I actually feel sorry for women, they don't shit test on purpose and it ends up screwing them over too. I think I'm beginning to exit the anger stage. Here's my reply: Adrianna"Banana", you have discovered the curse of being female. Which of these things is traditionally masculine: going out to the bar and having an evening of drinks, or having to ask for permission to go to the bar? Which of these things is traditionally masculine: light flirting with other women, or feeling bad for wanting to …

This is an excellent post overall, but you're missing a key connection about lifting weights. Being physically capable is a direct and primal form of male sexual capital: power and dominance. It's not as important to our survival now as it used to be, but our biology doesn't care much. There's a reason so much of Daniel Rose's Sex God Method is about physical dominance.

Yes it is. Testosterone and cortisol levels change in day to day interactions depending on who is dominant and who is submissive or fearful. The relevant study showed that the winning team at a sports event had higher T and lower C, and vice versa for the losing team.

Dude. All women are Sociopaths!!! (using the Gervais definition). The average woman is so much better at communication than the average man, it's not even funny. There are at least two reasons for this: not as physically strong, so they are better at understanding and manipulating others' emotions, and they need to be able to take care of young children who can't speak yet. Most of women's powertalk is subconscious - if you point out that feminism or "no means no" are shit tests they will blow u…

Which is better for you: Doritos or broccoli? The answer to that question is based on the proportions of nutrients available in each food - nutrients which our bodies evolved to require. I agree, science is preferable to reenactment. However there are a lot of areas where the science hasn't caught up with what ought to be common sense if you think about our evolutionary history. Real, whole food that comes from a healthy, functioning ecosystem is almost always going to be better than industriall…

Likewise, I have a STEM degree but reading The Definitive Book of Body Language and similar materials has helped my social skills immensely. It's pretty damning of current social science programs that they don't even teach the basics of our evolved communication systems.

Agreed. However, the government provides significant incentives to consume grains and other processed foods. The biggest one is subsidies. People generally act on their incentives. For example, it's cheaper to buy a bag of Doritos than a bunch of broccoli.

That's not what that article says at all. It says the link between diet and acne is inconclusive, and dairy may be implicated. This makes sense with what I've heard from other sources. Acne is hormonally driven. If you don't think what you eat can affect your hormone balance...then I guess there's not much else to say.

Fair enough. I'd still advise that you avoid the government corn, wheat, and soy though. If you are interested, do your own research, but keep in mind the massive flows of money between the government, Monsanto, and modern nutritional "science". I like Mark Sisson's stuff at marksdailyapple.com.

I'm going to go ahead and state that there are a lot of generalizations in this post. I think they are accurate in the average case. Read Arthur Schopenhauer's short essay "On Women". Basically he says that women are for propagating life. TRP has helped me to understand what this means. Women bear and raise children, and they are built for these tasks physically and mentally (for example, better understanding of nonverbals to communicate with young children). Men provide and build (better unders…

Not as hypocritical as it seems... looks are way more important to guys than they are to girls. After all, the female is the one who has to carry and nourish the child for 9+ months, but the male just has to get the process started. It makes sense that females would therefore need to display lots more reproductive fitness signals to be considered attractive. Still, I'm not willing to be that much of a shitbag. I'm getting fit because I need my girl to follow. If she won't, then next.

imagine a man and a woman getting married, then the woman slipping and falling on some strange d and she gets pregnant. 10 years later she divorces the man because he doesn't understand how to tame her, and he will probably be forced to give up half his assets and over half his disposable income in the courts, and be left a broken hearted reject in the dating market. a woman's most valuable asset is her body and looks. it is a terrible thing to take this from her forcibly. for men it is more com…

It's not a position of power. "You seem like a cool girl" is a neg straight out of Roosh V's Day Bang: Your line for getting the number is: “Well you seem cool do you want to grab a drink sometime and chat some more?” You’ll probably notice a lack of commas after the words well and cool. That was no accident. The you seem cool part of our line is actually a tactical neg, implying that you've been judging and evaluating her during the entire conversation. I once had a girl explain rape to me as follows: Imagine if the police came to your house, handcuffed you, and made you watch as they carried out your valuable belongings, destroyed your furniture, and stole your car. Then you go to jail and lose your job. That's how it feels to a girl to be raped. Viewed through the lens of TRP this description is quite apt: rape represents forcibly taking the source of a woman's power from her. For a man this is his personal freedom and his resources, wealth, …

Oh jesus. I have been dealing with this for YEARS. One thing that helps is dread game. Science and people of science, for the most part, hold emotion in contempt. I went to marriage counseling with a practitioner of emotionally focused therapy based on Sue Johnson's book Hold Me Tight: Seven Conversations for a Lifetime of Love. Now, this philosophy is BP as fuck, but it does have some interesting points. Emotions are our automatic evolved responses to situations. When we are threatened, we either freeze (fear), fly (fear), or fight (anger). When we are happy, we laugh and this po…

I believe that biochemistry explains EVERYTHING about who and what we are. We have only scratched the surface of how our minds and bodies work, so we often do not know the explanations for our behaviors, but they are still explainable. Your brain releases dopamine, serotonin, endogenous opioids, etc. These memories, along with impressions of sensory imagery, get encoded as connections between neurons and a whole slew of rel…
