Bro, that’s awesome! I thought you said you didn’t do any sports? I do BJJ myself. It’s not about making it a career. I’m a professional software engineer, but my passion in life is Jiu Jitsu. The goal here is to have a masculine focus to your life. Think of it like an anchor. The waves of life might want to throw you this way or that, but having that strong, grounding anchor is what’s going to keep you from being blown around by the vicissitudes of life. Women love it. Any guy on here is going …

There’s a lot of room for improvement here. I’m not going to bullshit you; this is going to require some major effort on your part, and will force you to change. Not many guys can actually change, but it’s possible. The key thing here is that you need to want to change. Let’s talk for a minute about what women find attractive in men. First, there are physical characteristics. Typically, these include visible upper body fitness cues like arm and chest muscles, broad shoulders, etc. Height is also…

So, first, I want to congratulate you on acknowledging that the problem is you. So many self “incel” types lash out at women and want to blame them for their own shortcomings. You’ve done the first step, which is to realize that you need to change and evolve and grow as a man in order to earn women into your life. I need some information before I can start to help you more effectively. What are your hobbies? Do you do any sports? What are your strengths as a man? What are your weaknesses? What d…

Got to play with the hand you’re dealt, bro. To be clear, I do not resent my need to work hard and earn attention from women, and (I know this might be hard to understand, but I am adamant about this) given the choice, I’d choose this over the alternative. It actually makes me better in the balance of things. I’ve earned everything I have, and I find that to be better than just having been handed it.

So fucking true. In my experience, it takes an enormous amount of self discipline to achieve true success with women.

Sure you can! It takes some creativity and engineering, but you can definitely allow those characteristics to come through on your profile if you work at it. Tinder is the most challenging of the dating platforms to make this happen because of the small bio size, but other apps give you plenty of opportunity to communicate those intangibles. Hinge, Coffee Meets Bagel, etc. are typically better for guys that have great non-physical characteristics. The pictures you choose to put on your dating pr…

Dude, that stuff isn’t what makes you high value. Those things are artifacts of high value, but those things by themselves do not make a man high value. Having a masculine purpose, and making that purpose the focal point of your life: high value. Being confident, capable, knowledgeable, and wise: high value. Being kind (but not “nice”), generous, sympathetic, and at ease with others: high value. Being physically strong, having rigorously physical hobbies, and knowing how to take care of your bod…

This might be a geographical effect. I can tell you that where I live, some gorgeous, amazing women meet men through dating apps. I’ve dated some of the most beautiful, intelligent, successful women ever through dating apps. The best thing is that I can tell right away if they’re worth my time. They’ll usually have their whole lives right there for you to dig through. Also, this is passive income, and it’s not either/or. I day and night game very, very well, and use dating apps as an additional …

The answer is, like most things in game, “it depends”. If you’re freaked out by the dynamics of clubs and bars, you’ll be nervous, awkward, and weird, and women won’t respond well. An experienced wingman can help, but going solo in this situation isn’t what you want to do. The best answer I can give you is that you should day game wherever you feel most comfortable, relaxed, in control, and masculine. This is super simple. Wherever that place is for you, that’s where you should day game. For me,…

Good luck with that. Seriously, though, here’s my advice: Invest in a solid dating app profile. It’s 2020. That’s simply how it’s done these days. The ROI on a high quality profile is insane. If it was a stock, you’d be a fool not to invest in it. Hire a professional photographer with your baller ass income there, finance bro. Write all about your fancy car. Women really respect that. (Do not be overt about your success. They should be able to infer that you’re successful. Lead with your qualiti…

Like, straight away? Not the most common case, but if the messaging is sexual in nature and she’s clearly wanting to fuck, then I would just invite her to my place for sex without the pretext of a date. Otherwise, there needs to be a date first. Most women have a need to not feel slutty, even if what they’re doing is slutty. She might want to fuck, but the idea of just going to your place for sex without a date first sets off her “don’t be a slut” conditioning. Date first. I like dates, actually…

The first step is take a long look in the mirror and take stock of what you see. I know it’s easy to blame “feminism” and other people for your problems, but the only path to becoming better is to accept that the only thing you have control over, the only thing you can possibly change, is you. Killing another person would be the dumbest thing you could do. Your position in life would become infinitely worse. Suicide would also be a bad idea. You’d be effectively cutting off your chances to see h…

I’d like to see one. I date a lot, and I often see women making the same mistakes over and over when it comes to dating. There’s shockingly little content for women to improve themselves in ways that men value, and much of the current material is reductionist and tends to portray men in negative ways. I like smart women. I like funny women. I like hard working, accomplished women with careers and ambitions, and many other truly high value men feel the same way. There’s very little discourse happ…

I’ve been reading FDS for a while now, and honestly it feels like most of those women are working through some serious emotional trauma. I feel bad for most of them. Some of them are the female equivalent of incels, where they are their own worst enemy with respect to attracting partners, but many of them seem to have been alpha widowed and are looking to make themselves feel better. Poor things. What they often fail to grasp, and many men are like this too, is that if their goal is to attract a…

I have tons of experience with direct approach day game and I still have approach anxiety, so what you’re experiencing is totally normal. Don’t expect it to ever go away completely, but do expect to be able to manage it and even turn it into something good that can help you. So this is just my initial impression, but it seems like you’re not getting very much buy in from the girl. She should be carrying her weight in the conversation. It’s not all on you. She needs to ask you about yourself and what you’re into as much as you should be asking her those questions, and you better have good responses for her. Is the problem really that you’re struggling to have a conversation, or that you’re not getting much of an investment from the girl and she’s not interested enoug…

This is a skill, and like every skill in history, the best way to get better is to practice. A lot. You can learn tips and tricks, but nothing will substitute for just talking to a lot of girls and experimenting. Check out Todd V’s material, he’s got a lot of good things to say about this.

Okay, let's explore this a little. First, I'd like to thank you for making the effort. I work too, so I understand why this is hard. Time is money, I bet we're both hard working men that value our performance at our respective occupations. If a fetus is not human and abortion is legal, wouldn't that mean that there would be no deaths? No loss of life? For that column, I'm assuming that you are correct and that is the logical consequence. What other likely outcome could there be? What I was tryin…

Again, I don’t think you’re being honest in your argumentation. You’re ignoring key points I’m making and not arguing in good faith. For the comatose person, the key component you’re ignoring that that the person was alive before, and will regain consciousness in the scenario you portray. The fetus was never conscious in the first place. Semen and eggs have the potential to become conscious over time. Are those cells people too? For your table you’ve created, you’re missing out on very important…

DNA is just a chain of molecules. I find your argument less then convincing. What makes humans special is this amazing, unique thing called consciousness. DNA doesn’t do it. By that logic each cell in our body should be in the same class as an adult human, they both have human DNA. You bring up a good point about the comatose person. If there is no chance of the person recovering from their comatose state, I don’t have an issue with their life ending. Their life has effectively already ended, th…

I disagree with an assumption you make in point 3, that they are “human life”. You’re ignoring a key point I’m making, that just because they’re human cells and “developing” that they are in the same class as humans that have actually developed. I don’t agree with that at all. They are multicellular organisms that have the potential to become human, but they are not human, despite the semantic game you’re playing by saying that just because they have human DNA that they are the moral equivalent …

Of course I do, but fetuses are not children. They are multicellular organisms that have human DNA, but I do not consider them children in the same way that I do not consider semen or liver tissue to be a child.

/r/seduction11/03/19 04:53 PM

Sure. Women in the US, and I assume this applies to women in the world in general, want to be made to feel special by a high value man. Culture and society have conditioned them to understand that as love, where they are the analog of a Disney princess and a handsome, charming, desirable prince has come to whisk them off to her perfect life. Dating is a critical aspect of this process for a girl. It’s largely the man’s responsibility during this courtship process to demonstrate to her that he is…

There’s a whole lot of pain in this thread. Women fuck. They might not fuck you, they might not fuck me, but they’re fucking someone. If you’re not getting sex from the women you want to fuck, it’s because you need to work on something. Listen to the feedback from the universe. Cold approach is the best testing ground, IMO. If you can walk up to a girl randomly, strike up a conversation, and build attraction, you know you’re got game.

Absolutely false. https://www.inverse.com/article/39410-male-attractiveness-upper-body-strength In Proceedings of the Royal Society B: Biological Sciences, a trio of male researchers reported that women, because of the quirks of their evolution, still unanimously consider strong-looking men — those who look like they can enter a fight and win it — to be the most attractive. All that attractiveness, the researchers conclude in this strictly cis-gendered study, is presented in a man’s upper body. …

As for what I say, I'm not really sure how to answer that. I mostly just talk to them like they're a person. She definitely knows that I want her attention and that I like her. Lots going on here. I’ll start out with this; The key to having game in the club is having game outside of the club. Make sure all your shit is on point. How’s your fitness? How’s your fashion? If you’re locked on, doing what you’re supposed to be doing, and you’re happy with the man you are and confident that you have value, then club game should be easy. “Models” had the best advice for club pickup, in my opinion. You just go right up to her and tell her you think she’s hot. No bullshit, just …

Not really. From my experience, when you show weakness, it’s a turn off for them, regardless of the context, length of the relationship, etc. Yes, it sucks. That’s hypergamy, though. Women are solipsistic by nature and can’t really, truly empathize with men. Think about it like this: What’s the upside to showing weakness with women? If you need a shoulder to cry on, get a therapist. Your girlfriend won’t (actually) give a shit, and it’ll degrade your frame in her mind. The list of risks dramatic…

Chill, bro. He’s just working on his cold approach. Shit takes time.

Thanks for updating us on this journey, man. Cold approach takes balls, women recognize it for the difficult thing it is and react well to it from my experience. Just don’t let the rejections trip you up, you’re still braver than 99.999% of men.

Have you read The Rational Male?

Yes, sounds like classic anti-slut-defense. She just needs to feel more comfortable around you, I'm guessing. Third date should do it. After that drop her and get more amicable plates spinning.

Good reply. I agree with what you're saying about protein 100%. Show me a non-strong looking movie star that women fawn over. They're rare, if they exist at all.

Models (Mark Manson) is great. Try Rollo Tomassi's The Rational Male, also. Seconding the lifting. Women are attracted to muscles. Try to find a fellow engineering student to lift with. 5x5 strong lifts is a good place to start.

Do you lift weights?

The Rational Male. It’s a manual for understanding male-female dynamics. It’s essential reading. It changed my life, and I can’t possibly recommend it too strongly. I am a happier, healthier man because of it. The audiobook is good, listen to it when you drive if you have a commute to work.

No, not at all. You’re completely misunderstanding the dynamic here. It’s not binary like that, where the only options are to either text her every twenty minutes or ghost her. There’s a healthy balance when it comes to texting, but the root cause of all the anxiety and neediness you’re feeling is that you’re putting all your eggs in one basket with this girl. She’s just a girl. No matter how special you think she is, dude, there are thousands just like her. I promise you that this is the truth.…

You’re doomed to fucking this up. I know this isn’t what you want to hear, but you’re inherently doing the thing that will kill any genuine desire she has for you. You need to accept that there is a reality to the universe, and it doesn’t give a shit about your idealized fantasies of finding a soulmate and running off into the sunset with her. Sorry, bro. The world just doesn’t work like that.

Dude, Stefan, read The Rational Male. You need to understand that you're suffering from "Oneitis", and are setting yourself up for some serious soul crushing disappointment when this doesn't work out because you're doing the thing that will kill any attraction she has for you: being needy.

Elizabeth Holmes?

Yup, this. As a man, having a job is important. It gives you a sense of purpose, a sense of identity, and shows that you're capable of contributing to society. It increases your self-worth, both materially and internally. You need to get this locked down. Nothing is going to shatter your momentum with a woman than having to reply to her inevitable question about occupation with "I'm unemployed." Ouch.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
