My major complaint is that the presentation of these issues as diametrically opposed to the goals of feminism when in reality they can either be considered separate issues that do not fall under the purview of feminism or (more accurately imo) they are issues that fall under the purview of feminism, just with less emphasis than other issues. I also must note that yes men who do not work against it are complicit in the support of the patriarchy, but so are women. In general if you aren't against the patriarchy then you are allowing the patriarchy to propagate through inaction or through unexamined action that actually supports the patriarchy. This isn't to say that all people who aren't actively against the patriarchy are bad people, but they do inhibit the progress of people who are trying to solve these problems.

Exactly it shouldn't be about bringing other people down to your levels but bringing everyone up to a better standard. For instance you should try to end workplace deaths rather than just tell women that they need to be in jobs where they die more.
