Prioritising economic stability and female fertility, it's best to wait and marry a younger woman once you constructed a solid life for yourself. There's a few problems with that however; 1 - It's easier than ever to fall in sexual sin. Putting off marriage is a massive test of will. 2 - With rapid technological and consequently cultural change happening, it's becoming harder for people of different ages to relate to each other, making age differences in relationships less tolerable. 3 - [Genesi…

That was legit. I especially liked the illustration of how the current order is actually just a playground for wicked men.

You're right. Both OP and I conflated being or saying sorry with apologizing. The distinction is not usually made in dialogue today, but there is definitely a distinction. Implicit in the promise not to flood the world a second time is a sympathy for the horror of such events. It is not an admission of wrong, rather an expression of care.

Regarding VIII, you could make a decent case that His designation of the rainbow after the flood as a promise never to repeat such a horror was an apology in addition. Regardless, it still illustrates that fringe circumstances with truly large impact are worth apology.

1&2 - Yes, having a child with the realisation you brought it into the world through terrible and unstable circumstances is very sobering. Sometimes the wall, sometimes a child, sometimes both. You gauge the regret by the time done repairing (their mind, ability to pair bond, etc), seeking right ways, even abstaining for a time. 3 - Only one time have I seen that, and it was a widower. The issues that arise from such behaviour are simply not worth it most of the time. 4 - No negative repercussio…

I'll have to look into it!

Very interesting, thankyou for the extra insights. I always enjoy delving into the original languages for greater clarification. I think my reaction to your original statement was a product of my stringent definitions of "willingly" and "blameless". The Greek illuminates the latter a little better in this context.

Harmless is not willing or deliberately hurting anyone or anything. (Heb 7:26) This is overstated. - I eat meat (I participate in the slaughter of animals) - I will defend the weak - I will defend my family - I will defend myself - I kill bugs around the house! I also don't understand where you drew the correlation between your statement and the verse.

Per Question 2: I am doing a variant of what you suggested. Still very much interacting with women, just not going out of my way or expecting any results. Just playing into it a little to get comfortable with RP attitudes. My main focus is still self-improvement. Making something of myself. FYI - I'm in a not too dissimilar position. Recently red pilled. Exploring Christianity deeply, critiques and justifications, both internally and externally. Dealing with anxiety, depression, etc. Same height…

I have been interested in the reason why bulgarian women are much more down to earth than western ones and I may write a post about some of the historical factors that contributed to this. Certainly do. Anytime there's a little less crazy in the world it's good to try and understand why 😂

It's not hard to find passages where God shows us hints of his glory to make us desire the full thing - like when he let Moses see his back side. I can't believe you've done this.

You linked him direct to RPC stuff? Phew, good luck man 😅 Seriously though, I hope he comes around. It could do wonders for that community through the potential change in his leadership.

Yes! I appreciate the sentiment of the post. It's absurd really - I got a sort of faux-interrogation from the pastoral care guy, and his wife, at my church because I radically changed my diet and started lifting. Over the course of two conversations no less. It was almost as if they were concerned for me. Sure, we can focus too much on lifting, idolize physique even, but you don't get a free pass from living healthy just because it might become an idol. Our whole lives are filled with potential …

"Caring for your body is good, but shallow, selfish and prideful" They actually fit that into one sentence without realising what they just said? They just equated physical health with shallowness.

Hang in there brother. Psalm 34:18 In this tough time there may be some bitter knowledge to be gained - we Christians are the wandering bride of Christ - may you draw closer to God as you appreciate his position all the more.

Could you be more specific about how the first young guy approached you?

Song of Solomon, Chapters 4-7. It's erotic poetry. He's talking about her body, she's talking about his. They revel in each other's sexuality. Song of Solomon 7:12 - let us go out early to the vineyards and see whether the vines have budded, whether the grape blossoms have opened and the pomegranates are in bloom. There I will give you my love. Sexy is good. Sex is good. Marriage is good.

Lifting is discipline, it's hard work that you wear for everyone to see. Sexuality is for committed couples, yes, that doesn't mean the selection process is entirely void of physical appearance as a factor. You should desire your partner, even lust after them - take Song of Solomon / Song of Songs as an example.

I was essentially saying that if you're comfortable, only she can be awkward, and that's totally fine. You feeling awkward is your need for some sort of reaction from her - it's subservience to her attitude towards you. How do I not make it awkward seeing her tomorrow during service? Do I say hi and leave? Do I ask if she wants to talk after mass? Do whatever you want. Just don't have her reaction determine your happiness.

Age, height, weight, body fat percentage, lifts, etc. See rule 2 on the sidebar.

Awkwardness is a 2-way affair. If you're living comfortably within your frame, operating securely on your own terms, then the only one that can be awkward is her. That requires authenticity. Obviously that's absolutist and therefore not entirely true, but I hope you get the idea. Also, some more detail on stats might help.

I'm doing a PPL program 5 days a week, yet to reach the limit of my dumbbell set. Plan is to start at the local gym once I develop past the dumbell weight range. I have one in mind. If I transitioned to the gym now it would be solely for very low rep ranges on the bigger lifts. In a month or two that won't be the case.

Much appreciated, man. I relate. It's good to hear from people making progress despite facing similar struggles. Here's hoping improvement in other areas will help make me think less like a eugenicist trying to stamp out my own stuttering genes.

Yes, there's certainly a psychological aspect to the stutter, it's not just genetics. That's my main focus for the moment, hence the public speaking group. Scary stuff. Thank you for sharing that video, it doesn't get much more inspirational than that.

I'm into some weird shit, but the more mainstream stuff would be: Jocko Podcast (life lessons, etc from an ex-military commander) Show Me The Meaning (film analysis and discussion) Rubin Report (libertarian / classical liberal has dialogue with a wide range of people) The Family Alpha (pro-masculinity dialogues) I go back to music now and then too, if I need motivation or am just in the mood for metalcore 🤘

Podcasts while exercising work great. Train the body and educate the mind all at the same time.

I think part of the problem (and I'm speculating here, feel free to contradict me) is that "love and respect" can turn to simply "love". Love without respect leads the woman to take charge, to fill the role of respected leader, causing her to ultimately resent the man's inability, and in doing so lose that love she had for him at the beginning.
/r/RedPillWomen21/09/18 05:47 AM

That makes it sustainable. Then my question is, why would the woman still hold on to her old name when the rest of the family is otherwise unified under the banner of the fathers name? It's as if she's got a foot outside the door of the house that is her family. Also, why would the child take only the fathers name if the wife didn't also? It sounds poorly thought out and merely pseudo-egalitarian.
/r/RPChristians

Hyphenated ones? It's unsustainable, even two generations down the names get way too long.
/r/RPChristians

What do you think about young guys who are yet to establish themselves career wise? Would that not be the woman betting on an unproven horse, so to speak.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
