Displaying a harmless flaw can make you seem more human, humble, and approachable.

You already went four months without opening the box. I'd say toss the lot of it, and if you miss something, buy a new one when the desire presents itself.

Hey, good to see this book mentioned here. I read it pre-TRP and it was very helpful. It's about learning how to work with your brain, rather than against it.

Sounds like she was just being non-confrontational. I'd say keep in touch with her and hang out again, but somewhere Captain Landwhale can't reach.

My guess is, and someone correct me if I'm wrong, she will take care of him for you if she wants you badly enough.

I've discussed this issue with my LTR in the past: "I don't want to wonder all day what you want to talk about, so I'll eventually stop caring so that the suspense doesn't bother me. I know you don't want me to stop caring, so just tell me when you're able to tell me." This seems to have worked. It hasn't happened again for ~3 years.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
