Anybody find a good AI tool (more specialized than Chat) for intensive ex-wife management? (High conflict, parental alienation, etc…)This isn't the US court system. | /r/Divorce_Men | 04/04/26 03:56 PM
Anybody find a good AI tool (more specialized than Chat) for intensive ex-wife management? (High conflict, parental alienation, etc…)She was trying to get a judge to go back on a decision he made. So I had to respond to her request. To be honest, he basically ruled in my favor or just about everything up until that point. Her unstable behaviour made it easy. Still.. chatgpt made it possible. | /r/Divorce_Men | 04/04/26 03:23 PM
Them leaving is the best thing to ever happen to you 🙌I second this..took me a little longer, therapy and lately, focusing all those previously uncontrollable thoughts to a new online tshirt store I opened. Won't share it here to not get banned. I have a 7y/o special needs kid and divorced the most narcissistic, pathological liar you will ever meet in your life. Like.. I've never known such a person and this kind of behavior so it took me took me way to long to understand. | /r/Divorce_Men | 03/04/26 04:15 PM
Anybody find a good AI tool (more specialized than Chat) for intensive ex-wife management? (High conflict, parental alienation, etc…)I'll never get parents, no matter male or female, that involve their kids in their shit, trash talking the other parent? Yuk. Stay strong. | /r/Divorce_Men | 03/04/26 04:12 PM
Anybody find a good AI tool (more specialized than Chat) for intensive ex-wife management? (High conflict, parental alienation, etc…)Used chatgpt to represent myself in court. Not a court appearance, but written responses and requests. Works like a charm. Regarding ongoing communications? Yes..she is a complete narcissist. Took me a while to understand what this means. Chatgpt usually my filter before I respond. Life changing. | /r/Divorce_Men | 03/04/26 04:10 PM
