Do you have a point? Or just came here to make some noise and pretend like you do?

Yeah it's not like she asked him to hoover the house, it would take like 2 mins max if you hustle and do one trip. He chose to support her through school it's not like he was suddenly surprised that he was paying for things and no doubt when she is qualified she will be paying her way. Sounds like he's treating her like a maid instead of someone he cares about. Wonder if when she graduates he'll split the housework 50/50 if he isn't even willing to do 99/1 now.

Being articulate isn't anything about using big words, it's about getting your point across effectively and efficiently. It's better to be succinct and cogent rather than rambling with big words you just learnt the day before. To me it seemed like she was just drawing out her time because she had nothing with any depth to say.

I couldn't help but cringe every time she said that word, it's like a child that learnt something new in year 1 and repeats it to every other person they see whether it makes sense or not.

Thanks for the tip, hate the idea of opening doors in toilets, just as bad when it is twisty taps, you turn the tap on that god knows how many filthy hands have touched that day and wash your hands just to touch the same filthy tap again. Pretty sure it's cleaner just not to wash my hands sometimes, it's not like I piss all over them.

The sad thing is that because you are getting downvoted you are going to believe that it's because a bunch of sexist men are just being sexist because you said something about women. The truth which you will never accept is you are getting downvoted because you are just plain wrong. Sure some sexist posts and comments seep through every now and then but the overwhelming majority of content on this sub is just not sexist at all. Unless you consider a woman being told she is wrong is sexist that i…

Definitely not ignoring it at all, I mentioned money if you would like to re-read what I wrote you will see it there :) Also I was working on equivalencies as the comment I replied to was using a false equivalence.

Both parties are shallow in that instance and who cares? They are both happy.

That's a psychological change rather than a biological change.

Because finding pretty women attractive is biologically hardwired into us they would make the best potential offspring in theory. The same way that women find handsome men attractive and nobody really says women should only date people uglier than them. Money is a social construct so it's after the social standing rather than the biological need.

A combination of genetics and environment. Aka life. If your logic relies on people who believe they are wolves or a griffon then your logic is flawed. Believing you are a mythical creature that has never existed in the this world other than through social constructs is just impossible unless you are delusional. How would they acquire the genetic predisposition to believe they are a griffon when nothing of the like has ever been part of the genetic spectrum? Those people are just idiots or want …

Wait what? Who are these people? Nobody knows how schizophrenia happens. Just because the biological traits you are looking for haven't been found yet doesn't mean they don't exist, that's a very narrow-minded viewset. To completely exclude the possibility of being trans as a mental illness is rather narrow-minded again.

Schizophrenics have hallucinations, but because it's in their brain chemistry then they are not in fact hallucinations but reality. The schizophrenics can truly believe the hallucinations are real therefore they are.

Well these are southerners so you know what, they are quite prone to getting things wrong all the time so it wouldn't surprise me. Oh and don't downvote me just because you don't agree with me. It's kinda childish.

Well going by regional dialect into normal English it is. The girl kicks the guy in the balls the cretin behind the camera has a giddy sort of 'oooooh' then the bloke slaps the lass and the 'oooooh' changes to an angry one then she says: "Nah that wasn't on man, that wasn't on, he - that guy in the green just fucked over some girl." (fucked over has never meant the same as fucked up in slang English.) Then smashy glass time then loads of people going over to the guy saying "mate that is not on".…

Yeah that's all true but it is still unfair to the men who drive responsibly to be charged more than women and I'm pretty sure more men drive responsibly than don't.

No but I can't find anything that states otherwise so I am assuming that all male drivers are included in this and as it is an insurance company wanting to make as much money as possible; I would say it is more than likely they are included. Especially considering that lorry drivers have to be insured so they will have the data for it. It depends what you define as dangerous, dangerous as in, speeds? Or dangerous as in putting make-up on whilst driving? Or dangerous as in driving 20 mph under th…

Because of factors I mentioned before such as men being professional drivers, i.e. taxi drivers, long-haul truck drivers. If more women did that I'm pretty sure the average distance driven by women would increase as well.
/r/MensRights16/09/14 08:50 PM

Well if women get in more accidents per mile that is the most relevant statistic. That was my point, you can ask those questions all day long but at the end of the day women still get into more accidents per mile than men, regardless of that man or woman who drives less than another. It was an example, if a man and a woman drove an equal distance throughout their lives then the woman would on average have an accident sooner than the man. It is discrimination either way everyone should have to ei…

What about the men who drives less than women? If a man drives a car for 1,000 miles over his life and a woman drives her car for 1,000 miles over her life, which is more likely to get in the accident? You have to remember men are more likely to take paid positions as professional drivers than women which would increase the average distance of all men dramatically I would imagine. So why should the average man be penalised for that?

The title isn't technically factually wrong though, it's as condescending as thinking that construction workers should be paid the same as cleaners.

Why is that? Is it because you are wrong and you are too pathetic to admit that? Because I refuted every single one of your points and the only thing you could do is what I predicted? Is it also because you are a self-confessed liar? Please for the sake of humanity, drop out of your course.

Wasn't passive-aggressive at all, it was sincerity, if you can misjudge a situation like this you shouldn't be allowed anywhere near people who have mental issues. You're so ignorant. No I haven't, show examples where I have, I've just pointed out how much of a moron you are. He wasn't inappropriate though, he was correcting someone in a position of authority who was quite clearly poisoning peoples minds with his ignorance just like you are ignorant too. Wow, you're the most ignorant person I've ever had the displeasure of talking to. I asked you, to expand on what you meant because it made no sense to me. This back up in the corner defensive and irrelevant attack just makes me believe even more that you had no real argument and you just don't want to admit you are wrong so you are rationalising any ridiculous story you can make up as fact. If you aren't going to explain what you meant like a normal human being please don't reply to me.
/r/MensRights13/09/14 03:08 AM

So nothing then, you have your back up in a corner and instead of admitting you are wrong like a man you take the cowards way out and pretend I am the one who has done something wrong. Please don't come back here, we don't need pathetic people like you here.

What? What is this sensationalist bullshit you think I am trying to further? Please explain to me because I am at a loss.

Not really the 'professor' was spreading misinformation in a classroom. He was correcting the 'professor' with anecdotal and factual evidence, he wasn't asking for help or sympathy. I hope you don't get into psychology as a field.

I remember having a lengthy discussion with some feminist woman on Reddit awhile ago and she couldn't seem to wrap it round her skull that I considered myself to hold an egalitarian viewpoint. She kept saying there is no such thing as an egalitarian movement because not many people identify as that, just repeating that over and over. She also said, 'sounds like feminism to me! Just identify as a feminist!' She eventually stopped replying when I pointed out exactly why feminism is not egalitarian…

The way I see it: Bear Grylls = Stuck in a certain situation, fastest way out with some fun, gives basic tips. Wouldn't be helpful for more than a couple of days (which is really all you need if you remember his tips). Ray Mears = You seriously want to go out there by choice and live in the land for a week or more but with completely basic supplies. A lot more technical and a lot more in-depth. Not a fast way out but a relaxing journey. I'm not even going to comment on the SAS thing.
