That's nothing new. I remember seeing in F#s boards a guy complaining that he has been followed by the SJW herd a while back. They were looking for all the kinds of professional or non-professional projects he had been involved in and "warning" his peers about his political disposition (just a normal right wing guy). They were all over his github and twitter, it was completely nuts.

There are persons that make a living on creating discord and strife. What would any social scientist (other than an economist) do to get attention and research grants? Truth is very few of they actually do has any interest to society. They have to always find "problems" that only they can solve, with state power and money. Otherwise they'd just be educated fools working at McDonalds.

That's not just about feminists. That's the general approach of socialists. They will pretend to fight for the rights of X and Y even if X and Y are against it. But it just doesn't matter. They just care for fighting for a "cause".

Yes. Read "Basic Economics" by Thomas Sowell. It's a book written without a single equation nor graphic. It's very very easy to read and the guy is a damn good writer -- his books are a fucking joy to read. I believe they are perfectly suited for a 10th grader, for instance. If you look him up you'll see how many books the guy has written over the years, although I caution you to be careful as some are for a lay audience while others are more academic. I agree that HHH is not an author for everyone's tastes but the guy sure is a provocative and very interesting author. I've read a couple of his books (Democracy - The God That Failed / The great fiction / The Economics and Ethics of Private Property) and always find them pretty enlightening and entertaining.
