I rarely get called an asshole, but I have been told "you're really hard to get" and "I like how you don't give a fuck". I think there's a way to signal non-neediness in a positive way. In a way where the girl doesn't think or say "you're an asshole" but rather says something that demonstrates that she thinks you're high value and that's why you're non-needy.

Reminds me of the Louis CK bit 'It Gets Better': "Listen man I know it’s tough right now. You are vaguely heavy with no face, you have zero value on the sexual market place. You feel invisible to the girls in school because you are; but it gets better because you all grow up; and you pretty much look just like this your whole life; and they don’t. Their options start running out really fast and you’re going to be there as long as you stay relatively employed and washed, you’re going to be amazin…

What SJW don't understand is that behind closed doors people will think and behave whatever way they want to. They might be able to coerce people into artificial conformity when in a public space through fear of ostracisation etc, but beyond that they possess no power. So when Joe Doe is sat at home in his underwear buying a new set of razors, he'll buy according to his own conscience, and not according to what SJW say is morally correct. You can witness the same phenomenon with movies that get …

As men grow older (40s and beyond), it's going to get harder and harder to get women in their 20s as the age gap grows. No, it should get easier if you're attractive, take care of yourself, and are doing well in life. Meeting younger women for long term relationships and marriage will be harder, but in terms of plates and casual relationships, it should be fine. Much younger women will be harder, but the mid-to-late 20's bracket should be possible into your 50's if you look after yourself proper…

Aren't most of us slaves to a digital reality now? Not on the scale of someone like Amanda Lee, of course, but even within our own digital circles, whether it be on facebook, instagram, twitter or whatever, we feed off of the likes and comments for validation, and we only show an artificial side of ourselves, carefully crafted for online consumption. It can become addictive since the internet gives us access to quantities of validation not usually available to most people in the offline world. F…

Perception doesn't equal reality. You can talk a man up to the point where he's strutting down the street like he owns the place, and everyone he passes will think "wow, check this guy out" but the first time a challenge crosses his path, he will crumble and his real self is revealed. That is what happened with OP. His friends perceived him a certain way because he acted a certain way and that act was maintained so long as nothing tested him. Then something did test him and the veil was lifted.

If you're actually insecure on the inside you were never really alpha, you are just a good actor, until something legit happened that tested you, and then the mask fell away. Anyone can play alpha when everything is going well and people look at you with sparkling eyes. Take it as an opportunity to learn. You have insecurities you need to overcome.

As far as I know, microdosed LSD + Adderall is safe. You might want to do a Google search and double check, don't take my word for it.
/r/TheRedPill12/11/18 12:26 PM

For those interested, you can also enter a flow state through the use of microdose LSD. It has a range of benefits and appears to lack long-term negative side effects. It's extremely popular amongst high performers - I've heard it's even on Wall Street now. I was never the biggest advocate of nootropics/smart drugs, but the right combination can genuinely change your life for the better. Edit: Not sure what the hate is about.

Equating "individualism" with being alpha male is American brainwashing. There are many examples of alpha males existing in a collective, for example, Ancient Sparta, or even in modern times in the SS and other special forces military units.

Where you live in irrelevant. UVA and UVB rays don't disappear in the colder months, they simply get weaker. They're only doing tiny amounts of damage to your skin, but it's cold 8 months of the year in the UK, so take 8 months of the year unprotected x 50 years. Noticeable damage. This is not my opinion, every respectable dermatologist agrees.

Everyone has their own opinion about "the only right way to lift" but the fact is that many different ways work, but lifting heavy - powerlifting - will wreck your body in the long run.
/r/TheRedPill06/06/18 04:31 PM

You don't need to be territorial about your weight lifting routine. Most dudes don't want to get huge, they want a good looking, healthy body that isn't crippled from powerlifting.

Remember that it's not just lifting that will keep you looking younger, it's a combination of things. In fact, people have brought things up like nutrition, sleep, etc, but a huge one was totally neglected: sunscreen. Yes, if you want younger looking skin, you have to wear sunscreen every day no excuses. Sunscreen is not just for the summer, it's for every day because the sun exists every day of the year and is constantly damaging your exposed face and neck. Get a 'once a day' sunscreen SPF 30 a…

Lifting really heavy weight is overrated in general. Sure, it makes you feel good when you push yourself like that, but look at any lifter who lifted big for a sustained period, and they almost inevitably have injuries that required surgery. My advice would be to lower the weight and either 1) do more reps/sets, or 2) work out more frequently. Unless you're competing, there's no good reason to risk your body like that.

Clearly we have very, very different standards. However, the post is a comparison. Brad Pitt is clearly just as good looking as in the 90s, Aniston is not.

An even better idea: compare the "it girls" from recent decades to the "it guys" from recent decades. You'll notice that a lot of the men are still attractive. Very few of the women are. For example, compare Jennifer Aniston to Brad Pitt. In the 90s, both were considered sexual icons. Now, how many people do you think are fantasizing about the Brad Pitt of 2018 vs the Jennifer Aniston of 2018? For reference: Aniston looking her best at the 2018 Oscars vs Brad Pitt looking casual in 2018

Some people can, it depends on the person and how severe their anxiety is. I've had it bad and I've tried all of the "reason your way out of it" methods, and none of it worked.

No offence, but as someone who actually has social anxiety, these tips amount to nothing more than "reason your way out of it", which doesn't work; anxiety is illogical, you can't destroy it with superior logic. Additionally, saying "face your fears" is also bad advice too; a lot of people have anxiety to the point where they can't overcome that barrier. I still have social anxiety but I was able to reduce it. What worked for me is controversial but it's this: Phenibut. For those of you who don'…

Most people do New Years resolutions because 1) they're sheep and 2) they like the instant gratification of telling themselves and others (especially) that they're going to do X,Y and Z in 2018. At this point it's basically just a mass ritual of make believe. Even if there's a lack of conviction in what's being said, people feel compelled to be a part of the ritual anyway.

You need a rigid schedule. Pull out a calendar and jot down your essential activities:working, eating, sleeping. Now, around those essentials, you build your core activities: lifting, socializing, volunteering, reading - whatever you deem most important. Once that is filled into your calendar, then you can identify gaps for additional activities: martial arts, sports, language learning, learning an instrument, whatever it is. The point is that you can't be highly productive without a rigid sched…

If you don't mind taking substances, I highly recommend Phenibut. Don't make the mistake of using it as an every day thing (you will build tolerance and addiction within 2-3 weeks). The best way to use it, in my opinion, is as an occassional "helper" when breaking through your comfort zone. Example: You want to approach girls. Take 1 - 1.5g of Phenibut, wait 4 hours for the peak, and then go out and do it. Your anxiety will have dropped dramatically, you'll feel completely relaxed, and have a ge…

Regretting the past is normal if you spent most of your life in a BP mindset. However, fear of the future indicates a lack of goals, direction, motivation and momentum. If you're afraid, it's usually because you're uncertain, and if you're uncertain, it's because you lack a concrete vision and path, or because you feel inadequate to achieve what you want (in which cause, "git gud", as they say).

Achieving depth in life is entirely dependent on you and your wants/desires. You can't rely on other people for depth, but you can experience life in depth through travel/adventure/experimentation.
/r/TheRedPill16/04/17 01:21 PM

I think the cynicism comes from a fairytale view of the world where you expect people to like you/want you etc even though you're nothing special. It's like an entitlement "people should like me for who I am" even though who you are is nothing special, not particularly interesting, and provides little value. Do you see what I mean? If you want people to value you, you have to be valuable.
/r/TheRedPill16/04/17 01:09 PM

If you're an ectomorph like me, I recommend lifting no more than x3 a week, for no longer than 45-60 minutes. I recommend you focus on the compound lifts, with a few isolation movements. I further recommend 'reverse pyramid training', look it up. As an ectomorph, what I just described seems to be the golden ticket for me (and I've tried higher volume, and higher frequency too).

I don't see any indication in the 2nd graph that men peak between 35-39. The graph shows the age of a woman vs the age of the man she was most attracted too. Most men in the graph are 2-3 years older than the woman. For example, the 20 year old woman lists the 23 year old guy as the most attractive. If 35-39 was the peak, then women from most age categories would list their preferred age between 35-39.

I've just had a moment of self-awareness and realised I do this. I'm not "sweet and polite" to them, but around hot girls I tend to moderate my behaviour whereas my natural personality is to say whatever I want. You know, you don't even have to be "the best" to get what you want in life (though it depends what you mean by "the best"). An interesting life consists in doing things which provide moments worth telling to other people. Travelling is the undisputed #1 in that category. See the world and meet new people and you will end up with a ton of memories that will make great stories. Another thing that makes you interesting: playing in a band. I don't know what "sophisticated hobbies" are, but hobbies I would recommend to men are: martial arts, team sports, surfing, hiking, shooting (every man should be able to handle a gun)…

This is completely true. When I first joined TRP, I had truly awful posture. I slouched, head down, shoulders rounded, all of it. But after about 2 weeks, it became natural and I don't even think about it anymore.

The reason why Oly Weightlifters aren't that muscular is because their muscles don't spend a great deal of time under tension; the goal of Oly Weightlifting is to power the weight up as quickly as possible. A couple of months ago she was making money online as a cam girl on MFC and ranking in the top 10 every month; which means she was making at least $8k-10k/m. The funniest part is that she was a "non-nude" cam girl; she said her porn past is "behind her" and she will only get naked for her partners now. It's a bit late for that, isn't it? We've all seen you getting fucked every which way.

That is from choice though; it's required in the beginning to become wealthy, but now he's a billionaire he could easily make his own hours and not have to worry about it.

He is one of the richest men in the world and a role model for many of us, but when it comes to women, he is truly unremarkable. He might have had to neglect his game in the beginning because he was too busy getting rich, but now there is no excuse, he has the wealth and time to learn from the best.

I love South America and Southeast Asia, plenty of attractive women who are still feminine and sweet.

Dude, you talk about having to go back to America after being in Colombia; imagine my pain as I had to return from South America to the UK. I mean, I knew British girls were below average anyway, but then you go to South America and you truly understand.

I suggest you put your stats into here and get an accurate number for how many calories you need to be eating and the macronutrient breakdown. Be aware that the given number is not set in stone; if you're eating the recommended amount and you don't gain weight, add another 250-500 calories to your diet for that week and then check your weight again at the end of the week. Repeat until you start gaining 1-2lbs a week. Beware though, if you aren't working out, you'll be gaining fat, which is fine …

I'm 6' and 120lbs, at 21 it feels like there's no point. That's a pretty shitty attitude, dude. I'm 25, only been lifting for 5 months but it has changed my life. It's never too late to start, I've heard about 50 year olds who start lifting for the first time. After your teens, the next best time to start is your 20's, so don't use that as an excuse. You don't want to be 31 saying "damn, I should have started at 21, now it feels like there's no point".

I wouldn't really call that agree and amplify, that's just sarcasm. You want to be careful with sarcasm, if you don't use it correctly you can come off as butthurt.

Been lifting x3 a week for 5 months now, it has changed my life. I don't want to give false hope so I'll state up front that it didn't make me some kind of Chad Thundercock alpha male, but I am more confident, less anxious, and I no longer feel down on a regular basis. On top of that, I'm actually starting to like my body. It's definitely worth it. No excuses.

You're only going to get divorced if you marry the wrong sort of woman and/or turn into a beta years down the line. Believe it or not, the divorce rate isn't at 100%, there are still plenty of marriages that make it.

late teen, early 20s virgins raised by a mother and a father who emotionally nurtured her and raised her conservatively in a family oriented environment and instilled some sense of morality into her head. I know several girls like that. You aren't looking in the right places, my friend.

Like a lot of people, I came to TRP through PUA, but even at the time of reading 'The Game' as well as 'The Mystery Method', I did not like all the gimmicks - the magic tricks, the peacocking, the canned lines. The book I was most drawn to was actually David DeAngelo's 'Double Your Dating', especially the idea of "cocky-funny." It had significantly less gimmicks in it and felt more genuine and natural. When I envisioned myself following the methods laid out in The Game and The Mystery Method, I …

That's known as 'internalized sexism', it's usually used against women who don't support feminism. It basically implies that you're brainwashed to hate yourself and that's why you aren't an empowered womyn.

I was thinking about this the other day; I can't even remember the amount of times I've seen a guy stand his ground against his girl, only to have his friends snicker and proclaim "ohh you're in trouble now!" as if having your own wants/needs that you won't compromise on is a punishable offence. It all stems from the pedestalization of women and the belief that we should give them everything they want.

As someone who has suffered with social anxiety, let me recommend a substance called Phenibut. It's an over the counter supplement that has anti-anxiety properties; it's actually a prescription drug in some countries. I've used it in the past for situations that would usually leave me an anxious wreck like job interviews. The downside is that it is addictive if taken daily for an extended period, and withdrawal is a bitch, but it's pretty good to initially get you out of the door. Use it as a st…

You can change your life pretty drastically just by lifting, eating healthy, and meditating for 15-20 minutes a day. It's actually a great starting point because it's all pretty simple to learn but you get powerful results. For anyone reading this; take it from someone who suffers from social anxiety; after 3 months of lifting and meditation, my anxiety had withered away drastically and I felt like a champ.

I love your mantra for low-energy times, that's how I feel about it. I've been learning Spanish now for roughly 80 days, and I've had a lot of low-energy times where I haven't been in the mood to learn, but I'll just do it anyway to cement the habit, even if its not enjoyable on that specific day, because I know I'll thank myself when I become fluent.

What is the proper response when a woman brings up her problems to you? Do I directly tell her I'm not interested? Or do I listen but offer no advice?

When you're working out and bulking, the fat tends to distribute more evenly across the body. Some people are unlucky and the fat tends to gather on their belly; but once you start a cut and shred down, the belly fat should go with it and reveal your abs.

I tried to help a guy out once; I don't even know if you could call him a beta, probably lower than that: lonely, desperate, frustrated, unattractive. I was having a lengthy discussion with him, moving the topic towards advice, and when it got there, I recommended him the book "No More Mr. Nice Guy" and told him what it was about, and he essentially told me to fuck off. I've since come across him again and he is exactly the same.

Being 5'6 isn't ideal, but you have to play the hand you were dealt. A bad attitude will hold you back. You have to compensate for your height by being awesome in every other way - sick body, great fashion sense, confidence, funny, well groomed, smell good. Get everything else about you on point, and go and hit on girls who are between 5'0 - 5'3. There are lots of cute, short girls in the world.

I saw something related to this on Tumblr the other day; essentially shaming older men for going after younger women, as well as implications that there is something wrong with you for liking younger women (it was posted by a feminist, and mostly reblogged by feminists). Whether these men actually prefer older women or not, we can't know; after all, MILF porn is one of the most popular niches. But I don't care either way, if they want used goods, its less competition for me.

I don't take as pessimistic a view of marriage as a lot of RP'ers. I'm still open to it, but I have extremely strict criteria and it's dependent on a lot of factors.

She will subjugate him rather quickly, and slowly grow to resent him over the years because of his passivity and unwillingness to stand up for himself. The fact that he stated that she is out his league means he has her on a pedestal and will walk on eggshells around her.

TRP is slowly grinding away any semblance of hope I have for finding a decent girl to marry one day. Don't get me wrong, I like the playboy lifestyle of spinning plates, but I've always imagined myself eventually settling down into a serious long-term relationship and having kids. However, I don't want to end up in OP's situation one day, it sounds awful.

Free speech and liberty in general is on the decline in much of the Western world. Spain just passed a law that makes it illegal to criticize the government and the monarchy, disrespect authority, or have a "spontaneous" protest in front of a public building, amongst other things. The West is an absolute vipers nest and it's only going to get worse; I encourage you all to set your sights on new horizons.
