I think you might be a far more happier woman if you lived in a polygamous society. You will have to be one of several wives but you can guarantee that your husband will have the wealth, social markers and accomplishments to satisfy your goals in a partner.

Good post. I wouldn't call trp conservative IMO. Their advice is about succeeding sexually in a progressive liberal world where traditional beliefs are in decline. Even if some of them prefer the old ways of doing things they understand they are powerless to change it back and it's in their interests to adjust to the new world (and they often contrast this with feminists who want the reverse). They also explicitly state they aren't interested in the moral questions and are just looking for a str…

It will creep over to Britain in time. In the ukpolitics sub someone basically called non whites who didn't approve of high migration into Britain as traitors. A few more years and we will see "no true Muslim votes for X". This is what ethnic and cultural diversity ends up like

Doesn't address my point. If you take someone who is economically insecure and feels they aren't a contributing member of society and than just hand them taxpayers cash i very much doubt they will feel like they contributing members any more than before.

At least someone admits the welfare state breaks families up. That's the British experience for decades now. Also, I very much doubt people will feel useful if they have to rely on other taxpayers to look after them. I think they would prefer real independence. You will just create slightly better off people who feel even more useless.

Nightclubs are awful when sober. If you've had a few drinks before it can be quite fun having a dance and then trying to dance with some girls. I don't have expectations of getting laid from a club as I'm not good looking enough. I've only had success when I've dragged a girl to the smoking area for a chat. But this is in Britain where clubbing is a regular activity for people under 35. There are elitist high end clubs in cities like London where you can feel like a loser if you want.

With men having all the benefits. Actually you list things which also benefit women. Birth control allows for recreational sex with little risk. The Sexual Revolution opened up for more unattached recreational sex, sexual experimentation, many partners, etc. The first part of this led to the second. Birth control means women no longer had to worry about getting pregnant. They could have recreational sex freely. I think this is a bigger, better benefit than what men gained. In the past, a shamele…

I haven't changed any point. I don't accept that "JBY" counts as improvement. I also reckon "JBY" carries a strong implication of do-nothing and don't actually try and improve in areas which actually lead to success.

just more ad hoc justification when you lost the argument
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/17 01:23 PM
3

Yeah it might be a bad example. I stand by what I said though. Many bpers believe that "just being yourself" and avoiding doing anything rpers suggest is the right way to get women. Which is really dumb imo.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/17 01:21 PM
10

Well this bper has written a whole post of "JBY" and I would add, that "the don't improve" part is the implication of those words. If you are "yourself" and that's all it takes to get women then that tells people there is no point trying to improve their social skills, their haircut or their fashion. All they have to do is find the most authentic version of themselves and it will come. Overtime, the bpers lost this argument because it encourages standing still on self-improvement. They than brin…

It used to be quite common on this forum but what happened is that rpers won the argument just like they did on lifting and now bpers claim they knew it was good advice all along and pretend they never objected to it.

Yeah, the TRPers who post on PPD are generally quite weak in their arguments. They readily contradict what I feel is accepted doctrine especially in obvious baiting threads. To me, a Chad is basically a sexually succesful man. He is capable of getting a girlfriend fairly easily. He can pursue and end up having casual sex. I would suggest he is generally on the taller side, is good looking and has a good ratio between the size of his shoulders and waist. Most importantly, he's got passable to ver…

Just so there are no misunderstandings, I want you to know that I'm not looking for an exclusive relationship right now." I would also stress that you claimed TRP recommended to "lead women on"; t…

It definitely got easier as time went on, you just got used to it. Personally, I couldn't escape the bad moods it brought about especially in the evening. It was a relief when I lost the weight and I could resume a normal sustaining diet. Still, I think my contention holds for the majority of normal people. It's unpleasant for a long time but ultimately through a bit of pain, self control and sacrifice you win. Understanding and implementing delayed gratification is probably one of the best less…

The whole world isn't the west. Of course not. Feel free to discuss feminism globally but the vast majority of users here are North American with a few Europeans, see if they're interested. Anyway, it's hard enough to generalise and discuss the impact of feminism on the western world as it is. People want to discuss their own experiences of reality in this context. Start bringing the differing values and traditions of Japan, Botswana and Peru into it and discussion will just derail. This isn't e…

Well in Britain we have a female PM, Home Secretary, Lord Chancellor, Scottish First Minister, NI first minister (soon) and also the head of state is a woman. For point one, if you read deep into RP stuff you'll find that they'll consider the most attractive man to be an "alpha bux". That is someone with strong alpha traits but is also rich and will spend money on their partner. Remember, RPers routinely mock the "beta" but they recognise that it's a sexual strategy in its own right just that it doesn't give the same return as acting "alpha". Add the positive parts of beta strategy like £££ and you hit perfection. In regards to point two, I think it's…

Tradition would be marrying a woman early on and than working all hours to support her and your children in and big house. Where does TRP argue to do that? TRP argues that old traditionalism is gone. You don't need marriage to have sex. You can get it without commitment. Therefore improve your attractiveness in Y and Z to improve your chances. That's about it the main unifying incentive behind TRP is how to get one's dick wet

the breadwinners and the heads of households, women being the nurturers and submissive to their husbands, raising the kids and taking care of the home - For most of human history women worked the field just like men did. As soon as their children were useful they were helping out on the farm. It was about making as much food as possible to live. All this traditional housewife business is a tiny narrow part of human history.

I didn't say acne was caused by poor hygiene, I said good hygiene can reduce the severity, a view supported by research and the opinions of the majority of dermatologists. Your original claim was: Almost all dermatologists agree hygiene and regular washing/taking care of the skin/washing your pillows hugely improves acne. Particularly the severity. I would like to see something which backs that up tbh m8. "Hugely improves acne" is an enormous claim. Good hygiene controls bacterial growth to an e…

Almost all dermatologists agree hygiene and regular washing/taking care of the skin/washing your pillows hugely improves acne. Particularly the severity. Its a misconception that acne is caused by poor hygene. Acne is caused by the overproduction of sebum, something which stops the skin from drying out. This excess sebum combines with dead skin cells and plugs in holes around hair follicles. And no the overproduction of sebum is not caused by poor diet but an increase in hormones in the body bro…

I think you are being overly harsh. A lot of nice guy anger is basically the pain of unrequited love...have you never felt that before? I think "entitlement" is a strange word to use as well, we all display social behaviours in a way to gain something sub consciously. Now imagine you have big feels for a woman and you are laying the groundwork yet you never get what you want. Now imagine this happens several times over a few years - he is obviously going to be unhappy about his romantic failures…

Yeah i think succesful marriages are still possible and i wouldnt swear people off it but a man entering this contract has to be extremely cautious. Hes gonna need to vet the woman inside out, i think most men understand this just that the power of the pussy and lovey dovey feelings can warp the reality the man is living in and he starts overlooking and downplaying issues obvious to an outsider.

Well there are extra layers of detail to add but i would go along with the idea that in principle marriage is now a more rotten concept for men then it was in the past.

Ethno nationalism is better suited for places like Japan and some Scandinavian countries.. but not for long. globalism is making it less likely by the day. Globalisation isnt inevitable; you make it sound like to resist it is to demand the sun stop rising every day. Japan will remain ethnially homogenous because it has chosen to be so. Scandinavia and the rest of the western world have gone to great lengths to enrich their societies by adding millions of people with more melanin in their skin th…

I think you have that right. In the past settling down with a woman, having children and than working your arse off to support them was a decent option. Nowadays there are to many downsides, so the woman you marry has had every chad inside of her since she was 19 and now with no fault divorce she can take your children away from you, take a huge portion of your wealth and in some jurisdictions future income. So whats the point of making sacrifices on your end? TRP calls it marriage 2.0. You can …

If you are an upper middle class white male, can you build rapport among a group of low class ethnics? The answer is no. It is definitely possibly, Boris Johnson is a good example. He had an extremely privileged upbringing (he is a descendent of King George the 2nd) he went to Eton the best school in the world for ages 11-18 and had everything he wanted growing up. Yet, he won two elections in London a traditionally Labour city with the most racially diverse population anywhere in Europe (white …

There is definitely a common ground. Once a BPer ignores the deliberately provocautive sexism displayed by trp...they quickly agree to several key axioms laid out by trp. I reckon most of BP is a rage against the sexism of trp which is actually reasonable most of the time. I mean you cannot defend 'women are children' line of thought....

You are just as unlikely to affect your weight over long periods of time (i.e. yo-yo dieting) as you are to experience a sudden 6" growth spurt at age 21. Are you referring to that study which said people put back the weight they lost after dieting five years on? You know why that is? They went back to their old eating habits and abandoned their diet. It aint the diets fault, it is because the fatties lack discipline and self control.

It is to shame some man they have in mind. It could be the man who doesnt want anything to do with them apart from sex....or the man who is pursuing them but they arent interested...or the boyfriend who doesnt automatically know whats wrong and how to fix the car. Its shaming a man in their life who doesnt have what she needs at that instant.

I reckon it's probably true for a small portion of men. If you've had years of unsuccessful romantic attempts with only a slither of success you start making the calculation about going out and trying to socialise / sleep with women and figure out that actually, watching some porn, playing some games, watching a film or seeing the boys is a funner and more rewarding way to spend time. Although deep in their hearts they do really want a relationship but it feels like the process of putting in the…

According to this worldwide income exceeds production cost but thats the gross figure. If the bit taken away from worldwide income is 15m then it breaks even. Bear in mind its only been out for two amd a half weeks so its bound to earn even more. I suspect it will make a small profit.

The OP doesn't really read like a rational, reasonable assessment. More like an emotional "get off my chest" type thing. Take a deep breath, have a break and come back in a few days where you can constructively put down your thoughts. I sense a lot of hatred (projection?).

And my point was, they're both objectifying you, viewing you as a purely sexual object it's just one understands that speaking plainly isn't socially acceptable and so moderates his language. The other is just honest. They both feel the same way about your body.

Exactly like nightclubs. You dance with someone attractive....exchange a few drunken words and then fuck. At least that is the british experience. You have no idea who the person is but you want their meat. Its pure objectification on either end.

"You're so hot!" comes across as expressing desire, "Omg, look at those tits and ass, I wanna fuck that tight rig!" (this is verbatim something someone has said to me) is just...'lol, gross'. The men who said either of those things are coming from the same space within themselves. Their lust for women's bodies. They are just expressing it differently. So you are just getting fooled by the presentation.
