Konosuba is famous for the gender equality meme. The Shield Hero is brilliant in that the main character is isekai'd into a 'matriarchal society' and becomes a criminal after certain important woman accused him falsely. But the only anime I remember a male character slapping a woman is Cautious Hero. It's quite a good anime IMO. Curiously all three of them are isekais.

I don't know about that but defining violence against women as gendered violence doesn't mean violence against men cannot be gendered. IIRC the UN defines gendered violence without distinction of gender, although in practice it will always be framed as if women were the only victims.

How is it not wrong to fund, with government money (money from every working male and female), programs that will give extra opportunities to women but not to men? If some feminists want to make a girls only stem club, I don't personally care. But if we're actually talking about a higher education institution (this adds an important layer of formality), and programs totally or partially funded by everyone's money... I do care.

lol reminds me I wrote a comment on that subreddit about how feminism artificially overemphasized the role of the woman who "made possible" the black hole picture... Went to Wikipedia and the project site to make sure my statements were correct. But apparently, "I don't deserve a space to express my bullshit opinion". I reported that comment for being rude. Gender violence is a term that according to the UN it shouldn't discriminate against any of both genders.
