It's really completely up to you. You hold the cards. You decide what you want. No more, no less. If you can find a woman who desires what you do in a partner, go for it. If not, don't. Personally, I have a girlfriend. She knows who I am, and that I will change for no one but myself. We split bills evenly, and support ourselves with our own money otherwise. That lifestyle works for us. We're not married; either party can opt out at any time.

Hanging out with some buddies Saturday. Five hour road trip in the Mustang on Sunday; spending the night, then heading back the next day. Gotta love three day weekends.

I thoroughly enjoy exploring new places (in case my username didn't give that one away) and where I'm heading has ample lakes, mountains, and pine forests to explore; plus I'll be 20 minutes from the ocean. As for work, I'll be smack dab in the middle of the two biggest metro areas in the state (where 2/3 of the combined jobs are), but the town itself a bit more rural. On board with the idea of having no baggage there. For reference, I'm in my late 20s, probably about the same as your first jump…

I have the means to go without a job. I've got extensive restaurant experience (FOH & BOH) so I always have that to fall back on while I look for accounting work. I'm looking for the latter already, of course, but certainly easier done when I'm already in the area and able to interview in person.
