Yeah I got the standard long distance custody. All holidays every other year. One weekend a month and 6 weeks in the summer. It's gonna cost me a fortune. Totally worth the cost. I can easily gain that back. I'm already making twice what I was making in Texas.

Literally a week after I lost my job. My SAHM ex told me to get the f out. We had a good savings to accommodate things like this! But now I'm suddenly not worth a f***! I got a new much better paying job two months later. Never looked back!

This will pass. I would consider myself lucky in your situation. I'm 8 months in. Work constantly. I do everything necessary to support my kids. But I don't get to see them. From what I've understood from this thread is that focus on improving yourself mentally and physically. When you're at the bottom there's only one way to go. Up!

Kids are like that! Stay strong, do the right things and most importantly, don't take it personally. As long as you do the right things and be a good father, when the time comes she will see! Stay strong brother.

Run... Run away. This sounds like some sorta trap. I cannot fathom how. But this can be nothing more than a trap! Run away. Discontinue all communication. Work on yourself.

I'm in a similar situation divorced at 35 and married for 6 years together for 8. Don't jump into dating quick. Take your time to rebuild your relationships and work on your self. Your status as far as dating is concerned will only improve.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
