| 1 | Just a little contrast on the male curfew, the same thing was imposed on black and brown people back before the civil rights movement in order to prevent them from committing crime and "harming white people"Yeah but this was a response to the police just saying that women should stay indoors after evening hours. Not temporarily until they could find a solution, just that they should stay home until late hours. This kind of advice is something everyone would've figure doubt on their own, but it's simply won't do for the police to sah something like this without also working on a permanent solution. My suggestion that there should be a 6pm curfew on men was an ironic reaction in a moment of despair to police advising women not to go out alone after the disappearance of Sarah Everard. I tried to show men what it would feel like if you turned the usual logic on its head. Apparently, some didn’t like it. AMAMost women follow it not because of oppression or anything but because they respect their religion. No offence but I really don't believe this to be the case. They follow it in fear of oppression from their husbands, their father, and just society's etc in general.
