Is it better to get a decisive rejection, or to put a girl on the back burner and approach it in future? Thanks, I guess it was a pretty rudimentary question in hindsight. I ended up making a last ditch effort on a particularly cool girl I've been chatting to recently and it actually paid off, so there's definitely a good lesson to be learned from this. | /r/seduction | 13/04/13 06:46 AM
I am leaving you, Seddit...Analysis paralysis does affect some people in tasks, and this is definitely an instance where there is such an overwhelming amount of ideas and theory that it can definitely become a bit much. However reviewing information after going out into the field can be a very rewarding experience. There's nothing quite like trying something out, and then reading up on it to tweak it for future. Best of luck to you, though. | /r/seduction | 22/02/13 12:32 PM
A question on day game for younger sedditers.Oh don't get me wrong, it's not like I throw in the towel the moment I discover a girl is older than me. From going out to bars and clubs I'm pretty used to getting with girls that are 3+ years older than me, it's just that I don't expect anything of it afterwards. Even with the girls that I've spoken to after K-closing a previous night, it generally tapers off as they realise that they're maintaining contact with someone who isn't even of the legal age yet. What this then relates to is that whi… | /r/seduction | 09/06/12 07:36 AM
A question on day game for younger sedditers.I completely agree that any time a person develops a limiting belief that the best way to dispel it is to go out and try it, however that's not exactly what I was saying. It's not that I believe that day game is impossible for a guy my age, it's just that I wanted to get some input to see what you guys thought. To be honest, I can't imagine why I would just hang around in a coffee shop by myself. I personally don't know anyone my age that would just go to a coffee shop to chill by themselves, bu… | /r/seduction | 09/06/12 07:22 AM
What is the timeframe of outcome independence like for you guys? Do you stop caring immediately once something has gone negatively, or do you forget about it instantaneously? To be honest, while I understand the philosophy behind what you're saying, and while I agree that had I been born in Africa, or watched my parents die in front of me, then I'd be a very different person. The point I'm trying to highlight is that I wasn't born in Africa, and I didn't watch my parents die. I live a perfectly normal life, and I aim to create something out of it. People don't need tragic circumstance to throw them into a gloom spiral, and to never recover. Every day you look at peop… | /r/seduction | 31/05/12 03:20 AM
Hey /r/seduction, IAmA personal stylist for men. I teach men how to look attractive. AMA.I tend to find that a lot of guys with style layer their clothes to complement each individual piece of clothing, and I'd very much like to do this. However, I'm not particularly sure why, but I maintain a very high body temperature at all times. What this basically means is that unless the weather is freezing cold (which it rarely is in Australia) I generally get very hot and sweaty if I try and wear layers of clothing. What types of light material or types of clothing can I wear for layering, … | /r/seduction | 30/05/12 02:43 PM
What is the timeframe of outcome independence like for you guys? Do you stop caring immediately once something has gone negatively, or do you forget about it instantaneously? That was an interesting read, thanks for the link. And yeah, I definitely used to be a very outcome dependent person, and I always relied on closure before I could even begin to move on. I'm much better with that than I used to be, but I still do occasionally just get a little curious as to why something didn't work, but mostly because I just want to know what I can improve for future. However most of the time I am capable of just stepping away, and while it might nag at me for a tiny bit, it ne… | /r/seduction | 30/05/12 08:40 AM
What is the timeframe of outcome independence like for you guys? Do you stop caring immediately once something has gone negatively, or do you forget about it instantaneously?Haha, I'll admit, I may have come across in my initial post as attempting to be a little too apathetic with the world, but that wasn't my intention. I'm just trying to look at it from the perspective of a PUA, and ask myself "Is this something that I should allow to affect me, or should I just go with the flow?" Don't get me wrong though, I understand the importance of contrast in life. Without sadness, we wouldn't even be able to define happiness. But at the same time, a lot of people live with… | /r/seduction | 30/05/12 08:34 AM
What is the timeframe of outcome independence like for you guys? Do you stop caring immediately once something has gone negatively, or do you forget about it instantaneously?I'll admit that I do find this concept a bit difficult to understand in its entirety. I like the example you initially provided, because I agree that a person's expectations of the world, and the reality of that world are two very different things, so naturally when they aren't congruent with each other, that can lead to disappointment, sadness, etc. I suppose the difference in how I feel after a flake, and the way you feel, is that I'm just not as familiar to this notion. I guess it irritates m… | /r/seduction | 30/05/12 08:25 AM
What is the timeframe of outcome independence like for you guys? Do you stop caring immediately once something has gone negatively, or do you forget about it instantaneously?Since I've started learning all this stuff I definitely agree that the second you start enjoying greater success with women, that success begins to increase exponentially. From the perspective of the person who I used to be, I would only ever be aiming for one girl, and I'd place too much value on her, and accordingly if she flaked I'd be devastated. So now even though I might be a little disappointed something doesn't work out, I'm still leaps and bounds ahead of that guy I used to be. And then… | /r/seduction | 29/05/12 03:28 PM
What is the timeframe of outcome independence like for you guys? Do you stop caring immediately once something has gone negatively, or do you forget about it instantaneously?Yeah, I definitely agree with that sentiment, but in some ways I do think there can be little exceptions. Like, I have goals and aspirations which I aim to achieve, and so occasionally I'll be excited for what I'll be capable of in the future, and I might think about it a little bit. Conversely, I like to look back on a previous night to evaluate what I did right, and what I could have improved on. And every now and again I like to look at myself from months or years ago, just to take satisfacti… | /r/seduction | 29/05/12 03:21 PM
